Want to know why the Bucs beat the Stinking Panthers last night? The Panthers could not make plays when they needed to.

That’s the word from smart NFL analyst Louis Riddick. He tells Scott Van Pelt of BSPN that the Bucs went right at the strength of the Stinking Panthers and Carolina struggled to respond.

You can see it all here in this BSPN video.

We need to run the football ,we dont have the wideouts to throw the football around.Lets pound the football and lets playaction off that.

Reading previous comments from other threads, I have to wonder if we all watched the same ballgame. StPete mentioned it in one of his comments earlier: the ball finally bounced the Bucs way last night. The Panthers last night committed the drive-killing turnovers that have been plaguing the Bucs this season. Muffed punt? Check. Deflected INT? Check. Fumbles when you’re about to score? Check. A badly-depleted Bucs defense held their ground for the most part, but reality is that the Panthers beat themselves. Sounds familiar. The Bye couldn’t come at a better time … our defense has to get healthy.

Really concerned about our offense at this point in the season though. It just doesn’t look like the same offense that Bucs fielded last year. Jameis looks like a different QB to me … the confidence & gunslinger mentality seems to be gone. The play-calling has become much more conservative. OLine’s adequate but not beastly … both pass protection and run blocking look mediocre far too often. WRs & TEs don’t look like they’re getting any separation. Jacquizz stepped up big time last night (101 yds on 30 rushes), but it’ll be good to get Martin & Stocker back to add some balance to this attack. Maybe even some play-action, who knows.

Just Win…. great analysis “Defense Rules Says”, I agree, what is Jamies doing? He looks so dazed, confused, happy feet syndrome compared to last year. It looks like it might be play calling also and not enough draws and screens. The one screen attempt was abysmal and almost picked as JW didn’t let it develop. You know what though, we won didn’t turn it over and had two picks and two fumble recoveries!!!!!

Go Bucs… get healthy and go on a run!!!!

Exactly how many teams left that we play do you think we will beat scoring 1 TD.
This was a BAD team and it took our bad kicker and their bad team to beat themselves. . Feel good to win ? Yes. But not this way.

Your ignorance is bliss. We won. Simple as that
Panther’s won 8 games by 7 or less… Ball bounced their way last year… This year, not so much.
    Don’t be a candy a$s

    change names again?
Insults don’t bother me. If truth hurts. To bad. 2 games 2 TD’s. Not good.

I called it yesterday “the kicker” pulled a rabbit out of the hat, looks like he’s here to stay no matter what I think! Grimes and Hargraves played well, I believe our D-line may have found some rotational help! All I can say is looks like we got GUYS that steeped the hell up! LAMBERT & CHANNING are pushing to get more playing time! Very good win ……now rest up and heal up!! GO BUCS!!
