Happy to see Bobo cut after the way he came off on Hard Knocks.

  2. Anthony Miara Says:

I agree Bobo had to go! What a jerk!

  3. Mike Says:

Haven’t seen it yet, what did Bobo do? Everyone seems to not like the guy…

  4. Rod Munch Says:

Just a reminder that last year the Bucs started at WR both Vincent Jackson and Cecil Shorts for a combined 10 games.

    How times have changed.

Kind of shocked no one even called VJ to see what he was doing – or maybe someone did and he didn’t take the call.

  5. Rod Munch Says:

Now the team has to go through the cuts of everyone looking for corners.

  6. RayJameisStadium Says:

He needs to have an attitude adjustment. Bobo forgot he was applying for a job that might bring him millions of dollars. He thought he was still in college.

Tomorrow morning might be a good wake up call for him.

    Hopefully he finished college.

  7. K_bassuka Says:

Damn one more, cut Fitzpatrick please.

  8. Joe Says:

Haven’t seen it yet, what did Bobo do?

    Watch “Hard Knocks,” Episode 3.

  9. TampaTown Says:

So they cut BOTH long snappers? What’s up with that?

  10. Brandon Says:

    Who is the longsnapper?

  11. Cobraboy Says:

@TampaTown: the current surviving 53 is not the final 53. I suspect the pro player scouting department is working overtime sifting through the cuts to see what can be skimmed off the top.

No doubt a LS is there somewhere, maybe with back-up OL cred. Don’t be surprised if one of the LS cut comes back.

It ain’t over. It’s just getting interesting.

  12. Cobraboy Says:

FWIW, there isn’t one cut that surprised me.

  13. Wesley Says:

That Hansbrough kid has some skill. Also Walker wasn’t given enough of a chance.

  14. Bucs_in_Spain Says:

Cutting both long snappers is surprising. Option a) Glanton is a full time long snapper. Option b) once Ryan Griffin (or Jacquies Smith) goes on IR we bring back one (probably Sanborn). Option 3) as others have mentioned, pick up a long snapper from other cuts, but that still requires sticking players on IR or cutting more players.

I’ve honestly never been this intrigued by the long snapping game.

  15. Q Says:

You can bash bono but the man did make it to the NFL level…good luck bobo

  16. Baz Says:

Don’t sweat the long snapper stuff. There will be a transaction involving Ryan Griffin tomorrow which will open up a roster spot, and they’ll resign one of the long snappers then.

  17. NJBucsFan Says:

@TampaTony – we have to wait one day for Griffin to be on the 53 then we can put him on the IR without subject to waivers. I’m sure we have a wink wink agreement with one of them to come back after that

  18. TampaTown Says:

    @NJBucsFan:
Spoken like a true Jersey guy!

  19. BigMacAttack Says:

Hopefully Bobo will wake up. He’s a talented kid but that attitude won’t even land a BestBuy job.

  20. BuccaneEric75 Says:

Since we don’t have a long snapper I guess that means we’ll cut Anger soon. I never was happy when we had to punt anyway!😜

  21. Brandon Hendricks Says:

The only move I don’t get is why keep an injured defensive end in Jacques Smith and release a high upside motor guy in Riley Bullough? Practice squad at least?!? Curious to see the Hard Knocks coverage. #StickCarrier
