The play call that sent me over the edge was on the first drive. Bucs have it 3rd and 4 in the redzone. Instead of going for the first down, which would use more time on the clock they throw the pass to the corner of the endzone to Mike Evans. Low percentage pass, taking no time off the clock and then have to kick anyway. That told me everything I needed to know about this game. We need touchdowns to beat Atlanta, not field goals and we needed to keep the ball out of Matt Ryans hands as much as possible. We did neither. When it was 2nd and 2 I wasn’t surprised at all that they threw three times. BAD BAD PLAY CALLS.

PS. Love the podcast. Best Bucs coverage hands down.

Ira said the Bucs need 2 wins to save Koetter’s job. What if they are a squeeker over a bad Packer team and then a W over the Saints in the final week if the Saints have locked up a playoff seed and are in exhibition mode? I think Dirk needs a third win, probably Detroit or the ATL on MNF or Bon Voyage!.
