“I Throw Up A Lot”

December 10th, 2015

There’s something quite poetic and ironic about the man who has been terrorizing and tantalizing Bucs fans this season.

Joe, of course, is talking about wide receiver Mike Evans, king of the Dropaneers, Lord Lube Fingers himself.

Evans is pushing 15 drops this season, the count of any clear-minded observer. It’s a stunning total for a stunningly talented receiver.

But Evans also has 850 yards receiving with four games to play, and Evans missed one game and barely played in another (Week 2 in New Orleans). That’s pretty damn good production for a guy having a rough year. Evans is sure to hit 1,000 yards again this season.

After his great, game-winning touchdown grab against the Falcons on Sunday, FOX television cameras caught Evans vomiting. He was not sick, as Bucs fans were after his costly drops earlier in the game. Evans was just amped up.

He admitted tonight on the Buccaneers Radio Network that it’s a common occurrence for him.

“I throw up a lot. It’s no big deal,” said Evans, who was upset that cameras filmed his barfing.

Joe thinks this could be a plus for Evans. If Bucs fans see Evans puke after his next drop, then Joe suspects they’ll be a lot more sympathetic.

He better watch out. When I was younger I puked so much and so loud from binge drinking I gave myself a hernia. I was tough though. It took more than a hole in my abs to stop me from mixing booze beer meth and pot. Getting old finally got me to quit… two of those things

  2. Couch Fan Says:

Evans is going to be great, especially with Jameis throwing him the ball. Still young and learning, we need to be patient with both of them.

Off topic, the Bucs color rush Jerseys for TNF looks pretty good.

I’m officially done with joebucsfan. This Evans bashing is disgusting. Guess everyone needs a whipping boy, eh?

    Sir Barfsalot!

  5. Colin Says:

Mike Evans has dropped some balls but he is clearly our best offensive weapon. The Evans bashing is getting kind of old. Stay positive Joe. We have had plenty of bad news over the last few years. Lets ride the positive vibes. Maybe a new name for the Den of Depression could be the House of Hope.

The Evans bashing is getting kind of old. Stay positive Joe.

Get a grip! The guy leads the NFL in dropped passes and may have cost the Bucs two games because of his drops, which very well may cost the Bucs a playoff berth.

No way Joe is going to give anyone a pass with those kind of mistakes. If positive stories is all you want, please visit Buccaneers.com. You will hardly know the Bucs lost a game over there.

“Being positive” means covering up and misleading. Joe has more respect for both his readers and himself to stoop to that stunt, sorry.

To call this story “bashing” tells Joe either you don’t know the definition of the word or you didn’t read the story.

On a bright note, the Vikings lost.

  8. BucTrooper Says:

So Evans gets excited and throw up….regularly?

My pug does that. No joke. Some dogs pee from excitement, my pug just spits up. Glad to see he and Evans have the same ailment.

Not normal for someone that young, better get it checked out by a GI specialist…..seriously..
