“I Would Cut Him”

June 28th, 2018

Tears apart America.

In the eyes of former offensive lineman Damien Woody, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, is public enemy No. 1.

As a result, Woody, if he were in the shoes of Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht, would wash his hands of Jameis right now and kick him to the curb, 2018 season and beyond be damned.

In an explosive segment on NFL Live today seen on BSPN, Woody tore into Jameis for all sorts of things including being a bad teammate and dragging down the Bucs franchise.

“I’m going to say this and I’m going to be real blunt,” Woody began. “I’m tired of the excuses. … You read off alcohol. I’m sorry, but I have an adult beverage. But that don’t mean I have a license to go out there and touch random females and do all of this crazy stuff. When does this stop? WE HAD THESE THINGS HAPPEN AT FLORIDA STATE! THEN YOU COME TO THE LEAGUE AND THIS HAPPENS! I DON’T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT ALCOHOL AND ALL OF THIS STUFF. WHEN IS IT GOING TO STOP!”

Well, without Joe trying to be an a-hole here, perhaps it has. Jameis said he is alcohol-free. This hassle, it appears, happened when Jameis was hammered. To the best of everyone’s knowledge, Jameis has behaved for over two years, the majority of his NFL career.

Of course, Jameis sadly tried to hide this nonsense from his employers, the guy who stuck his arse on the line to draft him, his coaches and his teammates. What else could he be hiding? Hopefully nothing.

You can see Woody’s emotional, vocal arse-chewing in the video below.

America’s Groper is on a 13 game tryout. 20 mil avg QB pay for 2019 he is also on his 9th life.

  2. ShutTheBucUp Says:

This is going to split the fan base right in half. The only cure is WINNING GAMES.

  3. SteveK Says:

Woody is one passionate dude! A champion!

  4. Dewey Selmon Says:

America’s Groper has a 13 game tryout. He is on his 9th life. I expect him to come out smoking after the bye week.

  5. lightningbuc Says:

Thank God those outside of Tallahassee/Tampa see him for the scum he is.

  6. Fred W Mcneil Says:

    I’m very disappointed.
I guess we’ll draft a QB this year and season him behind Winston next year.

  7. Durango 95 Says:

I watched the video so you don’t have too. Fat guy with loud mouth, feigning outrage and signaling virtue.

    In other words; typical espn.

  8. patrickbucs Says:

    You’re exactly right Shutthebucup

  9. BushidoEvans Says:

I suggest you all watch the nfl network reporters statement.

  10. patrickbucs Says:

Woody’s correct imo except you can’t cut him right now.

Durango he wasn’t told to say that, those were his true feelings imo. He’s a straight up guy and a well respected NFL champion.

  11. Maddognavy Says:

    Bye Felicia

  12. I’m a Tandyman Bucs Fan Says:

Woody Is Real!!! He calls a Spade a Spade… I’m old school like Woody!! I’m sorry I didn’t mean to do that is BS. It is what is. If you Sorry and didn’t mean to do it…….Then why did you do it and then lie about it???? The Bucs were looking for a Quarterback when they signed Jaboo!!! He really hasn’t proved himself to be franchise. What did they say he was like 17 and 28 as a Buc??? That to me is a loser!!! I’m with Woody…..Move on Bucs unless you want to continue with mediocrity!!

  13. Lamarcus Says:

All ugly guys have a no tolerance policy against women. He needs the points and cookies

  14. Clutch Nixon Says:

Woody is a dumbass. Happy to jump into the crowd with torches and yell. He’s a coward. He’s dumping on a man without knowing the facts. He’s taking a stance without knowing facts and attacking a mans character to make money. Pathetic. Scum. Its irresponsible, and personal to attack a mans character with the platform he has. But whatever right. He thinks that jumping onto the mob will further his career so its open season. Damien Woody. Lol. Chewed up and spit out by the NFL so now hes trying to make a career by unjustly slandering what should be his comrades.

  15. Durango 95 Says:

Alledgedly Woody is at that bar right now playing grab ass with his fellow ESPN employees. ESPN- where sexual harassment never goes out of style.

  16. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Tell Woody the matter has already been settled……he’s staying.

  17. Chris in WA Says:

Call it what it is. He not only tried to hide it form his employee… HE LIED!. He could have easily been drafted 2nd or later in the draft and because of the 2011 CBA he would have received less money for his rookie contract the further down he was drafted, even if it was 2nd overall by the Titans. The Buccaneers did him one of the biggest, if not the biggest favor in his entire life, picking him first overall.

First he blamed “Kate” and her recollection of the number of passengers, now he is blaming the alcohol. This situation would have been not as much of a disaster had he said back in November: “I regret my actions. I was drunk but that is no excuse for how I treated someone who was simply doing their job. I am thankful for companies like Uber and how they keep drunk drivers off the road. I apologize to the Driver, company, Buccaneers organization, and fans as I have let them down. I have willingly given up alcohol as I move forward and ask for Kate’s forgiveness and the forgiveness of the fans. I am grateful for GM Licht and the Glazers for giving me the opportunity to play the game I have loved my entire life and I respect whatever decisions they make as I also accept whatever help and guidance the NFL has to offer. Thank you all and God Bless!”

Did you read that Winston’s handlers and lawyers? THAT is how you draft a statement. Not phoning buddy Ronald Darby and asking him to BS on your behalf. Not saying “Kate” was confused. And not LYING TO THE FANS AND BUCCANEERS!

  18. BrianBucs Says:

Woody is exactly 100% correct. Not only did Winston grab a female’s crotch without her consent, he then lied about it to his teammates, his coaches and the Bucs management. He should NEVER have the honor of wearing a Bucs uniform again

  19. Joe Says:

ESPN- where sexual harassment never goes out of style.

Didn’t think of that but how ironic.

  20. Vincente Fernandez Says:

Cut him. What he did is unacceptable, just because you are good at football doesn’t give the liberty to do whatever you want and get away with it. His statement is an admission of guilt. Get him out of that locker room and out of the public eye. You screwed up big time now face the consequences.

  21. SB Says:

I am going to be the one to say that right now I am a fan and have no control what the Brass does concerning JW. Therefore I am not going to concern myself with it. I am more concerned that JW takes every step possible to come to grips within himself that he can find a way to never let this to become a possibility again.
IMO he covered this up and may have been a ‘little’ more community proactive while run blocking for the possibility that this very situation may occur later.

    🙂

  23. Vincente Fernandez Says:

And don’t ever call him America’s QB again. I’m emberaased to be a buc fan. What a disgrace.

  24. DB55 Says:

now hes trying to make a career by unjustly slandering what should be his comrades.
    —————–
Based on his history on tv that’s all he does.

  25. Vincente Says:

    Emberassing.

  26. Vincente Says:

He should be cut no excuses for this type of behavior. And never call him America’s QB again.

  27. Joel Says:

You guys eat up Winston’s excuses like he eats up finger W’s

  28. Nole4JabooANDdBucs Says:

History says Jameis ruined his life when at 19yrs of age he had consensual sex with a white chick, who after telling her friends decided to scream rape. (Emmitt Teal lost his life after a white woman accused him of making her feel uncomfortable)

That has put a target on him for the rest of his life, until he is literally destroyed. He will not get the forgiveness Big Ben and others have got. Because the white chick labeled him a rapist. History says he needs to be punished!

So the REAL haters will pound and pound for punishment. The Uber case is Jameis’s new norm…because the real hate for Jameis is something much deeper!

    Soooo sad.

  29. Joe Says:

And don’t ever call him America’s QB again.

You are going to be very disappointed.

  30. Dreambig Says:

I thought Winston was the right choice, thought he had potential to be one of the best QBs ever. Thought Erica lied. Thought his college hyjincs were youthful indiscretions. Now I feel like a fool. If he wasn’t a maggot, the media storm from the last FSU year would have made him super careful. I am in my 50s, been drunk tons and tons of times, been with lots of girls, sometimes drunk off my ass, NEVER in my entire life did I grope a girl out of the blue with out her consent. I just don’t get it. Its the behavior of a predator. Bucs are in a bad spot for sure. Not sure if they should bail on him or not.

  31. Bucsfan951 Says:

For a guy who’s supposed to get this team w’s and bring the fan base together, he’s not doing any of that!

  32. Chris in WA Says:

Once a Criminole always a Criminole. Can’t even blame Winston. It’s obvious that the boosters at “Free Shoes U” made him entitled and it shows with him blatantly walking into a Publix and grabbing Crab Legs like he owns the place. Paying for things is for the rest of us peasants and serfs.

  33. Marc Says:

America’s Groperbsure is a polarize dude, right Joe?

  34. Marc Says:

America’s Sex Offender sure is a polarizing dude, right Joe?

  35. LifeOfABucFan Says:

You’ll all see that Kate is not going to be the only victim out there…I think there are more out there, just too afraid to speak up…maybe one or two more will step forward…

    Once a predator, always a predator…

    Blameless Jameis…UGH!

  36. Joe Says:

America’s Groperbsure is a polarize dude, right Joe?

He’s earning his nickname more than ever before!

  37. Dreambig Says:

Nole4jaboo, your the very reason I can’t be a democrat any more. James gropes a girl in the crotch and you cry racism because the girl was white. A tactic completely designed to not call him out for bad behavior. What’s color got to do with it?

  38. vincente Says:

    Joe

    Im already very disappointed.

  39. SB Says:

I fully believe he was in the pre-stages of a blackout drunk. My opinion is mine alone. Does it excuse his actions. Absolutely not. When you are the first overall pick in the NFL draft you owe it to not only Yourself but to Millions of others to make better choices than to hang out with the people he was choosing to right after we drafted him. If and that is “IF’ what Banks said is true and I have a feeling we find out it is, then it is like I tell my son.
“Life is a series of choices. For all of them there is consequence or reward accordingly.”

  40. BigMacAttack Says:

The lynch mob is growing by the hour. Why don’t you round up a posse and drag him in behind your horse. This is all so ridiculous. Stupidity abounds.

  41. University of Seffner Says:

I’d love to see Damien Woody be a GM (sarcasm). He’d be just like Matt Millen.

  42. Lunchbox Says:

Said it before and I’ll say it again. Drew Lock threw 43 TD’s last season for University of Missouri. 43.

  43. JabooBuc Says:

Woody is right. The main point about all of this is JW’s complete disregard for the second chance in life he’s been given. Regardless of weather you think he raped a girl at FSU or not, normal people would have been scared straight. Not Jameis, he thinks he’s entitled.

He will say all the right things and act shamed, but his history indicates that he will eventually let his team and fans down. Fact is, he can’t be trusted and most will not want him rewarded with the opportunity to lead this team.

Bite the bullet and let him go. We can do better.

  44. Defense Rules Says:

Being drunk on your ass is not a good look for ‘the face if the franchise’. People could forgive his ‘indiscretion’ for that though.

Groping a female, even while drunk, is taboo & tells others a lot about what that person thinks of the other gender IMO. But again, people could forgive that type of ‘indiscretion’ in time as well.

But others take it personally when you lie to them. And that’s what Jameis did that directly impacts EVERYONE involved … he played everyone for the fool. His teammates will say all is forgiven & it’s time to move forward, BUT … they’ll never look at him the same way. Leadership is based on not just performance, but even more-so on trust & respect. Once you lose it, it’s REALLY hard to win back. Jameis lost that when he lied about this whole sordid affair, and that’ll turn out to be the biggest loss of all IMO.

  45. feelthepewterpower Says:

Trying to hide it out of
Embarassment. Easier to just to tell the truth from the outset. Have to forgive him and move on.

  46. feelthepewterpower Says:

Regarding defense rules above: I think it stems from being in the spotlight and having women typically gravitate and throw themselves at him (some women are out to get athletes pregnant to collect money sadly). No excuses but the alcohol made him think it was ok to act that way based on his experience with women most likely.

  47. JMan 5 Says:

    Nole4Jaboo stop race baiting

  48. JMan5 Says:

    Good for woody

  49. Pete I Says:

Joe wants the face of the franchise to be a disturbed man who touches women inappropriately. Glad my daughters don’t read this site.

” Jameis said he has been alcohol-free for two years. ” Yep, they all say that or something similar.

  50. Anonymous Says:

We need to keep him he didn’t say nothing about the Pits. QB

  51. JMan5 Says:

Woody knows something about winning championships in the NFL. Something JaBOOB won’t learn as a starter.

  52. Bob in Valrico Says:

Pretty much agree with Defense Rules. The trust and respect issue also
extends to the fans, owners and management that have put their reputation on the line to make him a number one pick.
Its true there have been worse transgressions and the players have been able to resume and resurrect their careers. That said, the Glazers have a tough decision
to make for the future of this franchise. The way Jameis handled this incident
    could have been better IMO.

  53. ARGH_M8E Says:

    Shameus Winston:(

  54. Anonymous Says:

    I agree with woody 100%

  55. glen k mattingly Says:

    Fire Winston, hire Kaepernick.

  56. RustyRhinos Says:

“Jameis said he is alcohol-free.” Mr. Winston has “said” lots of things, does that make them true? How about his first recollection of the events in the Uber, he “said” that he was not in the front seat of the Uber ride. I understand that what he “said” and what he meant by what he “said” may be two different things. He also once “said” to judge him by his actions.
    Go Bucs!

  57. Bucko40 Says:

The fact that ANY fan can still sit back and support Winston is completely and utterly pathetic. You are basically slapping every victim of sexual assault in the face. Why? Because he MIGHT win your team some games. Emphasis on Might! This is now the 4 time Winston has been accused or been associated with a person involved in a Sexual Assault. When are you going to get it.

  58. T REX Says:

Please, this has zero to do with race and everything to do with being a decent human being. JW is trash. Time to take out the trash, folks.

  59. Destinjohnny Says:

Am I crazy to think the glazers are almost not hating this as they will get Jameis on the cheap?
If Jameis was going to make 20 million he is now making 8
Maybe I’m crazy but I wonder

  60. WillieG Says:

Being hammered is no excuse. I spent many hours hammered at my local watering hole. All the beautiful young women that worked there, loved me and still love me to this day. I’m friends with about 10 of them on Facebook and have gotten together with a few of them socially as well.

The reason for this is simple. I am a gentleman. I treat women with respect, even when hammered. By hammered, I mean 4-6 64 ounce pitchers hammered.

  61. Bogey Says:

Time to cut bait…how can anyone trust someone who lies…?
