New Bucs center Evan Dietrich-Smith

Joe’s radio partners at WDAE-AM 620 also cover the Bucs like glue. And they’ve got plenty of excellent locker room audio on their website.

Among their audio cuts yesterday was the smooth-talking Evan Dietrich-Smith, the Bucs new center, who was snapping balls full-time to Aaron Rodgers last year. Joe is heard asking Dietrich-Smith about Jeff Tedford and Rodgers, as well as his new responsibilities on the Bucs’ offensive line and his blocking skills.

You can hear the full audio below. Dietrich-Smith drops some interesting nuggets, including that he grew up in the same town (at the same time) as Carl Nicks, and (cover your ears Mike Glennon Mob) he references the quick chemistry he’s building with Josh McCown.

Joe, you don’t “cover” things like glue, you “stick” to things like glue. 🙂

Interesting. He & Nicks are homeboys…

Where is Carl Nicks? You hear that Dominik that’s the sound of your FA choices going down the drain! (yeah I know he was fired but I am still mad!)
