I’m sure glad that Ronde isn’t part of unlucky season ’13. He deserved to go out on his terms w/o suffering through this debacle. Schiano/Alfred E. Newman can NOT recover from this. Team Amish/Glazer needs to make a move soon…And I’m beginning to think they will.

  2. Raphael Says:

At this point …disco star dominik needs to go to.

  3. jb Says:

Is THIS really what the Glazers want to put out there for the world to see?
How can they sit there and do absolutely nothing about this? Even our former players are like……WTF????

PLEASE, PLEASE, Malcolm, Drian, Joel & Ed, get rid of Schiano & Dominick immediately! Don’t you realize what they’ve done?
Or are you all really hoping for only 5000 fans to show up for the final game of the season against the Niners?

I’ve missed less than 10 home games in the last 38 years but am seriously considering not coming back to Raymond James Stadium until the appropriate changes are made.
I wish the NFL would step in, beyond the NFLPA investigating the Hippa violations Schiano & Co. have violated! They can’t be happy with the circus Schiano has turned this team into!

  4. kennyc Says:

You guys can’t seriously believe this can you? This is ALL coming from Freeman’s camp. What a better way to cover up all his BS than try and make the organization look like the bad guy. I don’t believe any of the BS, the bucs get nothing out of “smearing” freeman’s name, it only hurts them.

  5. Bobby Says:

Did you listen to what Glazer said?? HE is the one drawing unfounded conclusions. If Freeman was asked to stay out of a team meeting to address the events of Monday’s move to bench him (that was per Dominik) but Jay Glazer says it was to make Josh look like he missed another meeting. How does he get that?? How does he know that Schiano didn’t tell the team he asked Josh to sit out of a meeting? Dominik went on record as to why Josh was asked to stay out of the team meeting. Jay Glazer says “I’m not buying the explanation” So in effect Jay Glazer is saying “I know what the Bucs are saying but I think it went down this way because this is what ‘my sources’ tell me. ” So the unnamed anonymous ‘my sources’ trumps what Dominik went on record as saying what happened????? I’m telling you, what is happening in the media is nothing more than organized gossip. If you can’t name a credible source and have them go on record then it’s nothing more than conjecture and gossip.

  6. Mark G Says:

    @Joe
Could this be a situation, in you opinion, where media types are creating stories by slanting/creating “he said – he said” situations that really nothing more than conversations? Or have our Buccs really turned into a bunch of kindergartners in grown up clothes?

  7. Raphael Says:

It’s all Schiano and it catching up to him now …
Dom is just as guilty for being just a figure head …

  8. zam Says:

coming from the guy who called out Eli Manning from another team and talked about his “testes finally dropping”, before Manning went on to win two Super Bowls, I’ll take whatever he says with a grain of salt. Barber’s objectivity on these kinds of things will always be suspect.

  9. jb Says:

Go ahead and keep bashing Freeman. Do you all REALLY believe he is behind all this?
I mean Really? It’s a lot easier to believe Schianopolean is a vindictive jerk trying to cover up his colossal gameday inadequacies with all the drama that’s being created here. The man doesn’t deserve this position! All he’s doing is trying to cover his a** to try and keep us focused on Freeman.

  10. Tampamac Says:

kennyc and Bobby get it. As kennyc inquired, what benefit do the Buccaneers as an organization get by smearing Freeman? It scares off potential suitors with this deluge of negative stories and makes even a QB desperate team hesitant to make a move, ESPECIALLY knowing if they bide their time he’s gonna be a free agent anyway. Just makes no sense whatsoever for an NFL team to slander a player, even one they don’t plan on keeping, if he’s still under contract with them and he possibly has some trade value. NFL is still a business.

  11. zam Says:

“Sources”? Sources say Kate Upton is in my kitchen making me a sammich.

  12. Tampabaybucfan Says:

Schiano & Dominick don’t need to trash Freeman..he is doing an excellent job of trashing himself.
From the minute he was benched, he has handled it poorly. Starters are benched all the time for performance reasons and they don’t react this way.
I supported Freeman until the very end as many of us did. Yes, I thought he was failing but I still hoped he turned it around. I can’t support the way he’s handled this.

  13. BirdDoggers Says:

Ronde is right, it’s a travesty. The whole thing. The way this organization is being run to the way the coach is handling his duties. The outside perception might not match the reality of what’s going on inside the organization, but it’s the organizations responsibility to set the record straight and create the right culture. The fact that this isn’t happening suggests the perception is closer to reality.

  14. Bucworld Says:

Yeah, I guess Freeman deserve to have a smear campaign run against him. Schiano has been trying to smear this guy out of town ever since last season. I’m sure that you guys would sit and do nothing if lies were spread about you. What benefit do the Schiano has in smearing Josh Freeman? He gets Josh Freeman out of town and replace him with the guy he drafted. They knew he would be tough to trade with his large contract. Its apparent that this guy does not know how to treat players.

  15. MadMax Says:

    Dear Glazers,
There is a grandiose amount of Idiocy going on now….so much so that I believe there will never be a recovery unless a drastic change is made. It just gets worse and worse every single day and week now. I dont know about firing Schiano just yet, but I do know that it would NOT hurt my feelings a bit to see Dom lose his job now! All fingers are pointing to that angle of an out now! I really just CANNOT believe the crap that I am seeing daily/weekly….please put an end to it (you know how) 🙁

  16. JonBuc Says:

It’s much more than just a Freeman vs Schiano issue at this point. Did you read the Donald Penn interview excerpts? The victory formation blow-ups ( which were kinda fun at first…now a bit tired.), the MRSA debacle which sounds like it came from time in NE ( Why were the Bucs even there again other than to fluff Belicheat? Got off the London curcuit so they needed a different disasterous road trip?), players only meeting prior to first game, Revis disenchanted immediately ( insert Mevis joke here)..etc, etc. My point being it’s not about choosing sides between an estranged QB and a division 3 coach. Our Bucs are circling the drain like a once proud Fortune 500 company and there needs to be a change at the top…immediately if not sooner before the shareholders (fans) cash-out completely.

  17. Mr. Patrick Says:

It was a 7:45 AM meeting so Josh would have overslept anyway

  18. paul Says:

I think the smear campaign is from the media, not Bucs.

  19. Mr. Patrick Says:

    @ Paul, agree 100%

  20. paul Says:

I haven’t heard Schiano say one thing negative about Josh. I watch every second of Bucs pc’s, statements everything and it just isn’t there. No way Schiano wanted it out that Josh has ADHD before he could trade him. Same with Dom, the smear campaign is something the media invented.

  21. paul Says:

Shame on you Joe Bucs Fan for joining the Smear campaign.

  22. Jerry Says:

The sports media is the real travesty. You got a stupid radio show host making their “mission” to get a coach fired.

What the hell kind of journalism is that? What a joke this town is.

  23. Warthog Says:

Saying Schiano isn’t running a smear campaign because he has nothing to gain makes the assumption that he would only take sensible, rational actions. But the reality is that the garbage product he is putting on the field, his terrible game management skills and the putrid offensive scheme he has overseen suggests that making sensible, rational decisions is not actually his usual style.

So I don’t see the fact that Freeman’s trade value has been torpedoed as evidence that the leaks aren’t coming from Schiano. $0.02.

  24. FanOfBucs Says:

Josh is facing a formidable advisarry.
Organization has a full assortment of assault weapons.
    Josh has a pistol.

I hope Josh takes down the giant

  25. MadMax Says:

    @FanofBucs,

Ive heard Josh had a lot more than a pistol….he’s quite an avid fan of guns 😉

  26. Otto Says:

Is it just me, or is the Schiano smear campaign far worse than the Freeman smear campaign? It’s hard to believe most of this drama.

  27. traew01 Says:

None of this would be happening if they were winning.

That’s where Schiano and Dominik should be judged.

And by that measure alone they are dismal failures.

  28. The_Buc_Realist Says:

this is the second regime failure for the pop-star. this is the second time that the pop-star has brought to the Bucs. The pop-star must go!!!!

  29. Elijah Says:

Finally, a voice of reason. But evidently not the voice a lot of fkn haters don’t want to hear. Only 28 comments when the Penn article that came out after this one has already over 40. The Glennon mob cherry picks what articles they want to gripe about but apparently are afraid to make comments calling Ronde a liar. Typical mob mentality.

  30. TAC Says:

Sure hope the Glazers step in soon, and stomp on whoever released his medical program monitoring info. I guess he cleared it up with the reason for the program, but shouldn’t of had to do that to restore his reputation in the public.

I don’t think he should be the starting QB, he lost that job. But the rest is ugly, and the Glazers need to step in at this point.

Coming from somebody who is constantly changing his name because people dont like him from all his name caling, insulting, and childish behavior he does in every single post… yea nobody gives 2 sh!ts or 2 cents what you think, TonyTooToo

  32. kennyc Says:

Freeman’s camp released the NFL drug program info, no doubt. With the new CBA teams are allowed to investigate a player before they sign him, Freeman’s camp new this would get out during that investigation. So they figured they would try to make a positive spin on it and again try to smear the bucs as if he was just the victim AGAIN.

Just so you are aware, he would not have tested positive for product Ritalin, he would have tested positive for “Amphetamines.” Saying it was Ritalin is just an easy way of downplaying it. Hmmmm how many street drugs have amphetamines in them? Nobody checks themselves into a drug program because the accidentally took one Ritalin. He has a drug problem, just say that and move on, it’s not that big of a deal but lying about it is.

  33. Elijah Says:

You got it all wrong douche bag^^^^ It didn’t take me long to find out what kind of piece of crap you were after 2 condescending comments. Fkn SLUG

  34. Elijah Says:

that was for the self appointed king^^^

  35. Elijah Says:

If you want to take cheap shots then I will make your fkn life miserable because like you I can sit here all day long 24/7 just making you miserable. So either call a truce right now or feel my wrath.

  36. k1ngadroc Says:

It’s a travesty the bucs have
    a first time GM
a HC that has never been a Coordinator or HC in the NFL and zero National Championships
a OC that has never called a play in the NFL prior to last year
a DC that got fired from his last job when teams posted 40+ points on his d regularly
a bunch of college level castoffs for assistants.

*** I like Brian Cox with the front 7 work and Earnest Byner as well but we ALWAYS lose a few good coaches when the ship sinks…. (i.e.Keith Millard)

    FIRE EVERYONE!
