About The Camera Angles

September 12th, 2019

Changed camera angles.

People are getting dizzy watching the Bucs-Stinking Panthers game tonight. There is a reason for that.

Due to lightning in the Charlotte area, St. Petersburg-born Joe Buck, the play-by-play announcer for the game broadcast on NFL Network and produced by FOX, said per FOX broadcast safety standards, the cameramen cannot work the game so the FOX production crew has to rely on the two overhead cable cameras to broadcast the game.

That is why you think you are watching a video game.

And as Stinking Panthers coach Riverboat Ron Rivera found out the hard way, good luck with any instant replay review with only two cameras working.

Yes, Joe knows it is somewhat hypocritical that the players can play but cameramen cannot work due to safety.

Buck had the gall to essentially tell fans to stay off of Twitter and quit complaining. You know, you unwashed will watch the game, and like it!

Joe Buck is a good announcer but you have to wonder if he would be where he is today if not for his dad Jack. Jack Buck was so damn good on KMOX back in the days of listening to clear channel AM radio and I bet he had some great stories about some legendary Cards as well as Harry Carey and why he left St Louis!
