  1. Harry in Costa Rica Says:

I voted “very confident”. It would have been totally confident if I believed he would stop being cute with picks such as moving up to get Sims when we needed Olinemen, or moving up to take RA, when we needed WR, another DE, and S.

Licht is most definitely good at his job, and I hope we keep him around for a long time. I just think he outsmarts himself sometimes.

  2. Jolly Bucs Fan Says:

    Similar to Harry,

Very confident. Would have been totally confident if licht hadnt traded up for a kicker.

  3. The Buc Realist Says:

I am “Totally Confident” with NFL GM Jason Licht with Head Coach Koetter and Defensive Guru Coach Smitty giving him input!!!!!!

What Job those 3 have done and what a difference Good Coaching has made on this team!!! I was very excited all year and I was not disappointed!!!! Its really just the start!!! This offseason and 2017 will be something to look forward too!!!!!!

This roster this year has really drawn the line of “who wants more” and ” winning seasons are not enough” from the players that are just happy to be there and excited just to wear a NFL Jersey!!!!

Pay attention Buc Fans, The Real foundation and just been formed this year!!!!

    Exciting Times Indeed!!!!!!!!!

    GO BUCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Says:

I voted confident, overall. Jason is doing a good job.

  5. Nole on Sat- Bucc on Sun Says:

We stuck on the fact that a kicker was taken that will be kicking for Tampa for a long long time.

  6. Nole on Sat- Bucc on Sun Says:

Very confident by the way. We didn’t see the 4 verticals offense this season. We’ll see it starting next once we acquire the tools needed to properly operate the system.

  7. DB55 Says:

Confident, he lost cool points for not signing Boldin or another receiving weapon.

  8. The Buc Realist Says:

    @Nos-Bos

No we about that! Is it more than the traditional value, yes. But at some point they will have to look at the bottom line and ask is he helping his team, and not where he was drafted!!!!

Makes you wonder if the same people over paid for their house and hate their house the whole time they live in it???

  9. Nole on Sat- Bucc on Sun Says:

You’re right Realist!!! I’ve been saying for weeks we’ve taken a step but patience is still required. 2014 people complained about the o line the next draft he took two back to back. The folding season people complained about defense he took two defenders back to back. This year we are beckoning more offensive weapons trust me he’ll be taking two back to back. Can’t judge the imagery of the puzzle until its complete.

  10. Nole on Sat- Bucc on Sun Says:

    I hear you bro.

  11. WhatdaBUCisthis Says:

Confident for me…F/A will be telling this of season. Hoping they want to come play with Jameis & Kwon

  12. Pickgrin Says:

Just look at the difference in young talent on this team now vs 2 years & 11 months ago when Jason Licht stepped into the building. Nuff said

    “Totally Confident”

  13. Bculaw Says:

Exactly, Pickgrin. The youth is also why we, as fans, must remain patient (as hard is it may be given the last decade of depression). Even next season, we will still have the youngest starting QB in the league, a 23 yo running the defense, and likely 1-3 year players at key positions on both sides of the ball. They will be talented, no doubt, but inexperienced. I think we are realistically still 2-3 years away from being true contenders, but I would love to be wrong.

The good news is that this talented core of young players should be together for the next 10 years. It should be an exciting time to be a Bucs fan, and this year was just the beginning.

  14. SofloBucsfan Says:

I voted very confident. When you see his history of picks and signings, more often than not they are solid pick ups. He makes some questionable choices but I trust him, a helluva lot more than our past GM’s

  15. tmaxcon Says:

The young bucs give me hope. I’m confident in Licht and very confident in koetter that being said I have zero confidence in the hold over former paper stars. You have some house cleaning to do Mr Licht. Go to work

    No More Soft Serv

  16. BucscsQcCity Says:

Very confident. The Aguayo trade instead of going for Von Bell in last draft cost him a notch on my trust scale.

  17. Buccfan37 Says:

Just plain confident is confidence enough for me.

  18. The bucfan 88 Says:

We I’m totally confident he drafted us three pro bowl players in his three years here I’ll admit I’m the beginning he was a little shaky with Colins & Johnson & he’s still learning but it’s not like his mistakes set the team back like mark by trading for revis or not drafting Luke yes he did draft a kicker in the second round but give The kid more time he get it plus if we do what we supposed to do in the offseason he won’t even be a factor so yes I’m totally confident

  19. University of Seffner Says:

I’m very confident that Jason Licht is building a team that will be consistently competing for Championships in the future. The only question I have is where is a time machine that can show me how the Bucs will be in the future. I bet it’s a good sight.

  20. Trubucfan22 Says:

I votes really confident, but that is kind of a lie. I am very irritated that licht completely ignored our offense last off season. No new weapons for Winston? That was a disgusting oversite and probably cost us a playoff berth. you have to surround your young QB with talented players. He can’t get into the mindset that he has to do it all his own because there is no one else that can make a play. He needs to have confidence in his team and not feel the need to do more than he should. I think it was a horrible decision, and could have a much worse consequence than just missing the playoffs.

  21. Trubucfan22 Says:

I think he is making good moves with the ones he’s making lately, but it’s someimes the moves you don’t make that come back to hurt.

  22. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Confident. That’s an upgrade from me, given because more free agents worked out this year…kind of. Namely Grimes and Anger.

Ayers is pretty cool, but his stats are not there.

  23. mike10 Says:

    I voted confident.

    Bad:
Didn’t like trading up for the kicker w so many holes along both lines and at WR.

On trades I feel we get shafted. Trading back in 2016 first rd to get a 4th rd pick, NYG won that trade.

FAs are vastly overpaid: cough, cough Sweezy

Resigned players are overpaid with contract that aren’t incentive-based: McCoy, Martin, David

Inflated expectation of certain positions and therefore ignoring addressing it in the offseason: Safety, DL, RB, WR

    Good:
Some great draft picks: Kwon, Marpet, Evans, and Ryan Smith.

Good communication between coaches to bring in versatile players that don’t get pigeon holed to a single position and/or allow patience for their development: Ayers, Hargreaves, Spence.

Some good FAs: Anger, Ayers, Rogers

  24. mike10 Says:

Man, I didn’t even mention the abysmal pickups 2 years ago. Let’s just pretend those didn’t happen.. I’ll give him a pass his first yr

  25. Amar Says:

I would have voted ‘totally confident’ if it was a comparison to our previous regimes but I went with ‘very confident’ considering we have many holes and as long as we hit on AT LEAST 2 (which still isn’t much) but it’s an improvement from what we had before Licht.

    Go Bucs!
