Streakin’

Bucs are going streakin.'

Bucs are going streakin.’

Last week, when America’s Quarterback, Bucs signal-caller Jameis Winston, had his emotional postgame speech before his teammates, Lovie Smith noted the Bucs needed to go streaking.

No, not that kind of streaking.

For the Bucs to do anything this season, they needed to streak some wins. It has been 30 games since the Bucs last won consecutive games, a pitiful record. It hadn’t been done for nearly two years when then-Bucs commander Greg Schiano ruled the franchise.

That streak ended today with the thrashing of the Eagles.

Now Tampa Bay is 5-5 with six games left. A wild card berth is not an outrageous thought.

As far as Lovie talking about streaking, Joe hopes he didn’t mean plunging into the victory pool of Bucs’ AC/DC-loving general manager Jason Licht tonight.

    Awesome, incredible, total team performance.

Can they please play against Sanchez for the next six weeks?

I need to make one thing clear about all of us true bucs fans that wanted lovie fired. We wanted change, we got it, that is the only reason why we are winning. Lovie changed and adapted his way of doing. He heard our voice and made the changes needed for us to win games. GO BUCS !!!!

    Speaking for Pablo

“As you know, Pablo loves his Hispanic football players but Pablo rooted against Sanchez today because Pablo loves the Bucs and Hamus more. Pablo wants to see some video of Hason jumping into the pool”

Lovie changed and adapted his way of doing.

Yes he did…even before the season started. He basically gambled his entire reputation and remainder of his career selecting a controversial QB with the #1 pick instead of playing it safe and going with choirboy MM.

Prior to that he had hired Koetter an OC known for four vertical and airing it out.

He drafted all offensive players with the exception of Kwon in the 4th round.

He changed before the season ever started but many here did not wish to believe it. Going for it on fourth down…other adaptations…maybe he’s just smarter than many here wish to give him credit for.

    Well said!

I have no qualms admitting i might have been wrong about lovie. After the Wash game I was screaming for his head and for good reason. But starting with the giants game (a loss) my faith has been mostly restored. He figured out the working formula for our D and specifically the secondary. I think he still needs to prove he wont kneel the ball with plenty of time left in the first half of games. But we are 5-5. Marked improvement in all phases of the game not only since last year but since game one. Well done lovie. You arent perfect but damn good work of late

Yeah Lovie “changed” because of JBF posts. Hilarious.

Rather than Lovie really knew all along what he was doing and the posters were wrong.

    I’m going with B.

    @StPeteBucsFan, very well said sir!

I think Lovie was trying to find the right combination of players because it’s not like he had all stars sprinkled through out it.

Lovie is talking about going on a streak? We have a real chance to win some games. Nine penalties is still to many. 10 for 16 on 3rd down is much improved and 5 of 6 red zone efficiency is simply amazing. Winston’s 5 TD (131.6 QB RAT) and Martin’s 235 (8.7 AVG) are remarkable.

@Indianapolis Colts – Indoor dome stadium on the road. Back-up QB. ASJ?
Atlanta Falcons – Dixie Chicks going to be tough. Possible sweep.
New Orleans Saints – Two in a row at home? Possible sweep.
@St Louis Rams – Can anyone name there starting QB?
Chicago Bears – Kwon Alexander returns. Lovie has something to prove.
@Carolina Panthers – Undefeated season on the line. It can’t happen?
