Today, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, used his weekly platform to lobby for his tight end, Cam Brate, to be voted to the Pro Bowl.

Tonight, the results will be released.

And despite the fact Jameis ordered his entire family to go all Chicago and vote early and often, no one knows if Brate will make it.

And guess who doesn’t care? That would be Brate himself.

Currently the top tight end in touchdown catches with seven, tied with Hunter Henry of Tennessee, Brate swore to Joe in the Bucs locker room this afternoon the Pro Bowl is the farthest thing from his mind.

“Where we are at in the season, individual accolades don’t really matter right now,” the Harvard man said. “It would be be cool, but, whatever.”

Brate noted Jameis told him his family was going to stuff the online ballot box on his behalf.

“I will take all the support I can get,” Brate said. “That was nice of him.”

Hunter Henry plays for San Diego, not Tennessee

Brate took a big hit early in the Cowboy game. Kept on ticking. How can a Buc fan not be pleased with his season long contributions? Reliable and steady player. Go Brate!
