Director of Football Operations Shelton Quarles and his children join Bucs GM Jason Licht and his family in the traditional victory plunge Sunday.
The tradition continues.
Whenever Tampa Bay wins, Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht dives in his pool, fully clothed in the suit he wore during the vicotory. But maybe Licht’s tired of coughing up ugly cleaning bills because he was wearing a cheap jacket Sunday.
Licht’s jacket looks like one of those “Buy-One-Get-One-Free” items from a national haberdashery outlet. Joe knows this because he got the same deal recently: buy a good sports coat and they throw in a Lindsey Nelson-like coat free.
It also seems like a new tradition has been born along with the #FireTheCannonballs plunge. In the last win over the Eagles, director of pro player personnel Jon Robinson joined Licht in his pool. This time, director of football operations Shelton Quarles and what appears to be two of Quarles’ kids join the fun along with Licht and his tykes.
Oh, and what’s with the broom? It’s to signify a season sweep over the Dixie Chicks. Fun!

Shelton has really let his body go since retirement, his legs now look like a white teenage pubescent boys’ legs.

Quarles was always a favorite player of mine back in the Dungy era as well as the Chuckie years…. The guy will not make it into the Ring of Honor but the guy always gave 110% for the cause and has been a stellar member of our community. IMHO the kid from Vandy did pretty ****ing well for himself!

As it pertains to organized sports – Its one of the Best traditions I’ve seen in long time. We should all join in – Most of us have been diehard fans for decades. We’ve sired children that diehard fans. We’ve been through it all, so lets stop all the bickering, and arguing. And enjoy our teams amazing turn around.
None of us are promised tomorrow – So Get over yourselves – And Rep Our Squad.

I don’t have a pool so just dump a bucket of water on me after a win…that’ll due just fine…great team win with some pieces missing on defense…GO BUCS!!!
