Joe 27% of your readers qualify for the Special Olympics

  2. Rickster Says:

IF they play like today i can see four out of six.
    Just being real….

  3. Jesse Says:

Just being real, they are all winnable games as long as Blount has the ball in his hands. titans, Jags and Panthers (x2) are gimme’s. I think we’ll prob split on ATL and DAL

  4. Patrick Says:

We never beat the Cowboys. But the other games are possible wins

  5. Fear The Glo Says:

I think the Bucs are capable of beating any of those teams but I don’t think they are capable of beating all of those teams without blowing at least 1 game. Way too inconsistent

  6. Mr. Lucky Says:

I guess those of you who believe the Bucs will beat Carolina twice also believe in the tooth fairy, the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause?

Sure the Bucs played BETTER today but they still LOST!

How many games do you expect to win with a QB who throws 2 INT a week?

How many games do you expect to win when the offense limits their feature RB to less than 20 carries a game?

Depends on which team shows up. Also depends how defenses cover Williams and Winslow. I don’t know if it was better play calling by Olsen, better effort on behalf of Winslow and Williams or poor play by Green Bay that allowed the Bucs to be better today. But I sure would have loved to see this effort against the Bears and Texans. I think if this team showed up for those games we would be sitting a lot better.

Re. Carolina, that is going to fall on the way Raheem sets up the defensive game plan. I haven’t seen the Bucs too stout against running QB’s since Sapp was hunting Vic in the backfield. It would be nice to see us play Newton well. But it is going to be rough if he doesn’t make rookie mistakes.

Mr. Lucky, I’ll put this out there now. I’ve been hearing for weeks how the Bucs losses to the Lions and Bears weren’t as close as the final score. How we got blown out in those games, but came back to make the final closer. Doesn’t really matter, they’re both losses. And they were as close as the final score, because that WAS the final score.

That said, this week was a loss. The score says so. But the team looked much better playing this game than they have the past couple weeks. If they can play like that, they can beat teams like the Titans and Cowboys and probably the Panthers (x2). I’m not saying they can continually play like that, just that they have now shown the potential. Just like they did against the Falcons and the first time against the Saints. (Of course I’ve heard we shouldn’t have won those games as they “almost” gave it away at the end, which I don’t understand… why would any fan want to give away a win???)

So, I don’t believe in the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus, but I do believe that a team that can beat the Falcons and Saints, and play pretty well against the defending Super Bowl champs that are undefeated this year can beat all those teams. Will they? I doubt it, they’ve been fairly inconsistent. But they can, they’ve shown they can.
