Peyton Manning On Bucs’ Schedule

March 19th, 2012

The self-proclaimed "Geraldini" will need to flash serious get-off to rattle Peyton Manning

Aside from the inevitable Bucs free agent signings in the coming days, the next big season highlight for Joe is the release of the Bucs’ 2012 schedule, usually done in mid-April before the NFL Draft.

That’s always a glorious day of examining the upcoming season. And now the Bucs will be facing Peyton Manning (assuming he can move his neck), the new Broncos quarterback, so BSPN is reporting. The Bucs will play at Denver this season.

Of course, Joe would have much preferred the Bucs take on the ugly yet creative offense Tim Tebow led every week, especially if the Bucs are minus Ronde Barber and Aqib Talib.

Interestingly, the addition of Manning to the Broncos could actually enhance the Bucs’ chances of getting a second nationally televised game this season.

Any game with Tebow would have been the No. 1 choice for every broadcast network. The Manning-led Broncos won’t get as much interest. If Tebow can’t find a starting QB gig, then the networks will look to other teams to fill the void.

Bring it on grand pa Peyton….Fool you should just retire and not risk injury.

  2. stevek Says:

I just hope Geraldini doesn’t go all “pop warner”, and “pop warner” his biceps again.

    @ Thomas2.2:

Will “Softy” sack Manning in their meeting?

Will “Softy” be healthy for their game?

Will “Softy” be ruled a “Bust” with another injury prone campaign?

  3. Rickster Says:

I think gerald will get to peyton!!
Based on what we’ve all seen though hopefully we have peyton between week one and seven.
I dont think gerald will last long after week seven.
Hope he breaks out this season…

  4. Garv Says:

To be truthful, I think the Buccaneers would have had a better chance to beat the Broncos with Tebow than with Manning.
Of course there can be little argument about that and the fact is we are FINALLY on the right path and doing something about becoming a winning team and that, IMO, is all that really matters right now.

  5. Ladyz Says:

If we play the team manning ends up on, GMc will most suredly get to him. All he will have to do is visualize that he is really Thomas after he keeps calling him “softy”. LOL

  6. Jrock Says:

Hey Steve, “Softy” WILL be a bust if he is injured for his third straight campaign out of 3 total campaigns.

Your other questions can’t be answered until the game is played, as foolish as Thomas might be he doesn’t pretend to be able to tell the future

Now I know that you are just being funny Joe. The last person in the NFL likely to rattle Peyton Manning is Gerald; unless of course Peyton happen to have attended Gerald’s combine performance where he demonstrated amazing weakness at the bench press for a man his size.

Peyton may have been ratttled by his pity at the utter embarrassment.

Or maybe Peyton is rattled because it will feel strange to face a 3 technique that he knows will apply no pressure giving him uncomfortably too much time to survey the field.

I am sure Peyton isn’t rattle by Gerald’s 3 career sacks; or his 20 career tackles or by Gerald playing about 50% of his career games, or his team’s 23 total sacks last year, or their last and second to last place finishes since Gerald was drafted, or their franchise record points allowed.

Sure Joe, the league’s qbs are shaking in their boots of Geraldini. LMFAO

  8. raphael Says:

GMC breakout year…it could happen..He could get 10 sacks if he can not get injured.Guy is lightning quick !

  9. Meh Says:

    Clayborn might kill him.

  10. raphael Says:

BTW GMC…I don’t want to hear any ‘excuse me Mr Manning stuff” that really made me mad. Just blindside him as hard and legal as you can….I got 10,000 bucks for u …. j k lol [too soon ?]

  11. BKNYfootballhead Says:

Will we see Peyton Manning breaking his neck and becoming the pituitary mongoloid he already resembles? Will a made-for-tv biopic staring James Van Der Beek then be made? God help us all.

Tolbert signs 4 year deal with Carolina…

    Good thinking JRock,

I was asking for your PREDICTION, and if you can some how tell the future, lemme know who to bet on for the superbowl 😉

  14. Eric Says:

Gerald is bound to hurt his arm before he remarks “damn that guy is good”.

  15. Spencer Says:

Josh freeman will be gone in the NFL

  16. Spencer Says:

Hey got 20 intersipions so the new head coach for the bucs will trad josh freeman and he is nOt very good QB

  17. Lion Says:

    @Spencer

You clearly are one uneducated fool, that or you are in elementary school still. My 5 year old daughter writes better sentences then you do. On top of that I would bet she knows more about football then you do as well.
