Ryan Jensen May Not Play

September 24th, 2018

On injury report.

Talk about a kick to the groin.

Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com just Twittered out alarming news. The Bucs may be without their ornery center Ryan Jensen tonight when they face the Steelers.

Per Smith, Jensen is sick as he came down with an illness and is now listed on the injury report as questionable.

This just blows chunks.

Get the guy an IV and get him some fluids, Tylenol and get him out there. Buy him a puke bucket if need be. Jensen is extra valuable tonight as guy intimately familiar with the Steelers defense as a member of the Ravens last year.

  2. Boogie Nightz Says:

Week 3 continues to get stranger. WTF? Anywho, I am sure he will pull through. This game is too important to miss. Somebody cast Curaga on him ASAP! GO BUCS!!!!

  3. Boogie Nightz Says:

BTW @Joe where did you get this picture? lol

  4. ARGH_M8E Says:

  6. Slugglife Says:

There is no way that man beast misses this game.

Get some rest big man. We need you.

  7. Buc believer Says:

I truly believe he will play. He is to much of a stud to let a little sickness stop him! Who do you think he is? GMC?

  8. Jmarkbuc Says:

    Questionable= good to go…

  9. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    Oh noooooooooooo!!!!!!

    ….. we suck again!!!!!!! (waterboy)

  10. Defense Rules Says:

Let’s see, Evan Smith moves over to center, Caleb Benenoch plays the whole game instead of rotating in & out, and everyone else hunkers down in-place. What could possibly go wrong?

  11. Bird Says:

    Yah right !

The dude is a warrior. No way he sits. Maybe he can puke on one of the opposing lineman.

  12. SOEbuc Says:

Jensen is a man beast eating pitbull. He’s not gonna let some allergies playing against his former rival keep him out of the game. Good to go.

  13. Defense Rules Says:

Interesting BTW Joe, that when our OLine loses ONE GUY, everyone heads for cover because the sky is falling. ONE GUY out from our entire offense. Woe is us.

But when the DLine loses THREE GUYS (ALLEN, UNREIN & VEA) & our LBs/Secondary lose several others, a chant goes up in Bucsville … “NEXT MAN UP; SMITTY & HIS DEFENSE SUCK”. Come on offense, suck it up and put a BUNCH of points on the board tonight. You’re the healthy ones … LOTS of points, No turnovers, Control the clock tonight and play COMPLIMENTARY FOOTBALL by capitalizing on any turnovers OUR defense generates. No excuses.

    Oh I dunno….. Maybe

    – DeSean Jackson spraining his calf walking to the locker room
    – Ali Marpet spraining his calf walking to the locker room

I mean seriously guys….. Whutz up with all these weird issues keeping players out??????

I feel like Fitz is gonna break his sprained ankle tonight 😕

  15. AlteredEgo Says:

Monken lost his voice….Koetter will be calling plays…..

  16. Ugandan Knuckles Says:

    @Boogie Nightz
He’s sick, not injured. He needs Esuna, not Curaga.

  17. Jeff Says:

  18. Boogie Nightz Says:

    @Ugandan Knuckles

Good catch man. I forgot about Esuna lol.

LMFAO how did you get the NOOOO’s to go off screen?

  19. Lord Cornelius Says:

Illness is about the best injury report possible – not that it’s good – but we know he’s absolutely fine long term right now at least.

  20. orlbucfan Says:

How about an Arena Football score: 54-45 Bucs (or better)? 🙂

  21. Skywalker Says:

Unless he caught Ebola I think he will be their to play tonight

  22. Skywalker Says:

I’ve been in a similar situation where I got the flu and didn’t think I would be able to preform and to my surprise it was my best game I’ve ever had. He is a tough dude. Let him lay down in the locker room or a quiet corner undisturbed until kickoff then unleash the beast!

  23. 813bucboi Says:

the defense, dline in particular has more/better depth than the oline…..same with the secondary…..grimes goes down and we still a 2nd round pick in….or ryan smith who has gotten tons of PT over the years…..God forbid but if 1 of our tackles goes down, whos replacing them?…an UDFA? or a player from a D2 school?……

with all the depth and talent smitty has now, he still needs to tighten up…..

  24. 813bucboi Says:

I agree…I think he plays tonight and we wont notice a difference in his attitude…..

Im with you….in college i got sick after a win vs Hampton back in Daytona beach and thought i wouldn’t be able to play at home vs south Carolina state…..we lost but i had a good game….recorded a force fumble….teammates were giving me hell because they thought i was just trying to get out of practice….lol….

  25. kelley rose Says:

the man will play… they are just playing mind games with pit…

  26. Godeep66 Says:

    He will play.

  27. Jean Lafitte Says:

This team and half of it’s fans just can’t seem to handle the success. Figures that whatever can happen, will happen. If players were truly committed to winning they’d do whatever it takes to be out there. Good thing I don’t take care of contracts because I would put a clause in all contracts that says if you can’t play, besides having a catastrophic injury or a death in the immediate family, you will only receive 20% of your normal pay. Seems players today will miss games over a darn hangnail.

  28. Ryan Jensen’s Hair Says:

You think I’m not committed? You’re wrong Jeano. The dew don’t do sick!

  29. Ryan McGregor Says:

He’ll play he just told me so. He’s also laughing at the Joes. He says, “Nice job drumming up clicks”.

  30. Ryan Jensen’s Hair Says:

Now ya’ll hesh up and worry about bringing the noise

  31. Jean Lafitte Says:

Hope so Ryan. You’re an important cog in this wheel bro!

  32. TampaTown Says:

Let him nap in the injury tent when the defense is on the field.

  33. EA Says:

This game is as important as next game in Chicago, we don’t need to pull a Minnesota-Buffalo next week.

  34. unbelievable Says:

Really really hope he plays, or tonight will get ugly.

  35. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

I woke up with a bad cold out of the blue this morning. Been in bed all day trying to kick it before the game.

Per Greg Auman – “Bucs inactives tonight vs. Steelers: rookie RB Ronald Jones, injured DTs Vita Vea and Beau Allen, injured CB Marcus Williams, OL Alex Cappa, OL Mike Liedtke, WR Justin Watson”

Good sign to see that C Ryan Jensen is not on the inactive list. Bad news for RoJo. Nice to see that Noah Spence be given another shot to prove himself. Go Bucs.

  38. AlabamaBucsFan Says:

@Boogie Nightz – “BTW @Joe where did you get this picture? lol”

This picture was taking 2 years ago when he was getting a psych eval at the local hospital. Opposing teams (dline) were complaining that he was crazy.

  39. Mike in LOL Says:

Well, my car tire blew out on i275 south this morning… got it towed home because I didn’t have a spare and needed to go get another tire with my wife’s car… only to find out that the alternator had also gone bad!!

But car is fine now and ready to rock tomorrow for work… for now, it’s BUCS time!!!

  40. Mike in LOL Says:

Just saw Jensen on the feild warming up, man is going to mail some Steelers tonight!!!

  41. Mike in LOL Says:
