Is Jameis OK?

July 28th, 2019

Joe hopes this is nothing, but late in practice today America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, was not moving with the pep he usually does and multiple times he was standing awkwardly as seen in Joe’s photo above.

It was odd.

Bucco Bruce Arians said Jameis had another consistent and good session at One Buc Palace. (Joe’s assessment of Jameis through three practices clashes with Arians’, but that’s ok).

Oh yeah! he’s ok… He just needs to find what he is good at in life and stick to that because QB is NOT it!… LoL

  2. Destinjohnny Says:

Jameis is who he is. Not a bust not elite
    #23rd best
    Tua…….

  3. Tampabuscsbro Says:

@Destinjohnny No one is asking for Winston to be an Elite Quarterback just a franchise man.

  4. Pelbuc61 Says:

    Total bust!

  5. Wallace Says:

Looks like he has to pee

  6. Resha white Says:

Ok now your on Jamis Winston… can we let the season play out dang man! We might as well pack it in and not show up the way you guys talk

  7. Bird Says:

Yah. I don’t know if it’s the camera angle or not but he does appear to be standing awkward.
Hope that’s not a big deal like Donovan smith Achilles

Blaine gabbert is not a starter.

  8. Destinjohnny Says:

Bucs bro what do u have against having a really really good quarterback?
Not trying to be a smart A but just wondering?

  9. TonyC Says:

Dirk Koetter ruined this guy. Arians is going to have to manage him like McVeigh did with Goff.

  10. B-Rad Says:

You are just going to continue on till there’s is something. I never seen someone that is looking for something bad to happen.

  11. OneBuc55 Says:

I agree with the earlier post, it does look like he needs to use the bathroom…just holding it tryin to make it through practice…

  12. Buc1987 Says:

    Jameis will be fine.

  13. Bird Says:

It sounds like Vea and Suh had a dominant day in pads ! Unblockable was the term used.

    Good to hear

  14. JimmyJack Says:

Would love to hear Winston was tearing apart Bowles defense.

I’m only slightly concerned about the struggles so far. He has about ten days to get it straight then get back on the field. If Winston is struggling it will show up then. It will be exciting to watch Winston respond to this!

    GO BUCS!!!!

  15. Bryan Says:

I think Johnny Football is available Joe! lol!

  16. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

Maybe this is a good sign for the season & jameis is bad at beginning and picks it up in september

  18. I Bleed Pewter Says:

On another note, our offensive line today was offensive. Seems the really good teams in our division spend premium draft picks on good lineman and it shows. We like to pluck Division III guys and pretend they are diamonds in the rough. What’s with Dotson? Dude can’t bend at the knees well anymore. He’s rigid and stiff.

  19. Jeffbuc Says:

Wallace that is exactly what I thought of when looking at this pic. He was doing the pee pee dance. Joe you should web md what does it mean when a boy starts rubbing his legs together and moving awkwardly. Drama sells so just say he looked like he was favoring his groin. He left practice briefly and came back out and looked like the groin problem had alleviated itself.

Nervous over the signing of Testaverde

  21. Fire Goodell Says:

With those interceptions he’s throwing at practice, does it mean he’s real bad or the defense is real good?

  22. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

He threw a lot of picks in practice against Mike Smiths soft d

    Its who he is

  23. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

That horrid OL is going to get destroyed by every DL in the South, falcons draft 1st rounders from D-1 schools bucs take fliers on D3 guys… the day licht leaves and bucs get a competent GM & new unis the bucs will be back. PS arians is a pretty bad talent evaluator if you look at the cards waste of #1s

  24. Magadude Says:

Still true to form. Pick-machine. Finally getting some consistency.

  25. Willy Smith Says:

I think he has a couple of screws lose.

  26. BringBucsBack Says:

Maybe it’s just the result of all of the time he has spent on his footwork the last 2+ years.

  27. Pittsshore Says:

Joe is starting get it. JW is not intelligent enough to make decisions under pressure….and this is practice.

  28. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Some of you are such losers, lol. If that offends you? It’s probably you.

  29. Buc4evr Says:

Maybe Jameis is bummed out because the Bucs just signed Vinnie Testaverde?

  30. Oneilbucs Says:

Destin why do you say Tua ? That’s just another school were you don’t draft a quarterback . They have never had a quarterback that made it in the NFL since the 60s . But don’t worry Jamies will be leaving after this year regardless if he plays well. See you are another person who don’t know nothing about football. Why should Jamies or any other quarterback have to win all the games with out a team ??

  31. D1 Says:

    Oneilbucs,

I think Tua is just a name for most folks. I don’t believe the bucs should suck for Tua as some seem to advocate. Good point with the history of Bama QB’S. I’m assuming you have Kenny Stabler as the last player.

  32. Maddog Says:

Train wreck, either that or are defense turned into the 2000 Ravens

  33. Joe Says:

I don’t believe the bucs should suck for Tua as some seem to advocate.

If that was the case, not only wouldn’t Jameis be here, neither would Arians. So this is sort of like hoping for Tony Dorsett in his prime showing up at One Buc for a tryout.

Good point with the history of Bama QB’S. I’m assuming you have Kenny Stabler as the last player.

    Not Richard Todd???

  34. D1 Says:

    @Joe,

Onielbucs said the 60 s . Richard Todd was the 70’s, I believe, so I guess He didn’t make the cut.

Joe maybe you can clarify something as it relates to the Tua plan.
Did the team deliberately lose a game to secure the first pick and draft Winston?

  35. Pete I Says:

Richard Todd’s NFL career wasn’t all that great.

On a basic level, NO Jameis is not OK, never has been. That said, it is way to early to worry about Winston. Time will tell if the Bucs are spinning their wheels for another year.

  36. adam from ny Says:

omg jameis loos like he is holding in a giant diarrhea or got cracked in the sack…let the man sit or sh*t…

    #ToKillAyeMockingbird

  37. adam from ny Says:

    looks*

  38. Bucsfanman Says:

He’s pinching! Looks like a “Code Brown” to me!

  39. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

Joe – BA said, “we had guys that crapped in their pants today.” Jameis was standing awkwardly because he ones one of those guys.

  40. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

Two biggest lies that will continue to kick us in the teeth. 1. Winston is “America’s QB. 2. Winston will take us to a Super Bowl. I hate being lied to.

  41. mizzle813 Says:

YOO LMAO EVERYONE CALM DOWN. YOU HAVE BEEN WATCHING JAMEIS GO AGAINST A TERRIBLE DEFENSE IN CAMP FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS. JUST BECAUSE NOW WE HAVE A COMPETENT DC AND PLAYERS THIS YEAR AND THEY HAVE THE UPPER HAND BEGINNING OF CAMP DOESN’T MEAN JAMEIS SUCKS! SHEESH EVERYONE TAKE A CHILL PILL!!

  42. Cmack Says:

Bottom line..winston’s success will depend on the o line and running game! He has to be less clumsy with the ball!
