“The Quarterback Has To Make A Play”

October 6th, 2017

Blames himself.

Ask America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, who to point a finger at for losing to the Belicheats Thursday night and he won’t blink an eye.

“The quarterback has to make a play,” Jameis said.

In particular, Jameis was very hard on himself for not connecting in the final play of the game when the Bucs had a chance to score a touchdown to win.

Over and over he said the failure on the final play of the game was squarely on his shoulders.

“There is two seconds in the game,” Jameis said. “Quarterback has to make a play. You have to do something. I have to make a play. We fought; we battled; we didn’t give up. The defense played phenomenal.

“The quarterback has to make plays. The quarterback has to make plays in the NFL. I have to give [the receiver] a chance.”

Jameis wanted no part of anyone trying to run futile Nick Nolk out of town for shatting the bed, staining the rug and falling over the dog.

“We came back,” Jameis said, absolving Folk. “The quarterback has to make a play.”

  1. Walter Says:

You can definitely take some blame Jameis, you missed on some HUUUUUUUUGE throws to D-Jax. But the difference in this game was the battle of Gostowski vs Folk.

  2. Walter Says:

The Bucs were the better football team

  3. Jimmy Says:

At some point, the speeches need to stop and the winning needs to start.

  4. Mike Johnson Says:

Speak for yourself Jameis. Not Nick Folk. Because All I got to say to Mr Folk is..What the Folk was that?!!! Jameis you strart much to slow to be a good QB. You are far from elite. Ohh, and the last min comebacks? Only work against winless teams like the Giants. And lets not absolve Mr Koetter. Is it me or is it Koetter fails to make adjustments to his gameplan based on actually in game situations. Koetter failed us against the pats. And now, hear comes AZ in Arizona. They play good and hard at home. That crowd is Deaf defying! Ruck up Bucs, Nobody feels sorry for you. The Arizona Cardinals certainly won’t!

  5. DCBUCSFAN Says:

It’s the same narrative week in and out

  6. Buc4lyfe79 Says:

How about making a play on one of ur numerous earlier in game opportunities instead of forcing the game to come down to a desperation play with 2 seconds left? How bout coach K being able to hold his wad together long enuf to keep running the football instead of getting behind one frikin score and abandoning the run? Bucs deserved to lose and for where he was drafted, #28 is a #BUST.

  7. Mr. E Nigma Says:

Mr. Magoo threw one of the worst passes in NFL history to end the game. Effectively leaving his team with no chance to win. The whole game he was missing receivers or giving them no chance to get YAC. This is becoming the norm as he seems to be regressing since his rookie year. I think the Patriots defense dropped like three interceptions.

Folk certainly takes some blame but Winston should have put this game away much earlier in spite of Folk’s misses. All we are going to hear this week from the media is how close the game was against a good team like the Patriots. This is meaningless banter for what is looking like a serious problem at QB.

  8. Buc4lyfe79 Says:

“Bucs were the better team” lmao. What game were u watching @Walter? The team that made plays when it needed to won this game, how was that the Bucs?

  9. Jason Says:

He always takes the blame after every loss. He always says “I have to get better”. How many years will this go on for??? Are they going to sign him to a franchise contract after the rookie one??? All he has to say is “I have to get better” and everything is fine??? No consistency whatsoever. The same high throws over and over. Something has to change or the “get better” part ain’t happening.

  10. EA Says:

Thanks Jimmy, I personally don’t want to hear anymore excuses. I have been a Jameis supporter and I wish him the best but I’m starting to lose hope. This ” America’s QB, probowler bla bla ” needs to take a break until it deserves to be mentioned again.
I honestly don’t see them any of the next 3 games, I hope I’m wrong.

  11. Buc_The_World Says:

Then make the damn play and quit talking about it. I’m disappointed but I love my team. Jameis was terrible but he played well enough to give us a chance however I’m sick of hearing I have to get better or I have to make a the play, just freaking do it. Both teams played bad I will blame the short week. Despite the bad play from Jameis, folk, and vh3, this loss is strictly on one person, Dirk. Do I want him fired? No, but I do think he needs to allow monken to call plays. Dirk has proven that he cannot be both. His playi calling was so bad even the expert panel and Tony Romo was calling him out. Last year he was called out by the broncos. He had better do something about this play calling or he is going to cost himself a job.

  12. EA Says:

    *win

  13. Bucsfan951 Says:

Just told the wife the title of this article. Her quick response… “Well, if it wasn’t for the ******* kicker…” and then I took a drink of my captain and coke and stopped listening. Good lord our kickers suck! But for real, koetter needs to hire someone to call the plays and dougie looked good. REALIST FOR PREZ!!! Hit me with another realist narcissistic repost!!!

  14. DB55 Says:

I keep telling ya Jameis is NOT Koetters qb. Koetter likes pocket qbs and Jameis does his best work outside the pocket. Jameis doesn’t throw 40-50 attempts he throw 28-35 in desperation time. Koetter wants Matty ice back and can’t bring himself to change his old tattered playbook. But wtf do I know?

  15. DB55 Says:

Don’t you throw the ball up to Evans in the last situation?

  16. Will Mack Says:

This game was all on HC Koetter’s game management. His coaching put the team in losing situations time and time again.
    Examples:
    1. Koetter kicking a 49 yard FG on 4th and 1.5yards knowing the struggles of the kicker. Pats in same situation understanding the game and field position elects to punt and pin us deep in a similar circumstance in the game.
    2. Koetter doesn’t make any adjustments to the play calling on the offensive side of the ball until 5:30mins left in game and is being down

  17. FortMyersDave Says:

If Folk hit a FG it would not have been Winston having to make a play but Brady and it would have been interesting to see if the Bucs D would be able to stop Brady in 2 minute mode. Lots of blame to go around, many dropped passes but Winston left a lot of points on the field before that last play….

  18. FortMyersDave Says:

Yeah DB, make it a jump ball and see if Evans comes down with it or draws a flag…. Of course the Pats had 9 guys in the endzone but why the heck not????

  19. EA Says:

No gronk, no Edelman, your defense intercepts Brady, O gets the ball and goose egg, your Defense gets another 3 and out, O gets the ball again and nothing again. You don’t beat the world champs like that Winston, at your house. You had Brady at home without his 2 best weapons and a last ranked defense and you couldn’t do squat with a healthy offense and Doug back, I’m sorry, this is beyond frustrating to me as a fan. The defense isn’t gonna follow your so called leadership Jameis if you let them down like this, at some point you gotta put your money where your mouth is.

  20. HarlemBuc Says:

And here the little stick draggers come to complain about the best QB in franchise history… whine, cry, whine… so sorry that our most complete team and most competent front office and coaching staff since our Super Bowl era can’t right the ship for you b!atches… we just came a hair close to beating the premier class of the Damn NFL on a Thursday night game… stop the f_€£in crying!!! Remember when Atlanta beat the holy crap out of us in the same situation a couple seasons back? Pull your skirt down or walk the plank!!! Jeez I don’t know how the Joe’s do it with this spoiled brat a$$ “fan” base

  21. Blake_Bucsfan Says:

    @DB55

I watched the last play about 15 times.

And im 90 percent sure we walk out of Ray Jay with a win tonight if Jameis had thrown immediately out of his drop to either Mikey or Hump.

Both were wide open and looking back for the ball. Seemed to me O.J. thought he was just running a clear out. Rookie mistake.

Ah well. 2-2 aint so bad, and this is the toughest part of our schedule. We’ll rebound from this next week after we sign a new kicker.

  22. richardtyson Says:

JW3 is putting this loss on him because that’s what leaders do. He knows if Folk sinks one of those Feild goals it’s a win. Bad route by Howard at the end with 2 seconds remaing. To many droped balls too. Winston should have had 2 passing TDs(Brate’s drop)or 1 passing TD and 1 rushing TD(Smith’s penalty). Score should be a lot different. I miss Connor Barth. This loss hurts.

  23. HarlemBuc Says:

Did anyone notice Jameis outplayed Tom Brady? Check the stats!!! Jeez bro!!! Great stadium, solid ownership, experienced coaches, top 10 GM, great f’n media(joe and the podcast network fellas) up and coming young team on cheap salaries?! I’m proud of my team son!!! And the giants and jets fan in the bar with me tonight were all envious of the potential we got
Only problem is… we got the softest “fans” since a drake concert

  24. Bucsace Says:

Jameis is probably happy he has Folk to fade some of the heat off of his awful performance tonight…….IMO, with all of his impressive passing stats, he looks like a stealthy bust at this point

  25. Not there yet Says:

Make plays in the first half and you don’t have to worry about a hail Mary at the end of every game. Great personally, great kid but on the field he is Josh Freeman inaccurate at times then pinpoint accurate like Brady but problem is you never know which one your going to get in a given play. I’m getting to the point I’m surprised when he’s on target

  26. Blake_Bucsfan Says:

    @Bucsace

For Folks sake are you seriously that simple?

If that dude had made 2 of his kicks, which is not an unreasonable expectation from a professional kicker of footballs, we win this game by 1 point.

Hell if he had made the 31 yarder, we would have at least had a shot to set him up for another game winner on the last drive.

This game is not 100 percent on Jameis, or Koetter, or Folk. But Folk is the only one who had absolutely no redeeming plays and needs to be fired immediately.

  27. Blake_Bucsfan Says:

*2 out of 3 of his kicks*

  28. German Buc Says:

If Folk just had hit the 31-yarder he would have made the winning FG from 37 yards out with 4 seconds remaining. Hard to say: but with Aguayo we would have won this game

  29. Idahobucsfan1145543 Says:

Quit playing make believe it is jw3 that is the problem can we have a new qb please

  30. Capt.Tim Says:

    The loss is on Folk.
    Koetter called a terrible game
Winston missed a few easy throws.

I dont blame Winston, because he and Desean havent developed timing.
    I blame Desean
Where the F*^k were you, during all the Offseason work Jameis and the other WRs were doing? Where were you doing voluntary OTAs?
Quit bitching. You didnt do the work- you dont get the rewards.
I want to see Desean succeed. But right now, the two of them trying to develop timing is hurting this team.

Despite Folk leaving 6 points on the field( dont count 56 yarder) and Brate dropping TD( it happens), Winston still almost brought is back .
Thats all you can ask, after all those disasters

  31. TALLEYBAN Buc Says:

Bucs fans Bucs fans the best QB y’all have ever had and y’all pi## on him every game Jameis needs to do this Jameis needs to do that Jameis gave us a freaking chance to win …do any of you all throw blame towards dirk who’s play calling has been terrible vanilla.. where are our hot routes where are our bunch formations…try something new dirk!! he fought hard in the game and he definetly didn’t lose the game for us..no he didn’t play good but damn he battled.. how ungrateful y’all freaking are mind blowing…please please let him go somewhere else I will be going right along with him one of the worse fan bases in football in my opinion

  32. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Saying Mike Evans was open on that last play is 100% false. Now, I would absolutely still have thrown him the ball, but he hadn’t even turned around yet when the ball was thrown. I was there, and I saw it on replay. Besides, how in the hell is anyone open when the Pats had like 5 guys sitting on the goal line? We’re all upset, and again I would have thrown to Evans regardless, but don’t make stuff up. It’s not necessary.

  33. dis Says:

Man. F all you guys. Jameis was handcuffed and NE has two of the best 5 defenders in the game.

This was a learning experience for Jameis. You guys act like he should have had a blowout win because NE lost to CAR last week.

And, Brady threw an INT and almost had another picked (and 4 more defenders dropped easy INTs against him this year already) but I bet the white trash Boston fans aren’t complaining about his performance tonight, which wasn’t that great IMO.

If anyone is to blame, and there isn’t besides a soccer player wannabe, it’s Koetter for not playing Jameis like the Marino he is:)

  34. richardtyson Says:

In 4 games Winston has the 3rd most yards in the league behind Carson Palmer and Brady. He also has a 92.4 qb rating which is an improvement over last year. Give him time and I think we will have something special.

  35. webster Says:

Some of you guys are idiots. Jameis, while he missed jackson on a deep ball is not the problem. We are constantly telling him do not force the ball or throw ints. We are constantly telling him that a punt is a good thing. He did that and we were in position to win the game. The kicker has to make kicks. This was a defensive struggle tonight and jameis was calm throughout. I dont want to hear that bs that the patriots was giving up so many yards in games previous. Every game in the nfl takes on a new life. If your kicker makes his kicks, we are not having this conversation. Jameis kept his team in striking distance. We have to make kicks and koetter has to call a better game.

  36. richardtyson Says:

Winston should be higher on the qb rankings list through 4 games.
    Marcus Mariota
    2017 stats: 4 games | 60.0 pct | 792 pass yds | 7.2 ypa | 3 pass TD | 3 INT | 116 rush yds | 3 rush TD
    Trevor Siemian
    2017 stats: 4 games | 62.7 pct | 888 pass yds | 7.0 ypa | 7 pass TD | 4 INT
    Jameis Winston
    2017 stats: 4 games | 61.0 pct | 1,198 pass yds | 7.8 ypa | 7 pass TD | 3 INT

  37. Blake_Bucsfan Says:

    @Haiwain Buc

That’s just what i saw from the broadcast angle replay.

    Probably should have mentioned that.

  38. Jason Says:

Bottom line… Winston keeps making the same high throw over and over every game. It has to get corrected or it’s going to wreck all his progress. He’s still way to inconsistent. He plays his heart out.. but at the end of the day it’s just like he says… he has to make the play.. not the WR not the D and not the Coach!!!! You call the fans soft or the worst go take a freaking leap.. cause if the REAL fan doesn’t speak up they are going to sign this kid to a record contract.. for what?? All the yardage game on SHORT passes… The long ball isn’t there yet… Is that what he’s supposed to be???? If you don’t see that then you don’t deserve to be a fan. Go Bucs!!! Right the Ship!!!!

  39. Jason Says:

And we shouldn’t be depending on a kicker!!!! WE SHOULD BE SCORING TOUCHDOWNS!!! At least get a third down conversion????? Crickets….

  40. webster Says:

Scoring touchdowns? You mean when brate dropped a touchdown and then the kicker missed? You mean when jameis ran for a touchdown and there was a penalty on the play? Idiots, understand you are not going to score 30 every game. Winston is not the problem.

  41. webster Says:

Understand, this is a TEAM game.

  42. firethecannons Says:

agree with Webster and tallyban and richardtyson

koetter needs to explain his poor play calling and folk needs to be replaced with an upgrade if possible, we should stop relying on him too–more “go for it” plays

why did we stop using doug martin–he was successful stupid play caller lost us the game

  43. dis Says:

Look. Easy to understand answer. #BlameJameis

Luckily he can handle it. All you F’ing Bucs fans….take it from and a born and raised Phins fan, appreciate the f out of Jameis.

Also, its Tampa. My Grandparents have lived in Homosassa for 30 years. If Jameis was white, I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem, right?? Haha. Get yo bump stocks before its too late….

Jameis is our guy. So shutup and deal with it:P

  44. dis Says:

Oh. I graduated from FSU in 1995. Does that make a difference in my argument?? Lol

  45. Jason Says:

And he’s the leader of the TEAM

  46. Nole4JabooANDdBucs Says:

Webster you summed it up nicely…I honestly don’t understand what these armchair players expect. Look at the freaking game with knowledge of what you are looking at.

Jameis may say he takes the blame for a whole lot of crap
that isn’t all his fault…he has been told over and over again, live to play another play and to rely on the kicker…and Koetter was calling those simplistic plays tim he finally let him go to shotgun

  47. NFLNut Says:

JW is literally the greatest “leader of men” that I have ever seen in sports … and I’m not exaggerating. He is basically absolute perfection when it comes to leadership; I love this kid!

  48. Greg Says:

Walter says “The bucs were the better team”–you obviously are smoking crack, we were no where near the better team and were lucky to have a chance to win that game at the end! Jameis was a sh!t show tonight, Doug Martin only bright spot tonight!

  49. Mike Johnson Says:

I’m gettin just a wee bit tired of seeing Rev Jameis come to the pulpit sayin, I gotta play better. Well Ammit? Play better!! He’s starting to look like a preacher. And Buc fans? You can praise coach Koetter alls you like. He does not do well in making game adjustments to his game palns. He just does his game plan however! So I put a lot of this loss squarely on his head..where it ought to be. And Please Buc organization. Give Mr. Folk a plane ticket on friday and get him the FOLK out of Tampa Bay!!!!!!

  50. Capt.Tim Says:

    Dis Says
“Also, its Tampa. My Grandparents have lived in Homosassa for 30 years. If Jameis was white, I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem, right?? Haha. Get yo bump stocks before its too late….”

    Wow Ahole, racist much?
I guarantee 95% of the Winston Jerseys sold, are sold to white people.
As are most of the people who pay to see him play.

But if you’re feeling Butt hurt, run up to Chicago, and help the thousands of kids shooting each other

Or run help the 30 million slaves in the world RIGHT NOW.

The few pinheads who post here, and hate Jameis, represent themselves.
    Not any particular race

    Grow up

  51. DislocatedBucsFan Says:

Jameis has to play better. His self blame while correctly guided is getting as old as Lovies simple as that phrase. Rhetoric

  52. DislocatedBucsFan Says:

    @ Nole4

Enlighten us simpletons with your football wisdom. Maybe you can shred light on the countless overthrows and misreads.

Koetter deserves blame without question but how do you explain 100 yards of passing in the first half and zero third down conversions. Not all of that is play calling, Jameis, being a pro can call a check or audible out if he sees something off.

  53. tval Says:

It’s called taking the high road, dummies. If he said “we” you’d say he needs to be a better leader. Grow accustomed. Extension coming soon if bus are smart. I’d trade ya Wentz and a 1st for Jameis today.

  54. tval Says:

Easy, dislo. The pats played off all half and let Doug run. Weren’t gonna let Jameis beat them from outset. That’s smart. Dirk called a terrible half. Live with it

  55. Go for the face Says:

“Not going to score 30 every game.” You’re right guy, they don’t score 30 ANY game. And Harlem Buc, you are another loser satisfied with mediocrity. “Jameis outplayed brady, look at the stats.” That was so asinine and stupid that I almost had an aneurysm. That long pass to Brandon cooks, the touch throws to James white etc. Jameis can’t make those throws in a million years. Bucs offense going three and out 80 percent of the game with ghastly misreads and inaccurate throws while Brady is competing however many straight passes. Spare me the 334 yards BS as well, which is even more laughable. 4th quarter numbers trying to play catch up. Just like Blake Bortles, can’t play execute or play worth a damn when it really counts- when the defense isn’t playing a softer zone. It was a completely unacceptable performance.

  56. Teddy Says:

“shred light.” Did someone say “simpletons?”

  57. tval Says:

This was the type of game that’ll make Tom retire and Jameis come out of his shell, as a player..he’s still being nice on the field… REALLY give Jameis the keys, dirk. Crunch time he flourishes. That’s special

  58. James Walker Says:

Actually, Folk left 12 points on the field. The 9 from the kicks he missed, and 3 from not kicking on the last play because we needed a TD from the other misses.

  59. tval Says:

Throw to Brandon cooks was easy..lol!! Wide open just over a backer. James makes that throw in his sleep..when any rhythm is created…just like tom..stop being a goofball

  60. tval Says:

Throw to cooks was 1 read by design..lmao!! Are you kidding me? That’s McDaniels, not Brady..some people expose their ignorance when talking…I love it!!! The slant to DeSean was harder because slant timing, especially passing window/ clearing dline, is more difficult than lofting crossing route in 15 yd window. This isn’t hard

  61. Matts17 Says:

Winston just isn’t very good, period. His inaccuracy and questionable deviousness making coupled with his inability to go through his progressions are the same game after game. He gets hot in spurts but that’s really all.

Still plays like an out of control rookie. Love his toughness and passion but that’s not enough in this league.

  62. Matts17 Says:

    *decision making

  63. tval Says:

The pats and Josh call more of a vertical pass game than dirk. Blame dirk for that. You have to dictate to the defense..thats, again, on dirk

  64. Bobby M. Says:

He starts slow and is inaccurate….he was that way in college and I’ve been saying this entire time, you can’t win in the NFL playing from behind the way he did at FSU. It’s two totally different levels of competition. Nearly every pro analyst, GM, etc will tell you accuracy is extremely hard to correct by the time they make it pro….they are what they are. Brady leads receivers with his ball placement so they are able to get YAC….Winston gets his guys twisted or leaping where they worry about getting tackled immediately. Those details matter and add up. If the defense isn’t playing lights out, the team has no chance of hanging around.

  65. Dreambig Says:

2-2 and we just played the Pats down to the wire, Sky is not falling. Team will get better. We may have to accept that Winston is just a pretty good QB, not the next Brady or Rodgers. Or maybe after a year or two, he might be. But last night was a team failure, there is plenty of blame to go around.

  66. JabooBuc Says:

Actually, if you think about it, the difference in the game was the two kickers. Bucs D held the NE out of the end zone for most of the game but they were still able to put points on the board because they have a reliable kicker.

Jameis did not play well early but was able to get the Bucs in FG range which should mean points. By the way, can we stop with the bad play calling stuff about Dirk. A lot of that is on Jameis. Hard to call plays when your QB is missing easy throws to open receivers. The miss to Desean was an easy 7 and he was wide open.

  67. Go for the face Says:

Tval says – “pass to cooks was easy BRAH, Jameis makes that in his sleep.” Hilarious. You know what else was easy? That 3rd and 3 pass to Martin in the flat. A wide open Desean Jackson on the 9 nine route, not seeing an open Mike Evans. It’s one thing to have an opinion, it’s another to come off as someone as D-riding, naive and simple as you.

  68. Mitch Says:

I’d say the downfall here is that Winston gets too emotional during prime time games and that is what led to his poor ball placement and decision making for the majority of the game. It took him until the 4th to start calming down. Young man just needs to learn how to better prepare his emotional side for those situations and we will be ok.

  69. gilhealy Says:

It was a field goal game. Their guy made 4, our guy missed 3 and should’ve had a chance for 4 to end the game. Some of you need your girl, or guy, to warm some milk, lay you on your back and burp you to sleep. I hope JW takes all the money he can from one of the many teams that will covet him, and leaves this immature fan and media base. All games are played different, and this one played out to be won with FG’s. We didn’t make ours. Simple as that. Martin couldn’t catch a cold, Brate dropped a TD that turned into a failed FG attempt. And Smith’s penalty negated a walk in TD by Winston. We should’ve won this game. But it wasn’t JW’s fault we didn’t.

  70. JameisDungy Says:

Jason Licht moved from Lovie to Dirk in order to help Jameis. But instead he stalled his progress.

What we should have done is keep Lovie/Koetter for another year. Then fire Lovie and get a Kyle Shannahan or a Sean McVay.

    A REAL football genius.

Dirk is so outdated in his play calling. MIKE SHULA CALLED BETTER PLAYS AGAINST THE PATRIOTS!!!

  71. Jasonbucs666 Says:

He sucked last night couldn’t hit the side of aircraft carrier

  72. BigBucFan11 Says:

I really don’t understand how anyone can call Jameis a bust. Like he was close to a record for most yards in his first two seasons in NFL history. I know passing has picked up but cut him some slack. He is the QB but he’s one man too. Missed throws only seem to be to Jackson who he just started working with. Brate had about 3 easy drops. The only play that I thought Jameis looked like a fool was the one that Harmon almost picked off but he dropped after jumping really high.

  73. JabooBuc Says:

There is something to the fact that Jameis may need to calm down before the game. I can’t think of another QB that does all the pregame stuff that he does. I appreciate the sentiment and desire to lead, but i want my QB to look calm and under control (how he looks usually in the 2nd half)

  74. Stud Says:

Last night was painfully obvious that Jameis Winston is not a FRANCHISE QB. And that Koetter and Mike Smith refuse to make in game adjustments until it’s too late, very Lovie Smith like.

Blame the kicker for missing a 56 yarder but Jameis was whiffing on 3rd down all night long, the Pats were defending the deep pass yet Koetter and Jameis kept going for those routes, that’s football 101, audible at the line #3! Call a slant, adjust the routes to beat the coverages. Does Jameis even go through his progressions or does he just throw to his predetermined read? Jackson, Brate, Evans, Howard, Humphries a d can’t double them all throw to the open receiver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On 3rd and short why does this guy keep heaving deep passes when he is awful at throwing deep? This is football 101, play to your strengths not your weaknesses.

NO EXCUSES Jameis is holding this offense back.

  75. Duke Says:

    Tval,

The Pats have a more down the field vertical game than the Bucs……….how is that ridiculous statement made? Did you watch the game? Real simple, go look at the passing charts for both teams. Brady rarely throws beyond 15 yrs. 4 to 5 a game JW attempted 20+ over 20 yrs. Wait, did the word vertical get a new definition yesterday? No……….then your perspective is entirely useless

  76. cgmaster Says:

No excuses stud? How about the 6 to dropped passes last night that Koetter spoke of today? Jameis is not holding this offense back and if you think that, you’re dumber than I thought. His stats are up a crossed the board. Last year, you all bitched about protecting the ball. He’s done that. Last year you all bitched about his completion percentage, that’s up. Some bucs fans are just insufferable. But you’ll be invisible form the message boards again when he does well.

For all the rats who think the reason we lost is Winston, you are dead wrong. He is the best we’ve ever had and will only get better. But if you believe different OK. Go root for one of the 31 other teams while we get better and better, make the playoffs and eventually compete for a superbowl. BL: if you have in fact “had it” or are “suck and tired” then bye. We don’t need flakey rats around. Go Bucs!

Gilhealy, nice assessment. A game we could have and no doubt should have won. I still faith (2-2) and am equally disappointed in many of the flakey posters claiming to understand football and know better than the gm and coaches.
