  1. Buddy Says:

How can we have confidence in a guy who takes a penalty and claims its better for the kicker that is so inconsistent? Grandpa Arians is starting to show his ineptness in coaching just like in PHX. Same ol stuff from a guy who has never won squat as a HC

  2. isrBuc Says:

Confident in BA to do what? Take us to the playoffs this year? In three years? Idk what the question is about unless you tell me he’ll stay in tampa for the long term even if this team goes 2-14. This is not the usual case with a head coach.

  3. Defense Rules Says:

Last poll I was Very Confident in BA. This poll? Not so much. I was looking forward to an AGGRESSIVE Bucco Bruce … ‘No Risk It, No Biscuit’. Instead we’ve gotten Bumbling Bruce and Blundering Byron. Coaches are being MUCH too conservative … turn the friggin dogs loose. And if those dogs don’t hunt, get some new dogs.

  4. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

How can you be confident in QB whisperer who isn’t calling plays or coaching the QB?

How can you be confident in a coach who blows a 18 point lead?

Being confident in Arians is like trusting your girlfriend to be faithful after you walk in on her in the middle of a three way

  5. FortMyersDave Says:

I voted little confidence simply based on the results and the fact that he is not holding anyone accountable. He basically covered for abunch of guys who epically failed and choked on Sunday. This malarky is the same garbage we saw and heard from Ray Perkins and Sam I Am Wyche back in the Culverhouse era and 5 or 6 win seasons were the norm, oh yeah that is also the norm for the Licht/Glazer lads era of the 2010s. Pathetic. Bucco Bruce is no better than a used car saleman as far as his promises and resolve goes…..

  6. BUC CHEEKS Says:

Same old BUCS… A TEAM THAT DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO PLAY WITH THE LEAD! FACT. THE PATRIOTS DON’T TAKE THEIR FOOT OFF THE GAS!!! THEY PUT THE PEDAL TO THE METAL!!! We go into PREVENT D – AKA PREVENT WINNING. I VOTE LITTLE CONFIDENCE. I ALSO HAD LITTLE CONFIDENCE WHEN BYRON WAS OUR QB. LICHT MUST GO!!!!!!!

  7. Bucsfanman Says:

I’m still very confident in coach. If anyone can sit there and tell me with a straight face that they didn’t expect some growing pains then you’re kidding yourself.
That game was a heart-breaker. Where I draw the line with coaching is production and play on the field. Absolutely you can point to several coaching decisions that make you scratch your head. On the other hand, how many plays were left on the field?
This team has looked way better through three games. We’ve changed schemes, rotated in new players, and are starting rookies at various important positions on the football field. It’s too soon to jump ship.

  8. Todd Says:

Just an important clarification regarding this poll before you do a podcast and exclaim, “Over 50% of the fans taking the poll have lost all confidence in Bruce Arians!”…the poll is biased. I’ve determined 80% of the “fans” in here are faux-fans and are negative about ALL things Bucs…always and forever more (lead by the ring-leader if doom, you-know-who!).

It’s like polling the Democrat party and asking their confidence level in Trump.

    Predictably biased.

    Faux Fans!

  9. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

    Still VC….it’s a work in progress !

  10. JimmyJack Says:

Bucsfanman……After the first two games I was actually thinking we just may not see any growing pains with our defense. But I’ll admitt it was naiveto think that.

But I’m sure those growing pains we’re a factor on Sunday. Another thing I can’t stop thinking about is how differently it could have gone if Devin White were there. You gotta think a top drafted MLB is expected to see that big hole on that last TD and step into it and not let it happen…….that or set us into a better alignment that doesn’t give that. Also gotta think he would limit some of those chunk plays we gave up over the middle. Maybe we win that game with Devin in there.

I maintain my totally confident vote. And look to have my vote vindicated this Sunday. Will not be a victim of the game-to-game PMS reaction like so many others.

  11. Rick Says:

I’m confident, but falling a bit. I expect a competitive game this Sunday. Everyone knows who the rams are and who the Bucs were last year, but I believe we have the talent to fight fire with fire against the rams. The key matchup will be on opposing sidelines. C’mon BA. Not another debacle.

  12. ClodHopper Says:

Been a steady confident from the beginning. He’s taking on the culture.
It will take time. He’s not just a QB whisperer, he’s a millennial whisperer. As the season goes on and we see the up and downs of the fight, I’ll adjust. It’s only the first couple rounds of a boxing match. We don’t know who’s winning yet. We only know the fight will be bloody and brutal!!

  13. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

Reality sinks in for Bucs fans…..his confidence rating was OVER 96% just last week…..LOL. By mid season, it’ll be 50/50. At best.

  14. 813bucboi Says:

    totally confident!!!!!!

    we’re still in Sept…..
we finally have a run game….
    play calling is great….
    defense has improved…..

we just need time to gel….

2018colts started 1-5 and won 10 str8 and they were said to have a soft defense, no run game and lousy o-line!!!!!!….

2018texans started 0-3 and won 9str8…..they have a lousy oline, no run game and a QB that gets hit a ton…..

    we’re good….

    GO BUCS!!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  15. 813bucboi Says:

    DR

how can you say BL is blundering?

didnt he call the plays that made ME have a career day?
didnt he call creative plays to get OJ in mismatches?
didnt he stick to the run game in the 4th quarter?

didnt BA call that dumb @$$ RPO in the red zone with 13sec left?
didnt the kicker miss the kick?…..

i’ll agree that BA has made some head scratching decisions but BL has done a great job as OC….

when he was very “aggressive” JW threw 3 picks…..when he was conservative, we won….when we were somewhat in the middle the kicker wet the bed….

    GO BUCS!!!!!

  16. Bucs Fan From Philly Says:

Just being honest, BA has potentially cost us two straight L’s. Against the Panthers his last second timeout did not help, and this week his lack of attempt to win the game with a TD cost us. Generally, Bucs beat the Bucs, and that has been the culture for several years. Now, we have a coach who is contributing to the Bucs beating the Bucs and it comes at a time when the NFC South is for the taking. No Cam, Brees hurt, and we still can’t pull out a W.

We lost to a rookie QB after taking out a top 5 rusher. Not to mention, each first round draft pick for the last three years has yet to produce to their draft position. OJ, Vita, and White (it is still early on him, but your best ability is availability).

  17. Michael Says:

Looking like he should have stayed retired.

  18. WestChap Says:

We’re 2 plays away from 3-0 and one play away from 0-3. I can’t blame BA for the QB play in game 1. Game 2 was a huge uptick in QB play although we had a few hiccups with time outs and TEs running free in the middle of the field… but we won with a Shaq Attack for the ages even if a bit shaky on the coaching front. Game 3 had all you could ask with a near perfect 28-point 1H from the QB and Evans and Shaq Attack 2.0… and yet the 3-point 2H wreaked of coaches playing scared. The kicker may have lost the game but he was only in that position because the coach was afraid of the QB losing it. If you’re going to play JW (and we are) you can’t neuter the man after 1 pick given his superb 1H. You gotta take Bad Jameis with Good Jameis… because this team with No Jameis is just waiting for next year’s draft. All that means “no confidence” which is sooo depressing for a BA cheerleader like me. Ugh.

  19. Ghost of Darrell Henderson Says:

Wow! Huge uptick in less confident. About 7% last week to 28% this week.

    That’s what I call a Gumpster Fire!

Now they have to travel 3 time zones to face the NFC Champs. The Rams are so good (3-0), they have the best RB in college football history warming the bench.

  20. LargoBuc Says:

After that debacle to end the game-little confidence.

  21. Buc believer Says:

I am confident that the coach is a great B..S. Artist. Anyone that can tell the media two different stories on what happened at the end of the game on two separate days can really lie very well.

  22. Buccernutter Says:

No they have the best rb in college history warming the bench cuz he’s not 100% healthy. Their offense is average and couldn’t do much against a below average browns defensive backfield. Goff has been below average and the d is not nearly as good as it was last year. This team is good but not great at the moment.

    We can win this game.

  23. Buccernutter Says:

The parity in voting is a great example of how dumb this fan base is. Very confident to little confidence is the major swing this week. Yes their was some issues in playcalling but you guy are gutless if you have to switch like that.

You guys remind me of my sister. Grew up a bucs fan, became a panthers fan when we moved to nc and cheers for who’s better at the moment.

THE PROBLEM WITH THE BUCS IS THE FAN BASE! You guys can talk crap all you want to me but the sea of blue Sunday speaks volumes. You guys alienate players and lose hope which dominos. Facts.

  24. stpetebucsfan Says:

    D.R.

You nailed it for me….”Coaches are being MUCH too conservative … turn the friggin dogs loose. And if those dogs don’t hunt, get some new dogs.”

    EXACTLY!

I also agree with FortmyersDave. I’m seeing zero accountability so far. I’m tired of the excuses at this point.

Mostly I am dead set against taking the ball out of JW’s hands.
He is what he is but he IS our starting QB. I do not want to enter a game taking the ball out of JW’s hands although I agree with JJ the results may actually be better.

I’m past results at this point…I want to know who is going to be our QB. I do not want to baby JW and still wonder what will happen if we turn him loose.

FREE JW…LET HIM THROW IT. We need to know what we have and our team is not talented enough to reach the playoffs without utilizing our strengths…great targets and a strong armed QB…accuracy aside.

Final thought on JW…if we’re taking the ball out of his hands..or playing scared..playing to not lose instead of win…we should at least give him a shot at utilizing all his ability. He is a deceptive runner. No he’s not going to take it to the house…he runs like a turtle…but an athletic strong turtle who has shown the ability to elude tacklers and muscle his way past them. That’s when he’s running…not standing in the pocket. And ironically he is one of the best in the league at throwing on the run. Let him run!!!
If he gets hurt…I’d rather have him hurt trying to win than dancing around for 4-5 seconds in the pocket before getting blasted.

  25. Mike Johnson Says:

One things for *am skippy, I am Confident this Tampa Bay Buc team will Not..have a winning season nor make the playoffs. Not from what I am seeing.

  26. Buccfan37 Says:

I chose confident again but little confidence that the Bucs beat the Rams.

  27. Defense Rules Says:

813bucboi & StPete … Don’t like losing, but I can accept it IF you at least go down fighting. We didn’t … we rolled over & played dead. Only it turns out we weren’t playing dead; we lost. Go back through every 2nd half series bucboi & you’ll see some VERY conservative play-calling starting early in the 3rd quarter. We couldn’t sustain drives, sometimes because of early runs resulting in 3rd-and-longs, sometimes because of screw-ups (INT, penalties?)

But it was going for the FG at the 10 min mark when were ahead by 1 FG that blew my mind. Said right there ‘Watch, we’re gonna lose by one’. RoJo was on fire, and they brought in Barber. Huh? Only needed 2 yards for a 1st down (we were on the Giants’ 5 yd line at the time) and the Giants run defense was very vulnerable.

The Bucs’ defense gave up 4 big plays IMO (2 long pass plays, 2 QB TDs), but played reasonably well otherwise. Yes, even in the 2nd half if you look at each series. Big plays killed them, as they usually do. The Bucs’ offense moved the ball well, especially in the 1st half. And especially through the air. Barber was Barber … plodding, plodding, plodding. RoJo was hot for the most part, but the coaches didn’t capitalize on that enough. Special teams still has me shaking my head … too young & leader-less.

Jameis’ passing has improved each game. We can’t neuter him without also neutering ME13, Godwin, OJ & Brate. There’s only one way to find out IF he’s got what it takes to be the Bucs’ QB going forward … LET IT FLY. FIRE IN THE HOLE!!! And if Jameis turns out to be the ‘loose cannon on the deck’ then get a new cannon next year. But don’t go down without putting up a great fight. And that’s what happened Sunday.

  28. 813bucboi Says:

    DR

we “tried” going down fighting VS the 9ers and look what happened……picks by JW….

we scaled it back and won…..

JW played great right until he missed ME wide open…..i dont know about you but even i was scared as hell to let JW throw again…..

i dont think they were playing scared but playing smart….

you want to risk JW throwing a pick….or having a strip sack…..or a fumble by ROJO?…..

the kicker just missed the kick…..

fire in the hole=blowing up in your face…..

    GO BUCS!!!!!!

  29. 813bucboi Says:

    DR

but i do agree we shouldve went for it at the 10min mark….

still a lot of football left….

    GO BUCS!!!!!
