Jason Licht Keeps His Word

Tradition of victory laps in his pool. In his suit.

Tradition of victory laps in his pool. In his suit.

When the Bucs beat the Saints for the first win of the season, Bucs AC/DC-loving general manager was so giddy, he jumped in his backyard pool, wearing the same suit he wore to the game in New Orleans.

So what did Licht do Sunday when the Bucs snapped an 11-game home losing streak that stretched back to December 2013?

He dove in his pool again. Yes, in his same suit that he wore to the Den of Depression earlier Sunday, as documented on his Twitter account.

Joe hopes Licht has a contract with a local haberdasher, as buying a new suit for each win will get a bit pricey.

You know, even though men like Licht are well compensated for their jobs, they get giddy over a win just like a beer-swilling fan sitting in the stands. Just check out emotional Lovie in the locker room after the win.

Happy Victory Monday!

A win is a win and the team should be congratulated. Think of it the team ended its at home losing streak, has equaled last years win total and are 2-3 before the bye. But interestingly as Lovie singled out special teams, the o-line, RB’s, a defense that scored on a take away, “quarterback” play was not mentioned. So let me take the time to congratulate “quarterback” play (Winston) for his overall management of the game and no interceptions. Good Work.

I wish he would get this giddy about jumping into the Free Agent Pool!
He has done some belly flops there!

I was surrounded by annoying jag fans but they all left pretty early

Now he needs to dive into the draft next year and get some help on defense, especially at CB.

Oh, and by the way, what the hell is up with Lovie preferring guys like Jennings and Jenkins over Revis, Verner and Banks? That’s about as bizarre a situation as I can imagine. Is he so prideful in his “DB-whispering” skills that he actually believes he can bench the good players and start the bad ones and still have success? Something is very wrong with that whole scenario.

Banks didn’t get benched he’s injured and Verner hasn’t looked much better than the other scrubs that they currently have out there at CB.

Licht jumping into the pool in a suit after a win is a quirky way to celebrate winning. This guy comes off as a little touched.
