  1. DBS Says:

Cooper is not the super stars choking on the ice or in the net. This under size speed game gets shut down every year. And Vasy chokes. This year after the break the team had to score 5 points because Vasy was giving up 3,4 and 5 points. These super stars are great in regular season but blow in the playoffs. Time to get some size and muscle here. Mean players and change the style of game.

  2. DBS Says:

The other thing about this team. At least they area not losers and can get back to the playoffs. I just won’t drink anymore Kook Aid.

  3. Herb Says:

“Won’t Get Fooled Again” by the Who might be appropriate music for this team.

I’m noticing Pittsburgh got swept. Boston is in trouble. Washington might lose and Calgary is barley hanging on.

I was hoping Lalonde and Richards might be the difference makers in the playoffs, but its looking like the real problem is with the players. An overhaul in defense is needed. Stralman, Coburn and Sergachev have to go…and maybe Girardi too.

I don’t think it could be any more obvious Stamkos is not a Stanley Cup capable player.

I wanna say thank you to Johnson, Palat, Cirelli and Point for their efforts in this series. They just didn’t get much support from anyone else on the team.

Is Cooper capable of learning from these playoff losses? I’m not sure.

Herb, good points; Calgary is out also BTW, another shocker as I thought the Avs were an easy mark. First time both number one seeds got run in the opening round. I do not know which feels worse for a die-hard Bolts fan; losing in 7 in the conference final like last year or in 2011 to the Bruins, losing to Chicago back in 2015 in the Cup or what happened this past week…… Anyhow, I always like Tortarella so good luck to him in the playoffs now that I do not have a dog in the fight anymore and it’d be fun to see an 8 seed run it all the way to the finals but that probably is not gonna happen……
