Dirk Koetter Talks ASJ (Sort Of)

September 23rd, 2016
Not much to say on ASJ.

Not much to say on ASJ.

After practice today, Bucs coach Dirk Koetter was surrounded by reporters wanting to get his insight into the latest ASJ caper, this time getting locked up by police four hours before he was scheduled to arrive at One Buc Palace.

ASJ, through various reports on Twitter, bonded out of his cage for $750 this afternoon and had nothing to say to reporters on his way out of jail.

Koetter was nearly as silent as you can see in the WFLA-TV Channel 8 video below, courtesy of WFLA-TV reporter Rod Carter.

I heard he missed practice, and I wonder why, the woman police who shot and killed the man in Tulsa, OKL was in and out of jail in twenty minutes, WTF!

Couldn’t come up with bail? 🙂

    Couldn’t find a lift from a friend?

Trade him for a bag of footballs, or cut him.

Dude is talented, but I’m sick of him.

What a distraction to the team and coaches with a very important game ths Sunday.

Not sure how much of a “distraction” a backup missing practice is. Was Kevin Pamphile missing practice to attend his mother’s funeral a “distraction?” No, and he starts.

you know koetter just wanted to say “yeah, I heard what happened with ASJ. what a dumb arse let me get more facts and I’ll make a complete statement later” that’s what coach was really thinking…

Dude still must not know how to call Uber, Lyft, or taxi.

  8. Dave Pear Says:

    BigHog,
I had to bail my Brother-in-law out of jail for DUI once and there was an 8 hour wait period from the time of booking to the time they would let him leave jail. Like a sobering up period.
I don’t know if that is still the case. That was about 20 years ago.

  9. LifeOfABucFan Says:

Dave Pear..you are correct..it’s still the same..

Jeff Fischer is using jokes to motivate his team this weekend. It turns out that ASJ just provided the punchline.

  11. Buccfan37 Says:

Like dudes and dudettes, shut up. I was trying to get home for a one hour nap before practice.

    @Bucinjax

Not for nothing but if we’re up on those services he may not have found himself in the current situation…
