More Practice Videos: Mike Evans Hits Turf Hard; Jameis Winston Intercepted

August 3rd, 2018

Yes, things can get dangerous in practice for receivers when you run a scenario like Dirk Koetter did yesterday.

Situational work ordered by the head coach called for final plays, four seconds to score a touchdown or bust. Both videos below are in those calls. That can really kick up the competitive juices, and you see that clearly on the hotly contested ball thrown to Mike Evans by Ryan Fitzpatrick. Evans and Ryan Smith sky and come down hard.

In the bottom video, Jameis Winston, America’s Quarterback, gets picked by Keith Tandy. Not a special throw by No. 3.

Enjoy!

And your point? This is football – right?

  2. MagicMarpet Says:

Obviously red zone interceptions are a terrible thing, but in that scenario, a “final play” where it’s all or nothing, the defense knows what is coming so the odds are heavily in their favor. Let’s hope we aren’t in too many of those situations come game time but let’s not make a piss about a camp interception either. On a side note, real football is almost here so I’m back for my daily dose of JBF! Let’s keep it positive people! If you truly love our Bucs then you root for every player on the team. I say this every year but I’ve never been so pumped for the season to start. Even with our little three game issue. Go Fitz and Go Bucs!

  3. Bucsfanman Says:

I know a certain poster who will be elated with the second clip! That’s right, I’m talking ’bout the Tandyman!!!

  4. Jameis wins Says:

Why is there no footage at all from RoJo!?? What does the kid run like ?

  5. BrianBucs Says:

It’s not an unusual sight to see Winston throwing a pic or turning the ball over.
However, all QB’s throw more pics in training camp and underwear football

  6. WestminsterCoBucsFan Says:

I’m sure Tandy will poke at jameis a bit in the shower…

  7. Dooshlarue Says:

    Westminster

Are you subtly insinuating that Tandy is going to get cut from the team and is instead getting some on the job training for his next gig as an Uber driver?
Baptism by fire I suppose…… “and like I said, God is good”.
    😜

  8. Doug Says:

    Good throw by Jameis!!

  9. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

Saw some video of D Guice he is running the ball in midseason form so glad licht passed on him

  10. MagicMarpet Says:

Annnnnnnnd this! Is why I don’t frequent joebucsfan as often as I’d like to. Give me the option to turn off comments and I’d never leave.

  11. I’m a Tandyman Bucs Fan Says:

Been out of pocket Bucsfanman My Man. Took kids to Louisville to Amusement Park. Yeah buddy liked that interception. The Tandy Man Can!!! Keep it real My Brother.

  12. Destinjohnny Says:

The Tandy thing is confusing to me
I think he is our best saftey yet it doesn’t really play

  13. WestminsterCoBucsFan Says:

    Doosh
Keep talking that Uber cuz you sure as sh!t can’t talk football

  14. I'm a Tandyman Bucs Fan Says:

Doosh you are a douche!!!! Tandy is a good man that stays home with his beautiful wife and beautiful little boy. You won’t catch him out in no Uber after hours> Get him Westminster!!! We all need to keep it real on here. JW 3 is serving his time and will hopefully get better from this punishment. I know I did when I was a kid and the old man got my ass. Didn’t do that stuff no mo!!!!! LOL

  15. Waterboy Says:

I didn’t see anyone open on that all or nothing play.

I can talk football, it’s just so much fun to get all of you Jameis nut huggers riled up.
You guys refuse to accept his deficiencies and only tout winless stats and perceived potential.

For the record, I’m not a Winston hater.
I didn’t want Mariota either. Carr was my choice a year before.
I’m a “hater” of the people that fail to see what I see as major on field shortcomings and off field character issues.

But I’ll confess, I’m growing tired of it and I will offer this:

When and if JW gets his chance after his suspension, I hope he does well because I am a fan of the BUCS as I have been since 1976.
I will praise his accomplishments and I will continue to criticize his mistakes, I will not however, anoint him Franchise/Messiah status until he can prove maturity on and off the field for an extended period of time.

He’s got a lot of work to do and I hope for my TEAM’S sake he gets his act together.

I will do my best to refrain from any further JW bashing until he gets his shot at proving me wrong.
There is too much to be excited about with this TEAM this season!

    Go Bucs!

  17. WestminsterCoBucsFan Says:

    Doosh
Praise his accomplishments? lol you mean those “cherry picked” stats joe offers up on occasion? What’s got an old fart like you changing tunes? Grams finally take those dentures out for you this morning? Whatever it is I’m glad you’re off the bash-wagon. Though, I’m not sure you’re much of a bucs fan to begin with…pretty sure you were the guy that thought jpp was a fa signing yesterday

  18. FairMinded Says:

Man that was a weak throw. And not clear who he was tossing it to either

  19. Arealbucsfan Says:

Terrible throw and terrible play call
