Team Glazer Issues Endorsement Of Mark Dominik

July 27th, 2013

Not only did Bryan Glazer praise Mark Dominik, he said he expects Greg Schiano to deliver “improvement across the board.”

Asked to characterize the job rockstar general manager Mark Dominik has done since taking over the Bucs in 2009, Bryan Glazer said tonight that Dominik is worthy of praise.

“It’s never easy to make the transition from one team to the next and Mark has done a very good job,” Glazer said this evening at the Bucs’ night practice.

Glazer went on to laud what he said is one of Dominik’s “greatest strengths,” close work with Greg Schiano, including “moving on” from players that weren’t “Buccaneer Men.”

He also said he expects Schiano’s second season to produce “improvement across the board.”

“Improvement from players, growth from players and improvement across the board from the whole football team,” Glazer explained.

Yes, Schiano has been delivered the groceries — and the pressure to win now.

    @Buc Realist

    Sorry, bud….Dominick gets praise from the only one who really counts…..his boss.
    You will have to put up with him a while longer….so sit back, relax and enjoy success…because that’s what’s coming.

    We could do worse than Stick Boy.

    but that means we will have to put up with no playoffs as well

    Hope we don’t have one of those 9-7 seasons the Glazers hate.

    And glad we didnt spend big on any 29 year old fools gold.

    Rock on.

    If we don’t make the playoffs, i guess you will be happy because your prediction was correct.
    You have a warped sense of what being a fan is. Your disdain for Dominick is keeping you from enjoying the journey.

    If I had to choose one between the making the playoffs and playing well, I would choose playing well. You can’t control what other teams do outside of the games played against the Bucs. Maybe the Falcons and Saints each win 13 games and the Bucs win 12. Who knows. Better that than making the playoffs at 7 and 9 and get embarrassed in a wildcard game they didn’t deserve to be in. Fortunately we can have both – playing well and making the playoffs. It can happen this year. Go Bucs and good job (mostly) Dom.
