Secondary Beat Up

November 30th, 2018

Injury report update.

The final injury report for Sunday’s game with the Stinking Panthers was released, and man is the secondary a M*A*S*H unit.

The Bucs have two corners that have been declared out for Sunday, and a third is listed as questionable.

Rookies Carlton Davis and M.J. Stewart have been declared out for Sunday. They each have a knee and foot injury, respectively.

Brent Grimes is listed as questionable. He also has a knee injury and did not participate in practice today.

A third Bucs player has been declared out as well. Right tackle Demar Dotson will be in street clothes Sunday with a knee and a hamstring injury.

Every Stinking Panthers player is expected to suit up against the Bucs, with the possible exception of wide receiver Devin Funchess, who is listed as questionable with a bad back/non-injury.

  7. Pittsshore Says:

Every NFL team has a beat up team at this point of the season.

  8. danr Says:

apparently you didnt read that every panther is going to play. except maybe funchess.

  9. orlbucfan Says:

Notice Whitehead is starting. Plus all the boyz on the defensive line. Bucs FINALLY have a placekicker. We can beat Panthers Sunday. Our pffense is much better than theirs.

  10. JimmyJack Says:

The injurys put more responsibility on the Dline. Our Front will have to match what they did last week. If they don’t it will be a big fat Blowout!!

  11. SOEbuc Says:

Who’s gonna be starting RT? Benenoch I’m assuming? Was it Leidtke that was playing lights at OT in preseason after always being a guard? I think it was. But no worries. Koetter always knows the wrong guy to start.

  12. Anonymous Says:

Every win from here on out is useless. We are playing for draft pick now
I’m sure Winston will ball out like he miraculously gets it because his ass is on the line. To little to late if you ask me. He should have been more of a game manager all along. He’s not a elite qb with his tendency to turn the ball over

  13. it's only just begun Says:

4-12 has a familiar tune, as we get closer to ringing in the new year, we should not be surprised at such a mediocre feat, we should embrace it as our heritage, our team mantra, ever since the man who brought respectability and relevance was jettisoned from one buc place, and replaced by the dark side, the man who has a propensity and reputation to tear a team apart, the all narcissistic one, thee evil darth gruden, but alas there has been fluctuations in the force over the decade plus, an up and coming raheem who’s young apprentice Jfro then young’ry and proud had delighted his master with ten wins, only to fall to the enchantress mons venus, and her seductive wares, both the jedi and his master subdued and would eventually succumb to the dark lord schiano, who’s great vessel executor flamed out, as the inhabitants of hillsborough demanded, yes we then turned to an old friend when all hope was lost, those recording this historic feat called it a lovie fest, but the old jedi was impotent and had a light saber thrust thru his back, from the licht bearer obi wan jason, and we are hear once again listless in space, grasping for a hero, where is our millennium falcon, and the solo one who will bring us back to the force, and the defense of old, who can right our wounded warrior, winston the all baman, and bring unity thru out the kingdom, may the force be with us!

  14. adam from ny Says:

cam said he’s gonna “tip toe thru the tulips” right into the end zone on this bucs defense – he said it on carolina radio today

and said “he’s got no respect for these washed up chuckaneers”

    jpp and nassib…get this mofo!!!

  15. James Walker Says:

At least we will get a better draft pick. This season is toast.

  16. sandwichman Says:

Yeah Moore and Cam is gonna have a field day! And lest not forget McCaffrey! Might be a long Sunday afternoon

  17. tmaxcon Says:

dotson being out is a good thing

hopefully, Jameis plays well and the defense gives up 50 after all it’s always 3’s fault.

  18. jjbucfan Says:

BTW BSPN reporting KC released Kareem Hunt, are you f-ing kidding?

  19. Nick Says:

@jjbuccfan. I just heard that too. How could we not do that waiver claim. I doubt he makes it through 6 other teams though.

That being said, look how a first class organization doesn’t tolerate a star player lying about it. What does that remind me of Jameis? That being said, I’m still hoping he can turn it around.

  20. Tvan1011 Says:

Please go pick up Kareem hunt and keep him throughout whatever suspension he gets holy crap.

  21. Chris Cotten Says:

Get Kareem Hunt now off waivers, he’s probably innocent

  22. Jmarkbuc Says:

If you’v seen the video you’ll know he’s not innocent. He’s about to be ray riced

  23. Guzzie Says:

23 year old top 10 RB, yes please

  24. cmurda Says:

Man, I was going to just ask when can we pick up Kareem Hunt on waivers and you guys are all over it already. Well done people. Well done.

  25. cmurda Says:

By the way, I know Ray Rice immediately comes to mind but this wasn’t anywhere near as brutal. Plus, this chick was white. Nobody cares about white chicks. I’m just playing. Seriously though, this will blow over in a few months. NFL suspends him for rest of season and at most 3 or 4 games next year. Get this dude.

  26. TBTemojin Says:

“Ray Riced”???? Big Difference between pushing a random female in Cleveland and Punching your wife in the face, knocking her out.

  27. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Temojin

    We shall see…..

  28. Wesley Says:

This is gonna be an ugly game and I gave to go to it ugh.

  29. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Ray Rice set the baseline….

Push a woman down and then literally kick her when she’s down..ON VIDEO..

    He’s done……

  30. Jmarkbuc Says:

And then there’s this to add to the equation…

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000994111/article/doug-williams-apologizes-for-insensitive-comments

  31. cmurda Says:

Ray Rice is not even comparable. Dude full force punched a chick in the face. This is not a good thing but not even close to the same.

  32. Jmarkbuc Says:

Check how hard Doug Williams backed up in his apology today..re Reuben Foster. That was for slapping a cell phone outta her hand, and shoving her.

Hunt couldn’t have had a worse time for this to come out.

Video of shoving and kicking a white girl in heels..

  33. unbelievable Says:

    Hunt is dunzo….

Until New England or Oakland or someone picks him up….

  34. Jmarkbuc Says:

If you’ve watched the video a couple of times..Big picture, It raises a lot of questions.

WTF did she say that pissed him off enough to F Up, epic-ally…

WTF were you thinking to put your hands on someone? A girl at that.

Give credit to the one dude who snatches the other girls phone, to delete the video she was shooting..forgot about the Hotel video..DOH!

Kick her while she’s dazed and confused from the skull plant in the wall she took?

How does TMZ have more pull than the NFL?

It’s not a R. Rice beat down, but that was way before #MeToo,,

The climate is completely different. Poor Kareem… NO EXCUSE.

  35. FortMyersDave Says:

Guys. Hunt strangled and punched his pregnant girlfriend at Oklahoma State and was on probation for this when KC drafted him. He allegedly also sucker punched some guy this June. This guy makes Talib or Reuben Foster look like GMC…. The Chiefs also put the thug on the commisioner’s exempt list to make sure someone like the Skins Raiders or Bellicheats do not play him this year…. Next year? Well do the Bucs want another headache like Doug Williams has right now in DC? I guess we have to wait and ask the next GM…….

  36. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

Nick- Are you serious? See how a first class organization handles things?
Umm.. ok since some people don’t follow football I’ll tel you. This came out in February, that first class organization and the NFL never investigated this issue or did and tried to sweep it under the rug.
Also the chiefs drafted this guy that punched and choked his pregnant girlfriend, maybe you heard of him…Ty Hill. Oh but he is electric and runs fast so all is forgotten right? Chiefs are sleezy bro, no first class anything.

  37. Alaskan Abdominal Snowman Says:

Ftmeyers Dave- if you are going to put that evil on someone put it where it belongs dude. Hunt went to Toledo genius. You are talking about Hill.

  38. WD40 Says:

FortMyersDave, you’re thinking about Tyreek Hill out of OK State who abused his pregnant girlfriend. Hunt played at Toledo.

  39. Arealbucsfan Says:

Jus watched the video pssh. Bruh really? Drunk ppl jus being stupid. That kick was a nudge. No wind up. Nothin. Violence against women is wrong, but who knows what she was saying. Women are pretty crazy these days. Sign this guy now

  40. FortMyersDave Says:

Alaska and WD40. Thanks for correcting me on that. Too many pops celebrating Washington covering over Utah and the under. Nonetheless my opinion on Hunt still stands and KC did the right thing. Still believe the Bucs new GM would just be asking for trouble with any red flags and that probably includes Winston….. Look at how quickly John Lynch and the SF front office went from Golden Boy to the media giving the guy poor press after the Foster fiasco. Wasnt Lynch the guy who fleeced the Bears to move up one spot????? Now Ira has his work cut out to separate John Lynch the player from Lynch the GM with his HOF voting colleagues….

  41. FortMyersDave Says:

BTW Alaska: Fort Meyers?????? you must really be from Alaska big guy, there is a Fort Myer VA, I knew a few guys I met at Clark that were through there a long time ago, even back before my time in the military in the ’90s and that Patton was stationed there before the big war….. But Fort Meyers, definitely what the Yankmes and Bo Sox reporters use when they cover the spring training. Anyone who uses that spelling is not form Florida for sure!
Anyhow guy from the North: I read your earlier posts about “god help us” blah, blah, blah….. You seem to think the Bucs will lose badly with this depleted secondary so I will give you a game plan to make coin and then come back here on Monday to brag: Open up the piggy bank and go to a certain Vegas website and go offshore (that is where the most generous odds are) and select Carolina -3 and the over for the whole game and if you are daring put your leftover change on the first half line which is about -2 or 2.5 Carolina. For all those who ate lead paint as a kid that means that if Carolina is up by 3 at the half you are a big winner! I suggest this advice to all the other trolls on this board. You come here every day and bash the team, often unreasonably, well put your money where big mouths are at and bet the house. Let me see a line move in the Bucs direction and then I hope you are severely disappointed buyt do not spend the rent money or the kid’s prescription fund please!

BTW: RIP H W Bush aka #41. I did not agree with you politically but you were Commander and Chief when I served and compared to what we have now in the political arena I realize you were not all that bad especially after I witnessed your work with the Katrina disaster. God speed pilot and RIP.
