The Battered Browns Defense

October 19th, 2018

Twice in the past three weeks the Browns have channeled their inner Buccaneers, allowing 45 points to the Raiders in Oakland and 38 to the Chargers in front of the Dawg Pound.

They’re a battered and bruised defense, now down to a third-string cornerback starting. Their starting center is highly questionable, too. Strong video here by the Cleveland.com beat folks.

Don’t worry Cleveland…we got the cure for what ails your QB-WR connection

Its a damn shame we have to hope on injury of another team to have a chance to win.

Atlanta was missing quite a few starters last week didn’t bother them. Also I read in a previous post the Bucs are 1-10 against rookie QB’s since 2011 is that Right?

So what?! We get bit hard by frickin’ Buc Luck (injuries, etc.) every year! Cleveland isn’t a cupcake anymore. They are slowly turning things around. I just want to see a halfway decent, non-senile gameplan drawn up for our defense for a change!!

If that is true (and it wouldn’t surprise me if it is), then THAT is what should be posted on the locker of every single defensive player.

“1 – 10 against rookie QBs” in giant fkn letters!

Seriously. That is beyond pathetic. Inexcusable. You want some motivation, put that in front of every defensive players’ face. Rub it in.

Their 3’rd string corners are still better than the Bucs’. The Buc O line better be ready or they’re going to get smoked.
