Report: Expect Kwon To Play

September 17th, 2017

Update on status.

Seems there has been a report on the status of Bucs middle linebacker Kwon Alexander.

This week, Alexander was limited in practice due to a mysterious illness and on Friday’s injury report, Alexander was listed as questionable.

No less an authority than Adam Schefter of BSPN Twittered out early this morning that Bucs fans should remain calm. All should be well. Schefter said Alexender is expected to play, per a source.

So there you have it. The starting linebackers for the Bucs today should be Lavonte David, Kendell Beckwith and Alexander.

Schefter also reported Bears running back Jordan Howard, listed on the Bears injury report as questionable Friday, is expected to play today.

Kickoff is almost here, folks.

Can’t wait! So far the football Gods have been kind to Florida with USF pounding Lovie’s Illini via Heisman darkhorse Quinton Flowers and the Gators taking advantage of so many amazingly dumb play calls by the Vol coaches, a Gator Chomp personal foul on the Vol RB and some Aguayo like kicking from UT to pull off an amazing hail mary win up in the Swamp. Here is to the Bucs finishing the trifecta! Would not hurt my feelings to see the Jags school Mariota as well to make it a superfecta and shut up the “Mariota over Winston” crowd for awhile though I have to admit I am a bit indifferent about those stinking fish from Miami…… Go Bucs!

Play for us who will not get to see the game because of Irma! Please win!

I wonder how fast the whiners and the doomsayers will come out this afternoon.

Good luck running the ball effectively with the speed we have at linebacker to get to the edge and the pressure that we should theoretically get up the middle with McCoy and Baker
