“Step Up And Make A Play In Critical Moments”

Chucky talks about the Bucs possibly winning a game

Chucky seemed to be in disbelief that the Bucs haven’t made enough big plays in the final minutes of games to actually win one. Speaking this morning on WDAE-AM 620, Gruden says the Bucs have the talent to make those plays, especially in the secondary.

Joe referenced this interview earlier (Glennon gushing), and you can listen to the audio below. Chucky also characterizes the Dolphins hazing mess as “a bizarre almost misunderstanding.”

Isn’t that up to coaching to help facilitate players to make plays. Countless games the past two years we’ve had the lead or been tied Schiano has run the ball or not gone for it. We were 0-7 at Seattle and he decided to punt it on 4th and short, Jets this year, Saints, Cardinals, Falcons last year etc. Part of it is the players but I think it’s mostly on coaching.

Drinking game tonight. Take a shot every time he mispronounces.

He makes a good point on the secondary. They haven’t closed out a game yet and you would think they would with that cast.

Sounds like the fins are pretty confident. I think we can keep the streak alive toward the top pick.

    Need it bad.

Aside from the fact that Schiano doesn’t call offensive plays and you should be blaming Sullivan, the Bucs have indeed “gone for it” several times over the last few games. It may not have been at the plays you later felt they should have, but they did do it.
