On the conspiracy theory of Jay Haye’s firing – what a pile of nonsense… Guess what, Monachino became available. Dirk thought he was a better coach, and decided to let Hayes go. Monachino will probably be hired in the next few days.

    DeKemper,

Barkley doesn’t take us from 5-11 to 11-5… Don’t give up the farm when we also need DE, CB, and RB.

  3. Gambelero Says:

I’m with Ira, give me three pro bowl linemen and i’ll roll with average backs. Idiocy to move up to 4 for a running back.

  4. Buccaneer Bill Says:

A great OL makes every running back look better. A great RB without a great OL has a shorter career.

Draft Quentin – he is the next John Hannah. Of course, the only way he falls to seven is if there’s a run on QB’s.

  5. LifeOfABucFan Says:

    Gambelero…WELL SAID!!!! Agree with Ira!!

  6. Mike Johnson Says:

Shore up your trenches both Defensively and offensively. You don’t need a great QB or a great RB. But you do need to get pressure on the opposing Offense. barkley nor Jameis is going to take you to a winning record consistently alone. Hell, a turtle can get thru a hole if he’s got time and its big enough!

  7. Greecosuave Says:

So Deaft Chubb or Nelson at #7? And if we do that we’ll likely lose out on Guice, Jones, and most likely Sony. Why can’t we have a game changer RB? Also we would do well in getting a new Center and Interior help.

Is it more practical to trade into the late 1st to grab a Veta or Sony?

  8. Buccaneer scotty Says:

    Pay the man
