Stinking Panthers WR Kelvin Benjamin talks America’s Quarterback.

Yes, this is the last player interview from Joe’s trip to ground zero of the Super Bowl, San Francisco.

This player has a strong connection to America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston. That would be Kelvin Benjamin. The Stinking Panthers’ wide receiver caught the national championship-winning pass from Jameis to beat Auburn two years ago. Joe found out from Benjamin that while the two may be NFC South foes now, Benjamin and Jameis maintain a strong bond.

JoeBucsFan: So what did you think of your old teammate’s first year in the NFL?

Kelvin Benjamin: As a rookie, he threw for over 4,000 yards. That’s [almost] unheard of. I’ve known Jameis since he was first back at [Florida] State when he was young. He’s matured a lot. He didn’t get in trouble [once drafted]. He’s staying positive and he is a credit to his team.

Joe: When he was drafted, Florida State people said he would outwork his teammates. Turns out he beats his teammates to the weightroom and puts his roommates to sleep calling plays. Is that what he did in college?

Benjamin: That’s Jameis right there.

Joe: Since you were injured this year and not playing, did you get to watch much of Jameis and the Bucs?

Benjamin: Oh, definitely, definitely. It’s great to see him have this success.

Joe: What did you think about Jameis going to the Pro Bowl and lighting things up when he got on the field?

Benjamin: That’s Jameis, that’s what he does.

    This pretty much nails #3.

That’s Jameis, that’s what he does.

Looks like you found your new “Simple as that”

Didn’t seem to be too interested in interviewing lol… But he did speak truth

Joe…I appreciate the player & and coach interviews…..they are reluctant to criticize other players or coaches because they might be future teammates… but nevertheless, it’s nice to hear from them.
Jameis has quickly gained the admiration of opponents, teammates, fans & the media.

Not the media obviously or he would have won OROTY. But that was a sham to hype the new LA Rams and we all know it. We know who the true ROY is. And he wears #3

    @ Hire Jimbo

Not the entire media….of course….but he has successfully turned most of the media away from his pre-draft negatives,,,,

    Super Bowl predictions anyone?

I actually think it’s going to be a close game. 2 weeks ago I thought differently. Then I remembered that defense wins championships.

    24-20 Denver.

Here’s a real surprise! We going to make different picks. LMAO

I agree defense wins titles…but I think BOTH of these teams have great defenses.
Cam will simply be able to deal with that better than the old guy.

  10. Buc1987 Says:

SPBF…it’s okay. 2 weeks ago I would have said it was going to be over by 1/2 time. I have this sneaky suspicion today that I was wrong. I think the Broncos are going to pull it off.

  11. Buccfan37 Says:

The Steelers should be facing the Stinking Panthers in the SB. They were better than Denver. I hope the Panthers send the Broncos and Manning home with a loss. Joe, “If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.” Scott Mackenzie

    lmao..Buccfan37

  13. Buc1987 Says:

Defense wins championships my boys. Pay attention to the prophet. lol

    10-0.

  14. Buccfan37 Says:

Good play Talib on the taunting. The challenged catch by Carolina was a catch, the ball never hit the ground. The NFL wants Manning’s last game to be a SB win.

  15. Buccfan37 Says:

Yawn, the Super Bowl was a super bore.

  16. Buc1987 Says:

LMAO has spoken. Did I ever mention to you guys how much I HATE Cam Newton?

    Bwahahahaha!

Buccfan37 …not a super bore when Cam’s getting knocked around like a pinata.

    I’m super-happy right now.

F-U Cam. Where’s Superman at now?

  17. godzilla13 Says:

The stinking Panthers could really use Benjamin right now. Carolina getting it handed to them and Cam needs his ba ba.

    87 drunker than a monkey!

Feel good for me I haven’t had a real buzz in about 2 weeks.

    The prophet has spoken.

    Game over Scam, game over!

  19. Buc1987 Says:

Anyone see the NFL Network live from some bar in Charlotte earlier today?

Some dude held up a T-shirt that read Cam F–kin Newton.

I was appalled. In your face Panthers fan, in your face.

  21. LifeOfABucFan Says:

I’m reading the Carolina boards…there goes all the cry babies!! Blaming everything from Cam’s focus to his mom! Geesh!

    Another BOOYAH!

Me too!..I signed in as Booyah everywhere!
    Felt good…really good…lol…

  24. HuntsvilleBucFan Says:

I’m not sure I get this… so Bucs fans are trolling Panthers sights to rub in the fact that they just lost the Superbowl… Hey, I’m thrilled they lost, sad that Cam tarnished the MVP award (post-game interview, thought he played alright). But I don’t see how our Bucs can brag… I would love to go to the Superbowl. Let’s celebrate getting there and being relevant before we trash everyone else!
