I’ve said all along, after Lovie was fired, Koetter was the wrong choice. I still say that. There were far better, more experienced choices out there. I’m not buying the koetter/Winston developmental thing. Hell, Winston might even be better under a new coach. And Koetter brought his Buddy, ex fired Falcon coach DC Smith along for the ride. His performance thus far is a straight up D-
(for damned). Some coaches were meant to..stay in their lane. Koetter is a good offensive coordinator. But he’s not NFL HC material. But you guys wanted your shining knight complete with armour. Well, you hot him along with the losing entourage. grab some wood fans, you got lots more trouble..headin your..Buc Way!!

I voted confident for the first time because the commish helped me see the light. Even tho he’s made some roomie mistakes, I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt until he loses it. Thanks, Commish!!

@mike Johnson…I agree….the fact that people are confident baffles me…..we have more talent this year than last year but this team has regressed….even our franchise qb has regressed who dirk was supposed to help develop….we’re still getting untimely penalties, still getting blown out, the hc goofs on the clock and timeouts it seems like every game now, defense has gotten worse, and he’s quit on this team more than twice this year….we’ve only beating 1 team with a winning record…the tougher schedule excuse is bs…..last year we played 3 playoff teams and this year we’re playing 5…that’s not a big jump in competition…..saying dirk needs time to adjust to the nfl is bs…he’s been in the league for a very long time….I said last year Winston made dirk look better than he was and it coming to light right before our eyes…..I don’t see us winning another game this year….dirk will be this years JIM TOMSULA….GO BUCS!!!!

Consider me part of the “baffling” confident vote right here. A rookie NFL HC dealing with multiple injuries and playing a brutal schedule already has bested Lovie’s first year win total. I truly believe the arrow is pointing up if not this year then next. Let’s not give up hope, 3-5 is far from “game over” with 8 more games (3 divisional) to still play.

@toes…lovie did went 2-14 with no franchise qb, no oline and no oc…..dirk will go 3-13 with a franchise qb, decent oline and his buddy as oc….yeah I see why you voted confident…SMDH….GO BUCS!!!!

BRUTAL SCHEDULE?…..we have played 5 teams with a losing record and 3 with winning record….1 we beat the first game of the season…..the schedule is not tough…it is not brutal….STOP WITH THE BS…..GO BUCS!!!!

Don’t you guys ever get tired of the constant turn around in coaches??
You wanna know what we have not found success? It’s because of two reasons: 1 Not sticking with coaches long enough. 2 Bad drafting until Licht got here.
And don’t say Licht sucks at drafting. “Trust in Licht” was the slogan around here before the Aguayo pick.
Tampa fans don’t know how to “trust” in anything, and until they learn, they get what they deserve.

We can’t keep firing/hiring coaches. Unless we have a coach that’s just got a losing mentality (cough, cough Lovie), you have to start building consistency.

I voted Totally Confident!!!! And its good to see the majority voting in the “confident” categories!!!! As far the defense goes, this is what we expected with the injuries, the adding of “Bridge” players and 2 rookies!!!! while going against a average offensive ranking of 12th!!!!!!!! The fact that the defense made a stop and gave back the ball to the offense is encouraging!!!!!! No one can clean up the roster mess of Dom/lovie in a year!!!! And this year was to see who could play in the NFL and coach the lovie out of them!!!!! I am very interested to see the next 8 games!!!!!!

And for the record, I am giving a 3 year pass to this regime!!!!!! They have the “right” coaches finally in place!!!! Just have to fix the roster from here on out and let some of the young new core mature!!!!!!

The real “core” of the team is very young!!! A new D-Coordinator and New (much improved scheme) against from the previous historically easy schedule to one of the Hardest schedules will all play factors!!!!
What the “Real” fans of the Bucs want to see is to start and I mean start to climb the NFC South Ladder!!!! Its time to find the light and crawl out of the basement!!!
