Grimes & McClain Officially Out Vs. Panthers

October 27th, 2017

Bucs will go deep on their bench

Hide the women and children.

Keep the pets out of kicking distance.

Get the family shrink on speed dial.

Your Buccaneers will play the Panthers on Sunday without two starting cornerbacks, Brent Grimes and Robert McClain. Grimes (shoulder) didn’t practice all week. McClain remains in the NFL concussion protocol after a hit late in last Sunday’s game against the Bills.

Grimes missed the Bucs’ second game of the season, in Minnesota, also with a shoulder injury. And the results were ugly as Ryan Smith filled in.

McClain, of course, replaced struggling Vernon Hargreaves in the starting lineup last week. Hargreaves had been booted to nickel corner and now seems destined to return to the outside.

Javien Elliott, last year’s nickel, has played little this season but is healthy.

Hmmm, so the Panthers have monster Kelvin Benjamin on the outside and the Bucs have the worst pass rush in the NFL.

Quite a test upcoming for defensive coordinator Mike Smith — and the will and pride of the Bucs’ defensive players.

Cornerback/special teams ace Josh Robinson also will the game, per the NFL concussion protocol.

  1. Lamarcus Says:

Msmith said Vh3 wanted to play off. Then McClain plays mooorree way off the receiver. The 3rd will lined up near the safety this week.

  2. Denver Buc fan Says:

    oh boy….

  3. Wausa Says:

Jamies may throw for 400 yards and 5 TD’s and we still loose.

  4. Dewey Selmon Says:

blitz, blitz, then blitz some more. unleash #54. make Scam Newton throw the ball before the WR’s can complete their routes.

  5. Easy Denman Says:

I fully expect on 3rd and short the corners to play off atleast 10 yards. Scam might put up 400 yards passing this weekend

  6. TheBucsAnthem Says:

stick a fork in the bucs this sunday

  7. Kobe Faker Says:

“If Javiion Elliot gets on VH3 shoulders and still be shorter than kevin bengimen…will we still be flagged 12 man on the field?”

    Kobe Faker

  8. C eh N eh D eh Says:

Ouch…Bucs have to score 40+ to win 🙁

  9. Terry muster Says:

McCaffery is going to go off on us Sunday. I’m not sure I will even watch the game. Been watching since day one. 38 13 Panthers.

  10. Bucamania Says:

I’m sure Smitty will devise a brilliant game to pressure Cam into making quick throws to help cover up deficiencies at CB.

    Or not.

  11. LakeLand Says:

They was giving up over 400 yards per game with them. It shouldn’t make a difference.

    ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yeah, I have the panthers scoring atleast 30 while the bucs put up 17.

But now I’m telling myself “don’t get pissed, don’t let it ruin the rest of your sunday either)

  13. Waterboy Says:

Well it’s looking like this will be another one that I can turn off at half-time.

  14. Tampa Bay Tailgater Says:

Bend but don’t break Defense…I don’t care if Cam throws for 500 yards…as long as we have one more point when the clock reads 00:00 I’ll be happy.

Smitty better start cracking open a case of red bull and 5hr energies this weekend.

Long drives…keep Cam on the sidelines.

Special Teams needs a splash play. (block FG/Punt, fumble, 45yd return)

Don’t give up 75 yards on 3 plays…make them earn it. If Jameis gets one one more possession than Cam, we win the game. We have the better Offense.

No one said this game was going to be easy.

  15. Pistol Pete Says:

No pressure up front, weak secondary just got exponentially weaker…..this is the kind of game that “rights the ship” for Carolina, while sinking ours. Pity because the offense has turned a corner, but can’t establish the run while playing from behind.
    #draftpick

  16. tmaxcon Says:

Joe, any chance the bucs can petition the league to allow stationary dummy cb pre positioned per play instead of allowing those fools to embarrass themselves all day. just thinking of their feelings and families

  17. Tampa Bay Tailgater Says:

    ^^^^^USUAL SUSPECT^^^^^

  18. tmaxcon Says:

    Tampa Bay Tailgater

you are just butt hurt that I might be on to something. hell the results can’t be much different

  19. JimmyJack Says:

McClain is no loss. We took the lead last week and all he did was choke. The guy didnt even know where he was supposted to be and it’s pretty easy to lose with guys like that.

of course he is not the only player guilty of th a on that side of the ball. It really dont matter who we put out there when they bring a losers mentality to the field.

  20. 813bucboi Says:

if you watched VHG vs the bills he had his best game as a pro….the difference was he was playing at the LOS….

smitty, let the cb’s play at the LOS all game!!!!!!….GO BUCS!!!

  21. Nick2 Says:

Where’s Rhonde? He and Simeon can come back!!

    Nick2

  22. Dewey Selmon Says:

JimmyJack is right McClain has been riding that Chicago pick 6 wave for 5 games.

  23. Dewey Selmon Says:

    813. Vernon was playing slot. There is a difference playing the LOS vs outside CB. But he did play better.

  24. Rrsrq Says:

In Ryan Smith we trust, breakout game, I can hope

  25. Tampa Bay Tailgater Says:

    TMAX….

Joe could post about how nice the weather will be Sunday and you will find a way to push your bs narrative about how the cancer of the d will make the weather gloomy. Please. Get over yourself.

A broken clock is right twice a day so keep swinging at pitches in the dirt and occasionally you’ll hit something. You add nothing to ponder for us fans. Just the same song on repeat. …you and the other Usual Suspects.

  26. Rrsrq Says:

Were the results any better when Ryan Smith didn’t play the last few weeks.

  27. JimmyJack Says:

813 makes a good point about Hargreaves. He made a few splash plays last year and I was expecting to see him Mark a few more………which currently he has made none.

Thinking back most(all?) of his game changing plays came from him defending plays that were shorter routes. Given the current state of how unprepared our defense looks I refuse to blame VHIII.

  28. Tampa Bay Tailgater Says:

    Rrsrq – EXACTLY!

As I mentioned in a previous post, there is possibility for someone to showcase their talent, ie. Malcolm Butler who was undrafted in 2014.

They are out there people, you just have to find them.

  29. Not there yet Says:

Doesn’t really matter who plays corner with that trash of a defensive scheme. Only thing that could help starters would be a pass rush so same applies for the backups. Change the defensive scheme up front to get some pressure and they have a chance.

Something a hate so much about Dr Jekyll Mr Hyde. Smiling on the football field and pouting at the podium after a loss. I hate when Tampa losses to the Panthers more so than any other team in the South

  30. tmaxcon Says:

    Tampa Bay Tailgater

i see things very clearly and only judge the win / loss result. nothing else matters and right now they are not getting it done. we all know the core problem.

  31. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    Since we don’t have a pass rush…..let’s rush 1…..have 4 LBs, 3 CBs & 3 Safeties…..

You ask…who would be our lone rusher?…….Tmax of course!!!

    813. Vernon was playing slot. There is a difference playing the LOS vs outside CB. But he did play better.

oh yeah there are differences no doubt but his strength is playing up at the LOS and being able to use his hands to jam and disrupt the wr….vs the bills he wasn’t thinking as much he was just playing…

at the very worse, its worth the try….the only cb that can play that style(soft coverage) on our roster is grimes…he’s the only one that can be effective playing off….let the others play man press….if we’re going to go down, I rather go down fighting vs letting the wr get a free release….GO BUCS!!!!

  33. JimmyJack Says:

right on not there……….with our corners healthy Palmer completed how many passes in a row, 20?…….. Then the Cards get shutout last week showcasing how much better we made them look then they really are.

Case Keenum is another great example…………heck even Mike Glennon was perfect on his 1st drive and you could make the argument that he beat himself…..not the other way around.

The problem here is that your right about our scheme which is proven to not work on most gamedays……….but it doesn’t end there. Aside from that we lack any attitude or confidence which leads to missed tackles and flatfooted play………..and even if we fix all that what are we going to do about defenders getting caught on tape missing their assignments.

Mike Smith has been here 2 years and we look worse then pre-season form………This guy belongs somewhere near the top of the long list of biggest failures ever involved with this orginization.

  34. Duke Says:

Having the CB’ s play press at the los ?????? Did I miss something , like this defense being able to get to pressure on the QB. If I did and we can. Carry on.
If not then playing press man is the most stupid f in idea in the world.
If you think it’s a good idea you should watch the box set of golden girls Sunday afternoon because football is not your thing.

    Press man……lol.lol…

  35. JimmyJack Says:

Yeah Vernon was playing nickel corner which in this defense gets him up on the line. That’s surely a good reason why he played well because playing bump coverage is his strenght.

Problem is that he’s not going to be that effective against a lot of teams playing slot depending on their makeup. But that doesn’t mean he’s going to struggle at outside corner if they play him in tight coverage…………This is where Smith needs to adjust. He doesn’t want Vernon tight because that’s not his scheme. A better coach would be able to figure out how to adjust his scheme to fit the mold of his players best abilities.

I’d like to see an adjustment made………maybe not this week if they want to use his to shut down McCaffery………but it’s wasting Vernons talent to have him as a nickle corner against a lot of teams…….and it’s wasteful to have VHIII playing soft coverage. I know we have more talent on this D then league worst……..especially when you consider the not-so-great offenses we have squared off against. It’s up to the coach to fix this mess

  36. 813bucboi Says:

    Duke Says:

Having the CB’ s play press at the los ?????? Did I miss something

you must have missed VHG have his best game as a pro….at least in man coverage the windows would be tighter even if the qb had all day….in man coverage the pass has to be perfect or close to it….I rather the qb try to fit the ball into a tiny window vs fitting it into a car garage…GO BUCS!!!!

  37. 813bucboi Says:

but it’s wasting Vernons talent to have him as a nickle corner against a lot of teams…….and it’s wasteful to have VHIII playing soft coverage.

    BINGO…I 100% AGREE!!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!

  38. JimmyJack Says:

Duke…….I can see your point but don’t you think our lack of QB pressure could be attributed with the fact that we stay in a steady straight 4 man rush nearly every snap. Now granted, we showed some new looks last week but that didn’t work either did it.

The point is we stay in our generic 4 man pressure and it does not work with our line. Smith needs to adjust and he simply isn’t doing it. Same thing can be said for our coverage. His generic soft zones are getting shredded and will continue to get shredded when we keep showing the same look. The freaking defense is broke and not getting fixed. Its almost like the coach doesnt care…………same thing with Dirk and his putrid first Half offense that digs us a hole each and every week.

  39. 813bucboi Says:

    ^^^…JIMMYJACK^^^

agree with everything we’ve said….I see where @duke is coming from but you have to switch things up….at the very least put something out on the field that the opposing team hasn’t seen before and make them adjust….teams know we have no pass rush…teams know we play a soft zone….mix it up….surprise them…surprise us…

but your right, its as if smitty’s like “we don’t have a pass rusher so screw this season”….but we cb’s that can blitz…LB’s that can blitz….GO BUCS!!!!

  40. JimmyJack Says:

All I know is that when Dirk got here we were horrible in goal line offense. we were horrible in providing 1st half points we had problems connecting on deep throws and we couldn’t make FGs.

Since Smith got here we have been pushover on goal line Defense we couldn’t stop 3rd and long effectively we couldn’t rush the QB our run stop was ineffective and our secondary didn’t make many plays on the ball.

Not one of these problems has been addressed………If I’m wrong then somebody correct me.

There is no excuse for this team to have the same problems year after year. I have no confidence that this staff can figure it out. I dam sure know it shouldn’t take this long. IMO we will never wi anything with this coaching staff……….You can take this #1 offense and stuff it because sometimes converting 3rd and 1 is the only yard that matters no matter how many stats you can acquire………..This coaching staff either don’t know how to fix problems or they have their priorities backwards.

In either case this team blows and thinking you will see any different next Sunday or next year is just flat foolish.

  41. Broy34isTiredofNegativity(GoAwayMaxi) Says:

Can the trolls go back under the bridge

And yes 813 I said the exact same thing. But once again the site runners go on several podcasts complaining about Hargreaves when the reality is he hands down played his best game. Zero catches allowed. Yes I want him elite. He is not at the moment. But instead of complaining about his regression. Talk about the progression he made. He made a simple adjustment and it worked tremendously. HE PLAYED UP ON HIS MAN. I’m already regaining confidence if he continues this

  42. Roy T. Buford Says:

Well, we’ve been losing with the starters, though Grimes hasn’t been bad. So, backups in who are motivated to do well certainly have to be as good (or bad) as the starters who don’t seem to mentally come out of the tunnel.

  43. pick6 Says:

i think justin smith will be busy helping these CBs vs those monster WRs. The good news is that for all of Cam’s arm talent he still is super inconsistent getting the ball where it ought to go. He’s not as capable of shredding these buc defenses as less talented but more accurate guys like case keenum and derek anderson have in the past. those guys tend to take what the defense gives them, which with the bucs is generally alot. players like Cam (and Jameis if we’re being real) will pass up those layups and instead try the kind of throws that dare the defense to make a play. pass rush, coverage, whatever….the defense needs to end a few drives with turnovers for the bucs to win

  44. PRBucFan Says:

    Time to get dookied on

  45. JimmyJack Says:

Yeah 813………I’m starting to think that Smith just flat out dropped the ball on training this team. It’s like he didn’t have any game plan prepared if our 4man front was ineffective.

At this point I’m guessing he hedged his bet that our front 4 could provide a push. He lost his bet and the team isn’t prepared to adjust………He was the wrong guy for the job. I’m sure his defense could work somewhere else with different players but it’s been a laughing stock with no signs of life…………..Our only hope is if Kwon can make that big of an impact. It was clear to me he was not ready last week which was another failure from Smith to keep an ineffective player on the grass.

All i know is the only hope this team has is from its players. This coach is not good enough to bail us out

  46. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    @ JimmyJack

    Well………..

Mike Smith is a good coach

Dirk Koetter is a good coach

People are looking to point the finger at anyone or anything right and rightfully so because of the record and performance.

    But I honestly don’t think it’s coaching….

I think truly it is a personnel issue now…..

The defense just doesn’t have enough talented players on the D-Line and definitely not in the Secondary either.

It took time to develop LVD and Kwon into stars…like four years into the league.

    – We have not drafted any good players on the line.
    – Vernon “Mashmellow” graves was supposed to be the successor to Brent Grimes but now it’s looking like fits the mold of a bust from the 1st round…just average to below average…definitely will never be a shut down corner
    – Gholston is not working out a DE
    – Ayers has regressed
    – ……and don’t even get me started on Fatty Baker (why didn’t someone talk to redskin players about this loafer???)

So there you have it…….a perfect storm to a perfect mess of player not performing …..hence what we see now.

Come this time next year, this defense will looked totally different with personnel because Koetter and Licht will clean house and get the people we need in here.

…..and don’t blame this on coaching or the GM because the GM cannot address every position with the players they truly wanted either.

If you haven’t heard yet, the GM was frantically trying to find trade partners to trade up for a RB during last year’s draft, but I guess he couldn’t get a deal done…….so he had no choice but to get Jeremy McChicken. The fact that OJ Howard landed in the BUCS lap is truly amazing and there are 31 other teams now wishing the soon to be STAR TE……..

So…..we night as well enjoy another crappy season along with another top 10 drafted pick……because it’s coming boys n girls!!!! 🙂

  47. PRBucFan Says:

lol again people refuse to recognize the shi++y player efforts across the board

The men get paid too do their job and they need to be held accountable for their lack of passion on the field.

Coaches may have dropped the ball but the players have dropped it just as badly apart from a few efforts.

  48. PRBucFan Says:

    These* To*

  49. JimmyJack Says:

@Broy34………It was nice to see VHIII rebound last week. That’s one quality I really like about Vernon is his ability to rebound…..IMO that’s a big deal with the CB position.

But you know what is really messed up with that switch is the guy who ‘re
laced him on the outside……….McClain played decently all game til the Bills went on that infamous 3 play drive………..I’m not sure how many stacked reciever sets they showed us all game(that may have been the only one) but that was the look they gave us on the big play down the sideline.

And who didn’t know that he was supported to cover the sideline on that play? Vernon replacement………..That’s That’s pure lack of preparation and it falls back on coaching.

It’s a broken record with this team that we get out coached weekly. This is nothing new since Dirk got here, he’s not a good HC.

  50. JimmyJack Says:

Anthem. Dirk has not done anything to suggest he is a good HC. Good Coordinator? Perhaps.

But he is doing nothing to prove he is a good HC in this league. There is a reason we were a darling pick to make the playoffs this year and it’s because we have the personall.

Nobody was picking us before the season because of Dirk.

He was outcaoched last year when we had a legit shot to make the playoffs against Dallas last year………and when we still had a shot to stay alive against New Orleans his team came out with no confidence and played flat…….against the very same team we had previously manhandle Thats because New Orleans adjusted, i.e. out coached again. We were a better team that played unprepared football.

this year…..out coached by NE, Buf, and Arizona…….Minn was a trainwreck.

Dirk, a good HC……..the proof is in the pudding

  51. TheBucsAnthem Says:

    @ JimmyJack

…….and you don’t think it has anything to do with personnel????

Justin Evans said something that I thought I’d never hear from a rookie player and he said it’s the PLAYERS RESPONSIBILITY to perform the schemes…..and that Sir is 100% true.

There’s lots of Super Bowl winning coaches that has gotten fired like Jimmy Johnson…………..are you telling me they all of a sudden turned into bad coaches??????? I don’t think so…………….

  52. JimmyJack Says:

Anthem if Dirk is a good HC then why are we a bottom team with 3rd and 1……..on both sides of the ball. Why can’t our offense score points in the 1st half? Why can’t we kick FGs? Why are we a bottom team in passrush? Why is our run stop inconsistent? Why are our corner not in position to make plays on the ball?

Each one of these issues have gone undressed since Dirk has been here. Good HCs fix issues. If he doesn’t have to get our team to play better in our weak areas to be considered a good HC then please tell me why you are calling him a good HC.

Because last time I checked all these issues are losing us games and I always thought coaches were judged by their teams ability to win.

  53. JimmyJack Says:

And if Dirk really is a good HC as you claim hi to be then you have to say that Licht is the culprit and hindering Dirks team.

It’s just not possible for the management of a team to be any good when they cannot fix the same repeated problems that are losing us games.

  54. JimmyJack Says:

And about Mike Smith he may be a good coach but you can’t tell me he’s good for this team.

It’s no mystery that this defense has some holes but we are last in the league right now. We are the worst team in football. It’s clear that Mike Smith is not the right guy to lead this team. His unit is not just bad, they are getting dominated.

Smith has been here two years and they are only getting worse. It’s clear that another coach with a different game plan could get more out of this defense. How in the world could you look at the worst defense in the league and thing the coach is doing a good job?

I know we don’t have the best players in the league on that side of the ball but they are completely ineffective. I can agree the players are failing but major problems that go unfixed and having awful defense year after year start and end with coaching. This defense is poorly coached right now……….I kinda thought that went without saying

  55. PRBucFan Says:

So are you saying you hate everything about the team Jimmy? lol

  56. FortMyersDave Says:

Seems like the Bucs should get blasted yet Vegas has kept this game as Tampa as a 2 point favorite. Maybe it moves to the Panthers by 3 or so but that takes huge coin to move the line that much and the wise guys are laying off of it for now. So my advice to all who think Tampa will lose like the fins did on Thursday: bet heavily on Carolina before the line moves!

  57. JimmyJack Says:

no Puerto Rico…….. I think we have a lot of talent. It just pains me to see this team underachieve……….I can’t get the game vs Seattle last year out of my mind.

IMO that’s was the lone time I saw this team play to their top potential. Since then I have been waiting to see that team again…….week after week after week go by and that team refuses to show themselves.

Oh wait I must correct myself because I forgot how solidly we played last year vs the Raiders last year and vs the skin’s in 2015………Nevermind, we were so mentally weak that we managed to pull off two of the biggest chokes in franchise history.

Well coached teateams rarely choke as badly as those 2 games………I’m all for trying to forgive and forget those epic chokejobs. As soon as they showing me that’s not who they are just please let me know.

  58. FortMyersDave Says:

Checked Vegas lines, they have moved but just a little now most are Tampa -1 or 1.5 at -120. One went to a push but at Tampa -130. So again, all Buc fans including Jo ie who are certain the Bucs will lose 40-10 or so should load up. Why not? Make some coin while Mike Smith still has a job. Heck too bad everyone did not bet the under on the win total. Right now 4-12 seems likely and that is 4 wins under the Vegas line. Love to see the Bucs win but this team seems like a 4-12 team, not one of those Hugh Culverhouse like teams that has no talent but more like a team with some good talent but so many holes that other teams are exploited. Like Gruden’s 4-12 team of a decade ago that got the Bucs to pick 4th and get Gaines Adams, another fine first round pick from One Buc…..

  59. FortMyersDave Says:

Jimmy Jack has a point. Last year the Bucs played well at KC and vs Seattle. Some of the other wins were the Bucs taking advantage of other teams circling the drain like the 2 wins over Carolina or at SD. At SD they played like the Bills game but made mistakes at Buffalo and got the L while last year SD made the mistake. The Carolina games were like the NE game but the Bucs did a Folk this year and last year the Bucs lucked out in Carolina with Aguoyo and at home River Ron went for 2 and lost. Team won the garbage games last year, this year they have lost the close garbage game except for the NYG game which Folk tried to lose…

  60. PRBucFan Says:

I agree man coaching really has to step it up and change something, I doubt if they stay the same they will remain around much longer. The players really have to step it up too.

  61. JimmyJack Says:

Yeah Fort……..expect th a line to keep moving that way. Half our secondary just got ruled out so that’s gonna shift a lot of dough to the Panthers side……..Don’t expect that line to start ng back the other way unless it starts moving rapidly

  62. yrbndr Says:

@tmax who is your team? Not the Bucs obviously! You obviously relish in your negativity!

  63. TampaTown Says:

Is it going to be 21-0 by the end of the first quarter like in AZ? I think I’m going to cry.

  64. NFLNut Says:

Panthers 34-23 is my prediction … and it sure as heck will NOT be because Cam is a better QB than Jameis as he’s not on Jameis’ level … it will once again be because the Bucs defense is GARBAGE

  65. FortMyersDave Says:

yrbndr: the cat you mentioned is one of a handful of faithful JBF posters who are fixated on posting negativity on every thread. A few want the GM and/or the coaching staff canned, a couple hate Winston, one brags about selling his season tickets to opposing fans and this guy has it in for GMC and will take any thread and present this argument. I get being critical, a lot of us are as the team is 2-4 and should be 4-2 with a competent kicker and perhaps a couple of adjustments on defense. Someone has to be held accountable as was Lovie, Schiano, Rah, Marc Domnick, Josh Freeman, etc. etc but nonetheless 90% of the posters are diehard Buc fans, just mad as hell over the garbage we have seen on the field year after year since Gruden got canned with a few exceptions like the 10-6 2010 season and last year. Still a few posters like are truly trolls, just here to flame and should be treated as comic relief….

  66. Season Is Over Says:

Just so I have this correct. This article fails to point out that the only corners left on the roster are Elliot, Hargreaves, Olatoye and Smith. There will be only one substitution player? No one to sub on four wide-out sets. There seems to be something seriously wrong with this team. These guys will be gassed by halftime considering they never come off the field.

  67. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

JimmyJack, you pick out the obvious areas this team is bad at and say there was no improvement.

But the truth is that all areas of this team were horrible before Dirk came. To say this team has not steadily improved is a straight out lie. The problem is not Dirk Koetter. Nor is it Mike Smith.

It’s lack of talent in key areas of the defense.

And really, you cannot even blame Jason Licht for that because building around the franchise QB had to take priority in the draft.

We can complain about the free agents until we are blue in the face, but he cannot force the good ones to come to Tampa. Nor can he overpay with the upcoming offensive contracts coming after this year.

  68. FortMyersDave Says:

Just noticed an addition to the Carolina practice squad: Roberto Aguoyo! Apparently the Panthers normal kicker Gano is banged up enough to be questonable for Sunday and the Panthers are bringing Aguoyo to Tampa as insurance. Sure hope he kicks like he did in pre-season and last year’s loss to the Rams if he gets the call.

Season is over: it would seem logical that the Bucs would call someone up from the practice squad for depth and to take a spot on special teams that a couple of these corners probably played before the Bucs decided that Grimes and McClain are no goes but then again one would think the Bucs would have addressed these glaring weaknesses before now????

  69. TouchDownTampaBay Says:

BucsAnthem – resign yourself, that is the key. I actually had done this during the second half of the Bills game. I calmness came over me and I realized they just aren’t a good football team this year. I actually was about to turn off the game and go to the store when they reeled me back in by making a game of it. I am going to the game tomorrow. My plan is to drink a lot of beer and just shrug off what seems inevitable at this point. I can’t imagine we can put up enough points considering what is about to happen to our raggedy ass defense!
