What Is C.J. Mosley Trying To Say?

March 12th, 2019

Prefers warmer climate?

UPDATED 8:02 a.m. – Joe isn’t sure how to decipher this but it seems that stud free agent linebacker C.J. Mosley has had it with playing in a cold-weather city.

In an Instagram Stories video captured by Barstool Sports either at the end of February or on March 1 (Instagram Stories videos vanish 24 hours after publishing), Mosley recorded in a snowfall. In a very NSFW rant, it appears he is daring the Crows, his last team, not to franchise him (or not to re-sign him) and let him test the free agent waters because, well, Baltimore is not Atlanta or Alabama or Los Angeles or Florida.

Is this a sign that Mosley prefers his next NFL employer to be located on the west coast or the Sunbelt?

You be the judge, but be *very* careful and if you are at work or around little ones or your grandparents, please use your headphones.

As far as Mosley and the Bucs, you damn right the Bucs should sign him. Of course that may mean the end of Gerald McCoy in Tampa Bay. At this point in their careers, who can have a bigger impact on the team, 26-year-old, four-time Pro Bower Mosley or GMC?

UPDATE: Mosely signed minutes ago with the New York Jets.

Didn’t he already agree to terms with the Jets?

    When you’re a Jet
You’re a Jet all the way
    From your first cigarette
    To your last dyin’ day
When you’re a Jet so hes a jet and loves the cold

  3. CitruscountyBUC Says:

  4. Kalind Says:

  5. Kalind Says:

Good news. They also signed Barr….Josh Allen to ya???

  6. Bird Says:

    He is with jets ?

    It’s warm there for 4 -5 months a year

  7. CitruscountyBUC Says:

I guess 5yr $85mil will warm him up

  8. Bird Says:

    Yup

    Money talks

He is complaining about cold weather and then gets 17 mil a year deal.
I would play in Siberia for 17 mil a year

  9. thunderchunkyPA Says:

Well the deals for D Smith and Marpet seem like a theft at this point. Also, the 13 Mil for GMC doesn’t seem so out of place either. I just wonder about other players like Unrein, Gholston, and B Allen.

Professionals don’t express themselves on “Instaface”. WWBD! What would Belacheat do?

  11. SB Says:

Well, smart money now says White is the pick at 5

  12. Bird Says:

    Yup

Get Devin white. The kid can flat out ball
Worth top 5 too. Especially in 3/4. Middle linebacker most important on field.

  13. AlteredEgo Says:

    Make the swap….

  14. Bucsfanman Says:

SB- Agreed, and it makes sense.

  15. Bird Says:

17 mil for an inside linebacker. That’s just crazy.

Luke Keukly is licking his chops right now

  16. EvolvingBucsfan Says:

New York, the tropical warm year round state…..lol…..17 mil can make any state a paradise.

  17. Bird Says:

I think the days of letting a good player “test the market” in free agency are over.

If you want to keep a guy then get a deal done.
With teams at 100 mil in cap space , someone will overpay and throw stupid money out there.

I will say this …nfl guys are modern day gladiators and deserve to be paid the most.

  18. ncbucsfan Says:

Devin White may be the pick but that isn’t the “smart” pick at all! Idk what realm of logic is being used to assume that at all! Devin Whites highlights are impressive I admit, but his game film leaves ALOT to be desired. He is a “see ball get ball” type of linebacker that blitzes like a maniac, but gets engulfed by blockers way too often due to counters and misdirections and I would say thats due to either a lack of instincts or film preparation. He is also very average is pass coverage. He is more of a strongside LB than a Mike or Will. And if Kendall Beckwith returns that would be a complete waste of a top 5 pick. Devin White is NOT the answer! Especially if two QBs are taken before us.

Perhaps this will end all the malarky about our advantage because of our tax structure! N.J. is right behind Mass and NY when it comes to taxes.

At the end of the day it’s the $$$ that count.

My sister was fortunate enough to marry a Cardiologist back home in N. Ky. So one year at our annual return for Thanksgiving she couldn’t stop whining about having to pay $250,000 in taxes. To which I replied but yeah with a 33% rate either your accountant is an idiot or you guys ended up with a half million last year.

It was the latter but she still wasn’t satisfied believing they “deserved” more. This is the truly serious problem in our nation. Enough is NEVER enough! And the old “Noblesse Oblige” that held true through my early youth in the 50’s…where wealthy people felt fortunate and realized the need for them to help the less fortunate started disappearing in the 70’s and was totally destroyed by the greed of the 80’s.

This is the hard part of the football season for me. Watching folks talk about players whining over missing out on more millions when they already earn millions. I do not absolve the owners. They whine to the taxpayers and make us pay for THEIR facilities.

I guess if you’re Gordon Gecko of “Wall St.” fame it’s cool.
    Greed is good right.

  20. Phil Says:

I thought he signed with the Jets.

  21. Not there yet Says:

If Q Williams & Allen are gone white should be the pick but how often does licht go with the obvious pick or even take the best player?

  22. 813bucboi Says:

the first pick has to be dline….point blank period!!!!!!!

draft vosean joseph in the 4th round…..

    REALISTKNOWSNOTHING!!!!!!….GO BUCS!!!!!

  23. ncbucsfan Says:

Dline is deep and there will be some studs in the 2nd rd.

If we stay at #5…..Quinnen,….. if he’s gone, trade back if possible, take Cody Ford to play RG or Christian Wilkins. CB has to be addressed early as well.

  24. unbelievable Says:

    Bummer.

What destroyed it was TAXES. Charity, especially in the churches, used to be the safety net. Then the government gto involved. Now, less money goes to charity because people don’t have it to give like they used to. The government wastes (or steals) most of what they take, and most of it never reaches the purpose they told us it was for.

The government has no business being the charity arm of humanity, because frankly, they don’t care. People care. When taxes are cut, charitable giving goes up. Get rid of the IRS and return us to Constitutional monetary policy, and the poor will be looked after again like they used to be.

    Just my opinion. 🙂

I know you’re a good dude, St Pete. But your party has left you. Come toward the light! [Poltergeist reference] I can’t tell you what name I used to use, cause I might get banned again! LOL

PS: the 80s were a decade of growth. Real greed is what you see today. Bankster and tech monopolies and nobody in the corrupt Congress or Justice department even thinking about enforcing our anti-trust laws. Nobody is protecting the people. And all of the technocrat and and bankster monopolists are all leftist totalitarian bullies. Nobody should ever have their speech silenced. That is a liberal philosophy. CLASSICAL liberalism protects human and civil rights. Today’s “liberals” are totalitarians. I know you see it.

Wow. Please excuse that rant. I’ve good a good buzz going, and my mind is full of stuff to say!
