“Real Frustration” From Schiano

December 15th, 2012

The Tampa Bay Times Bucs beat brothers, Rick Stroud and Stephen Holder, chatter in this video about the state of the Bucs. Stroud says he senses “real frustration” from Schiano and relays a nugget about Schiano stopping practice to demand focus and no talk of bowl games and the NBA.

Stephen Holder’s questions during press conferences take waaaay to long to get the the point. When he interviews people, he basically gives the person the answer to his question. Some time the questions are worded sooo long, the interviewee doesn’t even know what the question is. I wish he was more direct with his questioning.

Hopefully we can win a shoot out with the Aints. Neither team has much of a defense to speak of.

I like the HC keeping the focus on the game at hand. The players can chit chat about other stuff on their own time. Its the small details that caused us to loss the last game against the Aints.

LOL am I the only one that thinks the dude on the left in this video looks like our DC Sherridan?

    @SeanyMacInSC

I would have to disagree with you when you say both teams dont have much of a defense to speak of.

Saints are unable to stop anyone on the ground or through the air, with us we cant stop anyone through the air but we have the best rush defense in the league.. We do have something to brag about on defense, not our overall defensive play but our rush defense has been excellent this year.

hope he starts with himself…..here is a clue coach…next time we have our foot on there throat…don’t let up and hand it over to the Defense..

  4. Steve Says:

Good. There should be “real frustration”. This team was in excellent position to make the playoffs a season or 2 ahead of the plan…now they are not.

Imagine going into your business and telling the employees that they were not allowed to discuss bowl games, basketball or anything other than the products you sell? ROFLMAO!!

When I first correctly diagnosed Greg’s Napoleonic Complex, I labeled him the Little General. That’s from 5,000 kilometers away. I wish I could be a Bucs beat writer, there everyday. I know they wouldn’t let me in the building if I told the truth as I saw it so I would report the corporate drivel and then set up an anonymous “ghost blog.” Where I could spill the beans on all of the shenanigans.

That’s what this team needs and the NFL for that matter. Imagine some of the stories that some of the players could leak anonymously about Bountygate, Adderallgate, Gauntletgate, or last year’s Raheemgate? A Drudge Report for pro sports.

Imagine what K2, Brian Price, Eric Wright or Ochocinco would leak after getting cut? Imagine what some of the Jets would leak about foot fetishes or Tebowmania? Imagine what some of the beat writers would leak, knowing that they wouldn’t lose their access or jobs. Imagine what some certain cheerleaders might leak anonymously.

Lots of ways to skin a cat. Bum Phillips used to have pig roasts and card playing at training camp. Lombardi not so much.

Do u play better loose and relaxed?

Who knows, but we will find out soon enough if the schiano way will lead to long term success, and I mean playoffs and authentic contention, not improving on rah.

So far you have to say he shows a lot of promise. He’s not afraid to do it his way, which is a good sign.

  7. Miguel El Magnifico Says:

I’d play for Bum Philips or his son Wade. Both good guys. Bum who was a real cowboy would never wear his cowboy hat in a domed stadium. He said his mother taught him not to wear a hat indoors.

  8. Bobby Says:

Man! His mother must have been a domineering little bitch huh Miguel??! No hat indoors! What kind of crap is that?? ‘Little Generalette’…..

SacBucs is taking the time on this post to pay homage. If not for this site I would be lost. Thanks Joe for writing what buccaneer.com & 620 Wdae will not write. Thanks to the fans for giving me insight. I would know nothing of Manchester United, the Glazer scandal or the dreaded gauntlet. I stressed every years about state of the Bucs organization. Now I dont! I know what happened. I can piece it together. You guys put years back on my life!

Where I live espn only show the highlights of us getting beat. Even when we win! Nfl network/ Nfl 32/ Total Access/ Sportscenter all do the same..I FOR ONE AM SICK OFF IT!

You hometown sports writers get your pen pushing on that.
