Bucs No. 7
July 25th, 2017Now this is interesting.
If it is July, that means California train-romancing, anti-football proliferation, outhouse-admiring, airline-napping, steerage-flying, Yogi Berra-worshiping, urinal picture-taking, video game-playing, Taylor Swift-listening, pickpocket-thwarting, Bucs-uniform-frowning, Allie-LaForce-smitten, Big-Ten-Network-hating, pedestrian-bumping, olive oil-lapping, popcorn-munching, coffee-slurping, fried-chicken-eating, oatmeal-loving, circle-jerking, craft beer-chugging, cricket-watching, scone-loathing, college football-naïve, baseball-box-score-reading, NPR-honk, filthy-hotel-staying, fight-instigating, barista-training Peter King, of Sports Illustrated and NBC Sports fame, is taking a siesta.
It’s a rite of summer.
So in his place at theMMQB.com typing King’s weekly Monday tome is Robert Klemko. The column is sort of OK but in doing what his boss does weekly, Klemko picked a “Fine Fifteen,” in other words, ranking his top 15 NFL teams.
Klemko has the Bucs at No. 7.
Improved by three wins a year ago, compared to 2015, with Mike Evans leading the league in targets. The addition of rookie tight end O.J. Howard and vet receiver DeSean Jackson makes the Bucs my breakout pick.
Joe cannot remember the last time the Bucs were in the theMMQB’s top 10. This just shows how on the radar the Bucs are nationally.
This season ought to be fun!

The ONLY team in the NFL that I think is “obviously better” than Tampa is New England … and maybe Pittsburgh, but that’s it … there is not a single NFC team that I think is “obviously better”.

@NFLNut
I agree. Super Bowl or bust!
NFC South will send it’s third team to the big game, and it won’t be the Ain’ts!

Yeah Baby!!!
We will own the NFC South. We have the best defense in the NFC South! Our offense will go toe to toe with all of them.
