Greetings from the Highlands of Scotland. Coming across to Tampa for the Titans and Panther games. Will be wearing my Alstott jersey at both games. Greatest player I have ever seen in a Bucs shirt.
I predict 8-8, 4-2, and second. But desperately hoping for 10-4 and 1st but have my doubts.

I hate to be a pessimist…..4-12, last place again. While the final W-L total might not be indicative of much progress, I think the Bucs will slowly start to get better as the season progresses. Winston will flash some brilliance and boneheaded rookie mistakes in equal measure….mostly thanks to our woeful offensive line. However it won’t be enough to save Lovie Smith’s job…(Licht will be given one more chance). The Glazer’s will retain Dirk Koetter as our next HC and 2016 will see Tampa Bay return to competitiveness in the NFC. Another top 5 draft choice will help us restock the O and D-lines.

8-8, 3-3 in the division that stretch of Dallas, Philly & the Colts is going to kill us as those teams are just so explosive on offense. I really think we could beat either N.O. or Houston, as N.O. has no defense and Houston has zero on offense till Foster gets back, but I just think we are getting them too early and our O-line will not have jelled yet and they are both on the road. And I was just waiting to post mine until I saw Mr. Negative (aka The Buc Realist) post as I am totally shocked that he had us even winning one game cause as we all know we have the worst coach in the history of professional sports in every possible way. I mean it is really a surprise we can even come out of the tunnel with the pure incompetence we have as a head coach. I must be crazy saying 8-8 cause according to the brilliant Realist said we have no chance this year.

We win vs Atl, No and loose the rest.
NO 12-4, The saints are commited to the running game and that will help Drew Brees be even more effective. Their defense still cant hold anybody, but they still dominate the nfcs with running the ball, time of possession, and Drew Brees.
CAR 8-8, Rough year for Cam and co. Good defense, just not great like it was the past three years or so. But No receivers hurts. Cam is gifted atheleticaly, but he not good enough to make his playmakers better. And the team may regret going all in on comeback player Jonathan Stewart.
TB 7-9 Good defense, much improved over a year ago. But too many peaks and valleys on offense thanks to a rookie qb. And we also dont have the oline to fully commit to a power running game.
ATL 6-10, Paper thin. Another underachieving year despite the offensive talent. A commiment to defense with a unit thats not as tough as the hc wants or needs them to be. Imagine those corners trying to play rough with OUR receivers. Do they have talent. yes. Are they still soft as cotton by NFL standards, yes.

Also these people saying we have no safeties are crazy I am telling you all right now that Bradley McDougald is going to be a very good player in this defense. The only real concerns are unfortunately so of the most important positions which are DE and the interior of the o-line. Everywhere else we are pretty set with good depth. I mean does anyone in football have a better set ot starting linebackers? Banks, Verner, and Jennings are 3 good corners, We have two very good Wr’s and what seems like a good slot WR. TE is also another possible question mark as non of them have ever been dominant. Again the only reason I am not confident in this being a playoff team is the o-line and DE positions.

I’m going for ideal outcomes every week… Even with a rookie front line and QB the talent is there to do just enough each week in the passing game to free up the Muscle Hamster and The Pack of Rodents that back him up… I looking for Hugh success from our running game… To the tune of 2000 uards… When they do that the D will stay plenty fresh and dominate week after week… Which will mean points from our D and will allow us to steal some nail bitters as apposed to last year… This will happen early in the season and the dreaded momentum of a losing will swing to the delight of winning… The sky’s the limit, let’s hope we get off the ground fast enough to defy gravity…

My pick is 9-7 which is enough to take the NFC South since the Bucs should be able to win more division games than they lose this season.
Lovie is telling players to expect to win the Super Bowl, which if you are on the outside looking in is not realistic, but how many Super Bowl winning teams looked like a credible contender at the start of the season?
If Lovie and Licht make moves like they are aiming for the playoffs, they will reinforce what they are teaching and help the team believe in themselves.

Just a word of warnig guys. This is NOT just about the Bucs. It’s about their competition.
EVERY team in the league has issues and to go winless in our division we would have to lose two to the ‘Aints. They could truly suck this year and win the race for Bosa. 0-4 in the PS. Doesn’t mean anything except on this board where the PS took on huge significance. Brees loses his top receiver…defense..already worse than ours last year loses Galette arguably their best defender. Payton seems to be phoning it in at this point sitting on his SB Laurels.
