  1. Barack's Crack Pipe Says:

9, because I am putting a lot of unwarranted and misguided faith in the new coaching staff. But that’s what we do this time of year.

Tmax voted 4 times already! šŸ˜

  2. DB55 Says:

16-0 baby now that there’s no more ice cream.

  3. Bucsfanman Says:

You stole my thunder DB, except for the ice cream part of course! 16-DASH-0!!!

  4. Francisco Menendez Says:

The correct answer is 7. We will likely see an improvement in all players just as a result of the coaching, and culture change, but the schedule, as always, is brutal. 7 wins I believe would be a fair, if anything positive estimate. Wins will come early and late, but you can always count on that mid-season 5 game losing streak. Go Bucs!!!

  5. DBS Says:

DQ55 still mad he wouldn’t buy any from his store.

  6. TOM EDRINGTON Says:

Sounds like those above 7 should go load up the “over” in Vegas.

  7. Tye Says:

    4-12
    last in division
    basement of the league
    bottom of the NFC
    top 5 pick 2020

  8. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Anyone who thinks they have ane answer for this is thinking with thwir hearts. Too soon to be sure.

    #ShowMe-Don’tTellMe

  9. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Thinking with you heart is okay. Just not realistic. To the good or bad.

  10. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

40% (as of right now) voted “winning season” (9 or more)…..delusional.

  11. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Sorry. Typing on the go. Small screen.

  12. Ghost of Darrell Henderson Says:

    9……. I’m smoking Barack’s crackpipe.

  13. Loungemane Says:

I predict us skidding to 9-6 after a strong start to the season, then having a dramatic season closer that boosts us up to 10-6 after a 2 game losing streak. And honestly, going 10-6 is hope enough that weā€™ll be on the right track.

  14. Buczilla Says:

I have reverted back to the mentality that I had during the creamsicle days. Until they prove they can win, I’m going with a losing record.

  15. Army_bucs_fan Says:

At best with this schedule and the new coaching staff I see us winning 7 which is an improvement and that is all that matters.

  16. 813bucboi Says:

    10-6

    talent will win us 4games…
    coaching will win us 4games…
    we’ll get lucky twice….

    GO BUCS!!!!

  17. Defense Rules Says:

Agree with Bonzai that it’s too early to tell, but 8-8 is probably a respectable mid-point prediction. BA essentially broke even for his last 2 years in Arizona with less talent.

  18. Totally Exonerated Says:

    5.

With this oline, Buccos urge to go deep and Jameis’ lack of accuracy on the deep balls. And at the worst timing possible Suh will kick a guy in the dong and cost us a game. 5

  19. RustyRhinos Says:

8 is what I hope to see in the W column at seasons end. Sweep our division and win two other games. But be in each and every game on the scoreboard. While letting every team we play start spreading the word. The guys mean business, they do hit you in the mouth every single play, Offense & Defense relentlessly all sixty minutes. Easy wins against them do not happen anymore. You will still feel them on Wednesday and Thursday after playing them on Sunday.

Yes all with a grain of salt.
Show me don’t tell me, SHOW ME!
    GO BUCS!!!

  20. D-Rome Says:

6-10 while anchored in Buccaneer Cove.

  21. JimmyJack Says:

11-5………I bumped up my 10-6 prediction once Gerald went to Carolina. Now we will sweep them………Funny thing is this will be the first time Gerald helped is win.

  22. SteveK Says:

    5 wins.

5-11 each of the last two years.

Concerned that we lose 11 games this year. Also concerned that Jameis doesnā€™t ascend into a ā€œfranchiseā€ (in the top16 of the league) quarterback and we are left with the fourth best QB in the division.

I hope we win 11 games and Winston carries us to the post season, but I just donā€™t see it happening based off of his prior body of work: 4 years in the league.

Itā€™s year 5, and heā€™s the former number one overall pick. Time to get it together!

  23. Dusthty Rhothdes Says:

I got them at 6-10, had them 6-10 last year and 7-9 year before so Im guessing that may mean they go to 4-12. But this team has way to many question marks from coaching to the players on the team. Jameis in a similar offense with the same junk OL glad he beefed up

  24. ManzielMadness Says:

    6-10, not enough talent.

  25. DB55 Says:

    Bucs

    Great minds think alike

  26. Mike Johnson Says:

Still a little to early.I’m sayin 8 wins. And that would be a big improvement.
IF….they get the D line right though..Watch out. You gotta have more than just a few blitzes. Teams got somethin for that. Still concerned about the pass rush.

  27. Jackpc1 Says:

Those of you who predicted 9 or more wins…which games will the Bucs win?

I am having a hard time coming up with four wins (49ers, Giants, Cardinals and Lions – 3 H 1 A).

    Five is a stretch (Jaguars ? A, Falcons H ?).

  28. Morgus the Magnificent Says:

FIFTY NINE PERCENT say WINNING RECORD????? Gawdddammmmmmmm……..collectively low football IQ, indeed !!!

  29. Clw JB Says:

    49ers
    Giants
    Cardinals
    Jags
    Lions
    split 3-3 in division

    8-8 IMO

Texans could be the 9th win….

  30. Clw JB Says:

    I voted twice…8 the first time….then 9…my be 7 after a couple more vodka n soda’s!!

  31. Buccaneerscotty Says:

    Alot of koolaid drinkers lol

  32. Wesley Says:

9 wins lol come on people take your Bucs glasses off.

  33. Magadude Says:

Well, we know the only people who voted are those who visit this site. It’s a good assumption they are a Bucs fan in some way, shape or form. And at least right now, less than half of those fans think the Bucs will have a winning season. And I think they are realistic. I’m in the 4 win variety myself. That all said, how do you think those people are who not Bucs fans think? Safe bet a a good % (a third%) guessing) have no clue/don’t care or think about it at all, maybe another third of those left are fans of other teams and take the position probably most in the country take (e.g, the Bucs are a joke), and the rest maybe for a winning season and losing season. Bottom line is those we presume know the team the best think they will be under .500, while others are mostly disnterested. I know there are some assumptions, but not unreasonable to expect.

  34. Magadude Says:

Wins: CAR. ARI, @Jax, ATL for 4-12 overall

Possible but doubt it: NYG, HOU. 6-10.

  35. Doctor Stroud Says:

These predictions might be assuming that the starters will play all 16 games, but we all know that unpredictable “mysterious” injuries have been an integral part of the team’s losing culture during the last several years.

  36. Figures Says:

Well itā€™s good to know how utterly stupid most of you are.

Complete morons and idiots running amuck on this site.

10-6? Wow how stupid can you people be?

    6-10 is more like it.

This team hasnā€™t proven a dam thing to believe they can be any better than that. Some of you morons live in la la land.

  37. JimmyJack Says:

    11-5

  38. JimmyJack Says:

Figures you are attacking fans that are optimistic? This bothers you for exactly which reason?…………You got issues bro.

As far as reasons go why we are optimistic I will name just a few. VitaV, D.White, M.Evans, O.J., Suh, P.Barber, Marpet, L.David, Winston, Godwin, Brate, the death of the Tampa2, new leadership, new era & the QB whisperer.

  39. JimmyJack Says:

    11wins 5losses

  40. donuts Says:

6-10. Cruel schedule + better coaching = +1 win over 2018. Winston will be the wildcard as to their ability to reach 8-8 in 2019.

  41. SteveK Says:

Breaks my heart to think we will only win 5 games next year. I am not sure we are better talented than last year, and I am very cautious about Jameis. I hope he balls out, but if there is inconsistent play this year we are in trouble.

I hope the defense, kicker and running game improve and most of all I hope my QB takes advantage of the rules in the league today, and balls the hell out in a contract year.

Jameis works his ass off, no doubt, itā€™s a Bucs life if he can catch fire.

With that said, I hope Jameis ascends into a top notch QB and gets his fat contract.

  42. SteveK Says:

5-11= no 2nd contract, and no Licht?

  43. DBS Says:

6-10. And there will be more excuses than Carter has pills.

  44. Bucsfanman Says:

    16-DASH-0!
I choose optimism. I mean, what’s the point if you’re going in to the season going, “Oh, you’re all idiots, the Bucs are 5-11 at best!”
    Why watch?!
Why bother being a fan?! You do know what fan is short for, right?! FAN-atic!

Again, I choose optimism. Why make yourself miserable?

  45. D-Rome Says:

Bucsfanman, you’re what they call in the wrestling business a mark. If you really believe they’re going 16-0 then you’re a chump. In wrestling, the promoters count on chumps like you to keep forking over cash because you believe that what you’re seeing is real. It’s no different with the Glazers. They do just enough to make you believe that things will be different this time around, and in turn the marks get excited for the season and are more willing to fork over more cash for a losing product.

If you truly believe they’re going 16-0 then you should either buy season tickets or upgrade your season tickets because you can **easily** make your money back and then some on season tickets if they went 16-0. If you sold a few games including a playoff game you’d make money. The Bucs would be one of the hottest tickets in the country. It’s a no-brainer move for a team destined for glory but you won’t do it because you don’t believe it for a second. Optimism is cheap. Put your money where your mouth is.

  46. Bucsfanman Says:

D-Rome- Now, I know you’ve seen my posts enough to know that:
    A. I ain’t no “chump” and
    B. I wouldn’t bet YOUR money on the Bucs being 16-0.

Just trying to stay positive bro!

  47. Buccfan37 Says:

Call it the JBF preseason guesses of doom.

  48. Tom S. Says:

Imagine you go to work each day to the same place you’ve been at for 11 years. Every year the job sucks and disappoints everyone who is there. In year 12 you come across these dumb coworkers who proudly proclaim that even though the ownership, the CEO and most of your coworkers are the same this will be a great year to work for the company and they can’t wait to see how great it will be.

You can hopefully see why the less delusional Bucs fans take some issue with the padded-wall fans proclamation.
