Williams, Nicks Lead Bucs Inactives Vs. Eagles

October 13th, 2013

Here are your Buccaneers that will not wear a helmet today, declared inactive by the New Schiano Order.

CB Michael Adams, DE William Gholston, CB Rashaan Melvin, G Carl Nicks, G Patrick Omameh, DE Trevor Scott and WR Mike Williams.

The loss of Nicks (foot/MRSA) was expected, but Williams (hamstring) was a gameday decision and it could be a crushing blow for young Mike Glennon. The Bucs will need their second tier of receivers to step up big.

NO Mie Williams WTF. This is he ONE game where we need him with the sad pigeons secondary. WE don’t have a decent 3rd WR, Holy Hell, I am going to VOMIT!! The O Line BETTER come to play, and PLEASEEEEE keep Deshrimp out of the end zone.

  2. The_Buc_Realist Says:

    Carl Nicks = Bust

    Another pop-star failure.

  3. Capt. Tim Says:

Uh- we don’t have a second tier of WRs. We don’t even have a 3rd Wr. Just a bunch a Rutgers guys.
So I guess it’s Jackson, that Wr from rutgers( with the eraser haircut), and that 190 pound “TE” from Rutgers.

    Lol!

The Eagles are so bad, we should beat them badly anyway. But this team is becoming more of a bad joke everyday.

  4. BuC'N'iT Says:

I wanna see Owuso (sp) blow up today, I am intrigued by his speed and I just dont know if Vincent can do it by himself, and yah no expectations for the TE group.

  5. Robbie_G Says:

Maybe get Demps some touches, Crabtree BETTER help

  6. Tampabaybuctfan Says:

Actually there may be a silver lining here….I like having some of the backups getting meaningful playing time…I think MW19 only caught 2 passes in the AZ game…

Lets see what some of these guys like Page, Demps & Owusu can do. Glennon threw to Page Owusu & Underwood a lot in training camp.
Lets just hope MW19 being out doen’t cost us the game!!!

  7. Brandon Says:

Maybe if it’s especially ugly the Glazers fire Schiano after the game. I know, I know, even with Rah they let him finish out. Big difference here though, Rah’s Bucs were 4-2 after 6, if we lose here we’re looking at 0-6 as well as the limitless embarrassing situations off the field that have afflicted this team.

  8. joseph mamma Says:

The only silver lining I see is we lose enough games that we can draft a QB and the Glazer’s clean house.

  9. Capt. Tim Says:

    Tampabaybuctfan- “buct”?

A silver lining? That backups getting some meaning game time???
Oh, yeah- that way they’ll be ready for our playoff and Super Bowl games!!

    Lmfao!!

We can’t win a game with our very best players on the field!!!
We are 0-4!! Are you aware of that??

Any good player who isn’t on the field- makes it that much more unlikely that we can overcome Schianos horrible coaching!!!

We should beat the Eagles. They are horrible, and have no defense to speak of.
We are 10 times more talented.

If we screw up and loose this one, then Schiano should be fired immediately- Kiffin style!! Shouldn’t even be allowed on the bus!!!

And 0-16 is very likely. Hello, Teddy Bridgewater!
The Jags can’t even lose right! They’ll screw up and win a couple.

    @ Lieutenant Tim

Silver linings happen all the time….look at the Alex Smith injury…..and Kaepernick’s rise.
Also….you will note that I said “there may be”…that leaves open the “may not be”…..
As I fan, I root for the next man up to succeed…..how ’bout you?

    17-6 Eagles

  12. BuccaneerBonzai Says:

I can certainly relate to Capt’s viewpoint.

Mike Williams being in active is a blow. Nicks is a blow.

    I prefer a win.

However, Glennon is now in a very similar situation that Freeman faced time after time. We’ll at least see if he handles it better. Not really a silver lining, but I have to find SOME reason to enjoy the game.

  13. blackmagic00 Says:

We are screwed. I didn’t see this coming.

  14. Tampabaybuctfan Says:

“Use the term silver lining when you want to emphasize the hopeful side of a situation that might seem gloomy on the surface.”

Just for all of you that hope we lose so we’ll get a better draft pick and Schiano/Dominick will be fired.

  15. Illuminati Says:

Sucks that Williams is out. But fortunately, Glennon doesn’t always have to rely on his receivers to out-muscle the defender. He can actually throw a guy open once in awhile.

  16. Tampabaybuctfan Says:

MW19 was probably not ready to play against AZ…..he couldn’t get open much…..obviously with the bye week, he still isn’t ready….

  17. It's A Bucs Life 4 Me Says:

Let the sour pusses gloat over losing. Then watch them cry when we win. It takes a special kind of stupid to enjoy a whole season full of losing.

  18. Tampabaybuctfan Says:

“A sincere apology to Buc fans”

I am so sorry that I tried to find something positive with my “may be a silver lining” post.
I thought maybe our 3rd/4th reciever may step up….someone gets a chance like Owusu or Page…
but, I forgot that Buc fans are rooting for firings & higher draft picks so…I was totally out of line.

  19. Tony Says:

Rah’s last year the team gave up 69 consecutive points (to the Jags and Cowboys), this team is 6 points away from being 3-1. Huge difference. And only the team really knows what was going on behind closed doors with our previous ‘franchise’ QB. Lets see how the plays out. Heck, maybe even some of our idiot fans will cheer for us to win. And if anyone think Bridgewater is all that? Give me a freakin break.

  20. It's A Bucs Life 4 Me Says:

Nothing to apologize for, you just have to ignore the stupids who are rooting for failure. It says a lot more about them than it does you.

    TBBF ignore the poon,

The little girl couldn’t be happier right now.

  23. snookau Says:

    This team SUCKS.

  24. Jim Says:

No wonder the Saints dumped Nicks. They knew he had a bum plantar plate. He was damaged goods coming in and will probably not be playing football by the end of next season. He was a WASTE.
