“Full Strength”

Returning weapon

All offensive weapons handpicked by Bucco Bruce Arians appear to be returning for Sunday’s game in Tennessee.

The Scotty Miller Experience (experiment?) appears to be over for now. Arians said on his Buccaneers Radio show yesterday that veteran receiver Brashad Perriman is expected back at “full strength” to take over the role Miller and others filled in his absence. Perriman himself also told the Tampa Bay Times that he is ready to roll.

Perriman, the 26-year-old former Ravens first-round bust, was lost to a hamstring injury early in the exciting Bucs win against the Rams on Sept. 29.

His season numbers of three catches for 16 yards on 12 targets are ugly, but Perriman’s return feels like a huge upgrade compared to having Miller and recently cut Bobo Wilson on the field sharing No. 3 receiver duties.

Joe would love to see a huge bounce-back game from Perriman on Sunday. First, the significant upgrade he represents in the lineup could lead to a Bucs win, and if he plays well in a Bucs loss, he could be someone the Bucs could trade before the Oct. 29 deadline.

Adam Humphries sure is looking good right now, watch him torch us on Sunday

  2. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Perriman will at least attract some attention from defenders….hopefully freeing up Godwin & Evans

  4. Defense Rules Says:

Or we could use our TEs instead.

  5. Bucsfanman Says:

    Woo-hoo! 12-4 here we come!

  6. Eric Says:

CLEAN HOUSE……I forgot Adam Humphries the guy on pace for 530 yards and 0 td is such a world beater. Not sure where you got that he was killing it.

  7. TiredBucFan Says:

Perriman needs to be cut. He is a bust, always has been. Give someone else a chance. Miller should also be cut. Isnt Watson still around? What sbout the kid we cut in the preseason, he had a monster game then never really played again.

  8. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

Is America’s Grop…….errrr, Quarterback still on the roster?

  9. Jeff Says:

Titans 27- Bucs 20. JW has 3 more picks.

Classic Joe Journalism “former Ravens first round bust” acting like former applies to “bust” but sneakily meaning it only applies to “former first rounder”

He’s one of those poor souls who believed Buccaneer Bonzai when he predicted both Kwon Alexander and Adam Humphries were going to be pro-bowlers this year.

  12. CChead Says:

Use TE in slot for the win.

    “The practice warrior

Been cut 2 times because he doesn’t produce during game time

    Look at him! Klueless

  14. Bobby M. Says:

My guess is Bucs will be ultra conservative in play calling in what should be more of a defensive battle. The last thing Arians wants is Winston to implode again. Not much tape on Tanehill in this offense, wont be shocked if he lights us up like every other back up has.

  15. Allbuccedup Says:

If its a defensive battle we are in trouble. Then we will lose then.

  16. Slugglife Says:

    Tennessee ready.

  17. mike Says:

We win this game off the bye and Jameis plays well. If perriman doesn’t play well, cut him and take the comp pick!

  18. tmaxcon Says:

Getting excited about a bum who cant catch is almost as dumb as getting excited for a dumbarse with a broken neck coming back..Oh wait…..

  19. tmaxcon Says:

Bucfan and thier love of comp picks lol all great teams are built with 6 round comp picks and udfa after all

  20. TOM Says:

I have no doubt in my mind that the Bucs will beat the Titans. Then all will be well again in Bucsville.

  21. Joe in Michigan Says:

I’d like to see some production from Perriman, any production. It doesn’t matter if you’re big and fast if you don’t catch the ball. Obviously Arians and Leftwich feel the need for a burner on the field, otherwise Scotty Miller would never have been put in a game.

  22. SteelStudBuc Says:

Perriman needs to do something fast. Hes making big dough for his production. Little out routes aren’t gonna cut it.

  23. SteelStudBuc Says:

WTF is up with Justin Evans? Is he coming off IR or what? Any updates?

  24. Pryda...Sec147 Says:

We going to stomp the titans

  25. Buddha Says:

Adam Humphries stats are pedestrian. 22 receptions in 7 games. Average gain under 10 yards. Not worth the millions he’s being paid.

  26. MadMax Says:

Well, they know they cant run on us so just play prevent the whole dmn game with one MLB (White) right in the middle!

  27. 813bucboi Says:

tell perriman dont forget to bring his hands to the game!!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!

that’s like telling vh3bust to bring more heart, speed, height and brains to the game it is simply physically impossible…

  29. Robert Says:

this guy drops every pass his way. he’s like that guy from the replacements movie

  30. 541BucsFan Says:

The 4th Post by Defensive Rules is ABSOLUTE GENIUS.

    Did You Know?
    1. In the 2015 CFB National Championship a TE recorded 5 catches for 208 yards and 2 TDs. In 2016, that same TE caught 4 passes for 106 yards and 1 TD against in the National Championship.

    2. That same TE runs a 4.51 40, is 6.6, and weighs 251lbs (Comparison to Mike Evans: 4.53, 6’5, 231lbs)

    3. That same TE is on the Bucs.

    Throw OJ the damn ball!!!

  31. Mike10 Says:

    Can he return punts?

  32. unbelievable Says:

Can someone remind BA and BL that OJ Howard and Cam Brate are still on this team?
