Not concerned about murals.
As we all know, the flag of America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, is flying at half-mast.
The Bucs decided to rip his mural down from the pillars of the Den of Depression which sent untold and unanswered questions floating through the air of Bucs fandom.
When Bucs star receiver Mike Evans was asked about this issue, he seemed surprised that it happened. He quickly replied in a joking manner, “Am I up there?” Evans stated he has yet to drive by the stadium to see whose mural is up.
Evans then noted that once upon a time his likeness was removed from the stadium. But Evans put it all in perspective.
“I am paid to play,” Evans said. “So I don’t care about any of that sh!t.”
As Joe stated earlier this week, Joe thinks Jameis’ mural being removed is more of an appeasement to corporate sponsors than it is to Jameis’ job security with the Bucs.

If there is a silver lining from this Winston drama; it’s hopefully that this team and players can take an us-against-the world mentality and just get p1ssed at everyone that is writing off the team and bring that energy day 1 at TC and carry it into the season.

I agree with you. Sometimes all it takes for a team like the Bucs is adversity and we sure have it. This may be the spring board this team needed to show that it isn’t all about Winston but it is ALL ABOUT THE TEAM!!!

His teammates look at it like LD does, a stupid mistake that happened “back in the day.” NFL, it’s owners and any business really want to stay away from controversy. They have no win taking sides; you automatically piss off half your fans.

He tells it like it is. We can all go crazy with whos picture is on the side of RayJay but at the end of the day its W’s and L’s and if we get a lot more of those W’s this year then you can bet Jameis likeness will once again grace the side of the stadium. Did it matter where Ben Rothlesbergers pictures were after his issues???

Mike Evans produces, takes coaching really well and try to work hard at perfecting his craft ! I have always liked his attitude as long as he can do so without getting us flagged and he is a man of his word! If we had 53 Mike Evans on this squad we’d be hard to beat.. Go bucs & can not wait until the season starts

His 2017 1.89 YAC is embarrassing for a guy his size and skill set. Hopefully he focused on that instead of the anthem and banner nonsense
