GMC A Game Time Decision

December 12th, 2015
Gameday decision.

Gameday decision.

Joe gets this a lot on Saturdays and Sundays: Is (insert player’s name) going to play?

The Bucs are awfully tight-lipped on who may or may not play. Some of this is due to Lovie Smith’s affection for high school gamesmanship.

So unless a player slips up and puts out something on social media, Joe is like most: in the dark until the active roster is released, per NFL rules 90 minutes before kickoff.

Yesterday, Lovie was asked about Gerald McCoy and if his left wing will be alright to play Sunday. Lovie offered he won’t know until tomorrow morning.

“We have a few more hours before game time,” Lovie said. “He’s right on pace to hopefully be ready by Sunday.”

Read into that what you wish. For Joe, it is awfully vague.

The Bucs, without Kwon Alexander, sure could use GMC out there to help clog up the middle. Having his pass rushing ability wouldn’t hurt, either.

Yeah cause othe orgs don’t do this. If the rule is 11:30 on Sunday. Then why release IR earlier? Where’s the advantage to that?

Come on Red Stripe! We need you Sunday!
