Kwon Issues Warning

March 28th, 2017

Beware.

In short, Bucs stud middle linebacker Kwon Alexander is ready for some football.

Occasionally, Kwon will Twitter out something that says, in so many words, he lies awake at night anticipating throwing on pads and snapping on a chin strap and knocking heads against a foe.

Last night, Kwon made no secret of a mission he is on this fall. Bucs opponents best take notice.

This is cool as hell and it fired Joe up. OTAs haven’t even started, baseball season hasn’t even started, strawberries are still in season and Joe is already chomping for football to begin, real football.

Kwon’s ready for some football. Are you ready?

  6. Nole on Sat.-Bucc on Sun. Says:

Love it man. Young man can’t get enough football. The passion similar to Ray Lewis. I wish he would’ve loaded the hit on the cowboys O linemen on the sideline. Talking bout bringing that wood..

  8. The Buc Realist Says:

It was so nice to see the clip from last year and the players getting better from having the “lovie coached out of them” from Defensive Coordinator Smitty!!!!!!

But for all those that are ready for a football game tomorrow, will be missing one of the most exciting weeks of offseason this week!!!!! IF you know how to pickup on hints and read between the lines, you can learn a lot of the direction of the football team, the evaluation of the team!!!!! There is a reason why Joe and Eye-rah flew over there!!!!

    GO Bucs!!!!!!!

  9. Joe Says:

    “lovie coached out of them”

Joe knows that quote was inspired by Thomas 2.2. Joe misses him. 🙁

  10. The Buc Realist Says:

    @Joe

It was!!! The Greatest Poster of all time, Thomas 2.2!!!!! With the “coach the rah out of them!!!!!!! And it might of happened, But we all know that no coach can win with dominick as GM!!!!!!!

    Throw back Tuesday!!!!!

Well, I guess I am glad that you are at least listening to Pat Kirwan!!! Even though I have been telling you the same thing for a while now!!! This year is about coaching the lovie out of them!!!! Some they will be able to coach up and some will be replaced!!!!! Its time to see who wants to win around here!!!!

    The culture is changing!!!!!

    @813bucboi

“what makes you think dirk will?…”

Great Question!!!!! I think that this coaching staff will succeed because, Accountability is more than just a word!!! When they told ASJ that he was cut, he said “But I am a second rounder” and do you know what the answer was “SO”!!!!!!!!

I have seen teachable moment opportunities taken advantage of from this staff!!!! Coach Smitty is telling the defense in meeting rooms and press conferences that it is not good enough and not acceptable!!!!!

What did we hear for 2 years before that!!!! Excuses!!!! and that bleeds onto the players!!!!

I ask you to watch in great detail what happens during the bye-week and that very game coming out of the bye-week!!!! that is a measuring stick for coaching!!!!!

@813bucboi, we want the same thing!!!! we both want the Bucs to be successful!!!

    Go Bucs!!!!!

  11. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Says:

    I miss Thomas 2.2 too.

  12. Joe Says:

  13. Destinjohnny Says:

We need another lsu backer in this years draft

  14. Capt.Tim Says:

Kwon is definitely being ignored by national media, and Probowl voters.
This young man Brings it- every game
Winning should help getting his skills recognized.

Excited to see him, with some more skilled help!

  15. Bucballbaby84 Says:

Love everything about this kid! He is going to be a pro bowler eventually for sure! Even though he should already be one. Go Bucs!!!!

  16. LargoBuc Says:

Ohh I think they like me

  17. LargoBuc Says:

Cam can keep his dab. I prefer to….HIT THE KWON!…Anyday!
But seriously, keep doubting Kwon. Keep overlooking him. Its just going to hurt them more in the long run. Meanwhile in Tampa we’re sitting here with the “I told you so” ready.

  18. Buc Dat Says:

Next Jersey has to be Kwon in white.

  19. Bucsfanman Says:

To be fair guys, he might be “getting overlooked” because of his “sports drinks” issue. Not to mention that despite having decent stats, the defense as a WHOLE last year did not play well until like week 7 or 8.
He’s OUR guy and I love his fire. Lets just not get too carried away with the honor heaping yet. Year 3 there is still lots of work to be done. He ain’t Ray Lewis yet!

  20. gotbbucs Says:

I’m just going to throw this possibility out there. How terrifying of a LB unit would this team have if by chance Haasan Reddick were to be the Bucs pick? He’s a Sam LB on early downs and an edge rusher in nickel. 12.5 sacks and I believe 22.5 tackles for loss last year.
If he’s on the board at 19, a big if, serious thought needs to be put into that idea. I’ve been watching alot of videos on him, this would be a scary nickel package with Haasan and Noah coming off the edge.

Oh, and I love Kwon. The guy is just a cold blooded killer.

  21. NFLNut Says:

With Jameis, Evans and Kwon, not to mention Marpet/Smith, Hargreaves and Spence I feel the Bucs have the best “young 7” in the entire NFL and the future is insanely bright.

  22. 813bucboi Says:

licht now go get jarrad davis…..that will give us the best linebacker group in the league while also giving us flexibility, versatility and the ability to disguise the defense…..big enough(6’2/240) to come off the edge and rush the passer…strong enough to be a hammer in run support….athletic enough to run with te’s in coverage….and smart enough to play all 3 linebacker position in case of injury…..flexibility, versatility and availability are 3 things we need on the defense….GO BUCS!!!!

  23. firethecannons Says:

he chased julio till he was there and then he took the ball and it was just the beginning

  24. James Walker Says:

Is that #79 Gilliam from the Seahawks? Kwon is 4 inches shorter, 85 pounds lighter, plus Gilliam is 26 and Kwon is 22!

  25. Dooshlarue Says:

Maybe GMC inspired him and he’s referring to even more ice cream parties this year.

  26. Fran Smith Says:

    Lets F’n gooooooo

  27. unbelievable Says:

    Beasting!
