  1. The Dutcher Journal (Pete Dutcher) Says:

    Bet they sign a QB.

  2. Brad Says:

We waited all this time for what? I at least thought the great GM was going to make a trade or something.

  3. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Oh my Brad! Relax, take a breath. Is this your first offseason. Moves will be made over the weekend.

  4. Tm Says:

Surprised to see Shipley and pain alto on the list. I thought they’d stick. Still need o-line and d-line depth.

  5. lurker Says:

QB Brett Ratliff didn’t get an injury settlement or hazard pay?

wow, and shipley is gone too.

  6. Crotch McGee Says:

Wouldn’t be surprised to see 4 or 5 more cuts over next day or two as we sift through sloppy seconds. Shipley was clearly at risk as late as he was playing in Wed nights gm. I’d be shocked if our O and D Lines remain intact as-is through weekend.

  7. Pete 422 Says:

Wow, both Jordan Shipley & Tiquan Underwood are gone!

  8. BucWild007 Says:

Surprised by the Underwood release… Outside of that not surprised, Bucs need to be real active the next few days to fill some Mich needed depth.

Congrats to local boy Leonard Johnson for making it, as of right now!

  9. Pete 422 Says:

    Pete, why sign a QB?

  10. Keys Says:

I don’t know how Myron Lewis keeps making the team, he must be doing something right that I don’t see. Hope Tiquan Underwood clears waivers

  11. Brad Says:

@hawaiian.. I know moves will be made dork arse.. I was saying with the amount of time it took to release the names I was hoping Dominik had maybe made a move or two. It’s been happening all day. Is this your first offseason?

  12. SilenceTheCritics Says:

No real surprises here though I was expecting Myron to be cut. Oh well, now on to see who we pick up.

  13. Brad Says:

The early reports of Grimm and Tandy totally false.

  14. lurker Says:

    hey buc wild,

why do we need depth from michigan? i haven’t seen the wolverines do much lately. hopefully they can give bama a game though.
    😉

  15. lurker Says:

    grimm is a liability.

  16. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Nobody on the Bucs should go out and buy a house in Tampa yet.

  17. Hawaiian Buc Says:

    @Brad,
You don’t understand how it works obviously (really, who says “dork arse”? What are you, 12?). Them releasing the roster has nothing to do with that, it’s just their choice. I’ve been around enough offseasons to know that. Do you see anyone else complaining about this? Didn’t think so.

  18. Derek Says:

myron lewis makes the team again. that right there shows how bad are secondary really is. youd be hard pressed to find a worst corner on anyones 53 man roster. they should of kept baker at least he made some plays and he couldnt be any worse than lewis.

underwood doesnt make it yet were still subjected to watching parker fumble away play after play that just isnt right. God forbid we had a guy like underwood who actually has speed and can get deep instead of a bunch of possession receivers

  19. Bleacher Bum Says:

The Buc’s should have claimed Tiquan got hurt and put him on the I.R. That’s what Belicheat just did with Demps. That guys something else and he does it right in front of your face.

  20. DallasBuc Says:

So we keep baker, biggers and Lewis?…f’n Lewis???!! Yet we let underwood go. I’m confused

  21. bucobruce Says:

    Shipley gone noooooooooo!

  22. Patrick Says:

Releasing Underwood was stupid as hell, made no sense at all. Benn is broken glass……he can’t be trusted to stay healthy! Needed someone to compliment Jackson and Mike Will.

  23. DallasBuc Says:

McDonald, not baker. Who is this McDonald kid? Did he even get any snaps this preseason?

  24. Bleacher Bum Says:

@DallasBuc McDonald and Lewis just made it today, doesn’t mean they’ll be here tomorrow.

  25. bucobruce Says:

Off subject but I did my fantacy draft 2day does anyone know or think mjd will be playing by atleast the 2 game of the year,I havent heard nothing on him in the last few days.

    Tampaaaaaaaaaaaaa Baaaaaaaaaaay!!!!

8 more days till the panthers get beat down

  26. BucFan20 Says:

Remember they had to keep some of the best of the worst until they see who they can get where. Lewis may not be safe yet.

  27. doubles Says:

So we down to two tight ends? Clark and Stocker? Or am I forgetting someone?

  28. DallasBuc Says:

Bleacher- any other pearls of insight you want to let me in on? I was evaluating the roster as of now, not tomorrow or next week.

  29. Machiavelliii Says:

I think Lewis is a sitting duck, bet he gets cut as soon as they get an upgrade or biggers is healthy again… Can’t see any other reason why they would keep him unless they’re trying to trade him for a 7 th ?….

  30. Bleacher Bum Says:

After that snotty reply? You won’t get the time of day from me, @sswipe. I was just saying they made the more difficult cuts today and kept a couple of fringe players to make it easier and seem justifiable to cut later. We both agree that McDonald and Lewis are still not safe, and shouldn’t be. There will be better players to replace them with later. So, don’t piss in my cornflakes. I’m out.

  31. DallasBuc Says:

Then I read it wrong. Apologies.

  32. Capt. Jean Lafitte Says:

Now they can tweak what they have. I didn’t agree with all the cuts but then again I wasn’t there to watch them daily one on one. When they make these cuts there is a lot they have to factor besides their level of talent. Sometimes if a player is on the bubble (that’s any player outside the first 46) it can come down to money. They have to protect their cap numbers and also give them flexibility to bring in pricier free agents if they choose.

  33. Miguel Grande Says:

I had a very bad feeling about this year, now it’s 100% confirmed.

We screwed until the Glazers admit they screwed up and fire these morons.

  34. Miguel Grande Says:

    We’re screwed

  35. FreemanBomb5 Says:

Marcell Dominick better be upto something devious… Releasing Okoye and Underwood while dealing Price and Winslow for next to nothing don’t seem like intelligent moves.

  36. Hawaiian Buc Says:

    @Miguel,
I’m 100% sure you are an idiot.

  37. lurker Says:

    (agreed with hawaiian!)

i wish your little hole had no internet connection, miguel payasito. don’t you have to go to work with sneezy, bashful, grumpy, and doc?

  38. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Why dont you bet your life savings on Carolina.

  39. Machiavellii Says:

I was just wondering and please correct me if I’m wrong but if I don’t like something I just move on and find something I do like.. So why dont some of these fans like Miguel and Thomas just not move on to a team they do like ? Instead of just moaning about the bucs every single day.. Oh better yet go buy our own team and make your own moves which you see perfect.. Problem solved and leave the rest of us to enjoy watching and supporting the bucs like true fans would through the good and he bad times..

No team has ever won a Super Bowl year after year after year after year as it just cannot be done. Because of players ageing, salary caps, injuries etc. dynasty’s are built, torn down and then rebuilt again. It ales time and a cycle that’s the beauty of the game, ou can’t predict what would happen.

  40. dark_b00 Says:

who needs Shipley or Underwood when we our a run first football team..More Blount and Martin!!! #HYFR

  41. Bobby Says:

Yes, Underwood is a good receiver but when you are trying to build depth you don’t have the luxury of keeping a 1 dimensional player who isn’t a starter.

  42. Pewter_Power Says:

I can’t believe Underwood got cut. Crazy.

  43. TheRealVince Says:

I’m still confused but looking forward to seeing the “finished” roster coming opening day

  44. AqibSwagTalib Says:

Is LB Bruce Smith still on the team?

  45. Capt. Jean Lafitte Says:

What sucks about Underwood’s situation is that he’s not practice squad eligible. Either he gets signed by another team or his talent is wasted sitting out all year. Hopefully, for Tiquan’s sake other teams have taken notice.
