Golfing Jameis

America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, is taking on one of the toughest golf courses in the homeland this afternoon.

Jameis is in Palm Harbor playing a celebrity Pro-Am event at Innisbrook in advance of the PGA Tour event there this weekend.

Per the Twittering of Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times, Jameis joined the tournament in progress because he was too busy with his morning workout regimen. No surprise there.

Twittering from Marissa Lynn of FOX 13 claims Jameis has been working on his golf game this offseason.

Joe hopes Jameis has a great day rubbing elbows with the likes of Steve DeBerg, Ronde Barber, Derrick Brooks and the other NFL studs in attendance.

How great would it be if Chucky made a surprise visit to caddy for Jameis, like Chucky once did with legendary drinker/golfer John Day.

Another day of learning and fun for young Jameis.

In the words of the over paranoid commenters on the site……”but no mention of him working with his receivers? It’s good he is mingling with people he could actually learn from, but he should be working with his receivers”. You know types. Come on, where are the paranoid posters?

Wow Joe just trying to help you out and the rest of Bucs fans. I’m sure you will put an article out about it soon based off of your history in writing. To be honest with you I could care less about past players who did nothing for this franchise. Sorry I broke a rule.
