I was lucky to shake Steve’s hand after the draft party at Ray Jay when the Bucs drafted Mike Evans. I approached him as he was leaving and said “Hey Steve, I am a huge fan!”, he smiled slightly as if he wanted to go home.

Well done, Todd. It was an amazing event…..I invited Liz to join me and told her I did not know what to expect. Halfway through told her that I want fun stories to be told at MY memorial one day….I just hope it is way off. Steve was 2 years younger than me and that is tough.
By the way we walked in an immediately saw M Alstott about 6 feet away and i spoke to him for a few min and when he walked way her eyes were as big as half dollars!! Haaaa
