Frankly, this game scares Joe in that the Bucs are looking at backup on the NFL’s worst pass defense now starting, and the very real possibility that Myron Lewis will play in nickel packages.

imo theres no excuse for this loss we out played them, actually played well on defense, defense got the ball back for us 2 times and with great field position both times we could only get field goals. there kicker missed a chip shot field goal we had a chance to get a td on our first drive couldnt only a field goal. We are lucky Seattle and minny lost.

Sticking with Martin even when he did nothing all day, and when the Falcons were stacking eight players in the box, was bad play calling. Should’ve gone to the hurry-up and passed on just about every down. They stuffed Martin so many times it was a joke.

This game reminded me of the first four games from coaching, offense and defense. However with a depleted secondary against that offense, not bad. Too many blown opportunities and at a time needed to control the clock we couldn’t.

The Bucs defense didnt do enough to stop mat ryan and the run game actually.
But, as they have all season, overall, they look competitive and like a solid football team. They sure arent a bunch of quitters continually get blown out like last year. So glad Raheem was fired.

Overachieving Bucs not quite ready for the big boys yet. But just think about next season when we get two Pro Bowl guards and our starting RDE back even before FA and the Draft…future is bright I think…8-8 this year…playoff run next! GO BUCS!
