The Tradition Continues

Brings Bucs tradition to Carolina.
He may wear those pukey Carolina blue colors and he may play for a division rival but former Bucs stud defensive tackle Gerald McCoy is not a changed man.
When playing for the Bucs, GMC made it a tradition to have an ice cream truck show up on the last day of minicamp and all Bucs players and coaches got free ice cream treats, all on GMC’s dime. The tradition died this year when GMC was released — talk about a lack of team leaders not picking up the slack!
Let’s just say GMC brought his tradition to the Stinking Panthers. Today, as minicamp ended for Carolina, GMC sprung for an ice cream truck and he bought all his new teammates snow cones and other frozen treats.

Actually Gerald’s deal is $7M. $4m signing bonus and $3M salary.
LTBE incentives bump it up to about $8 or maybe $8.5M.

Was he wearing his Batman Mask and Cape? Seriously, while I was at the draft when he was drafted, and liked him when was here, I dont care about any of it as long as we have had two winning season since 2008, and no playoffs since 2007. It doesn’t matter, its white noise. Lets start winning again, and Ill care about how he was treated, and who is wearing his number. As long as we have 53 players who look like out of shape tackling dummies then I could care less how he or anyone else is treated. Coach needs to bring a big stick to the team.

@Bucsace…sad but true. I can recall more signature Kwon Alexander games than i can signature GMC games….and Kwon played less than half as many games and was a more than a little flawed as a player (tackling, assignments, availability)

I dont hate GMC at all, but I am starting to hate that for the first time ever one of the Joe’s is really letting his pettiness ooze all over this once well run and written website. All you do is bitch or troll or hate on every article. I know the bucs have sucked for years but your constant optimism is why I have been a loyal reader since the beginning. This whole my team sucks vibe is really getting old.
