“It’s Make Or Break Time”

November 9th, 2011

In this TBO Bucs vlog, Woody Cummings and his cohort eye-RAH! Kaufman of the Tampa Tribune discuss the future of the Bucs and look back at the loss to the Saints. Kaufman put the loss squarely on the shoulders of the defense, suggesting the Bucs’ defense may not have been “ready.”

Not READY ? Pray Tell why they were not ready when they had a full 2 weeks to prepare for a division opponent ?

  2. Bucnjim Says:

That’s O.K.; the offense wasn’t close to being ready either. What was their defense ranked?

Seems like nobody is ready. The only thing the sheep are ready for is excuses like: youth, the lockout, the so-called “rebuild” wink wink, the injuries, that McCoy is really playing well you just cant tell by watching him play, bad luck etc etc.

All I can say is: they must win this game or it will get Real ugly. The Texans are not that good, they are inconsistent and incomplete. If we lose this one, we are worse than we all think.

Defense Not Ready… What about offensive play calling… You have got a hugh back that is healthy and gaining 5.5 yards per carry and brilliant OC Olson stops running the ball at 13 touches for Blount. You’ve got 1st and goal on the seven and you botch 3 attempts without ever feeding the ball to our Big Back. Also genius interrupts his offense during one of the few drives when they are in a rhythm and moving the ball and pulls Freeman for Josh Johnson and a gimmick play. The Saints were all over that because Johnson typically runs a boot. The loss of rhythm is key here and the Bucs turned it over on downs.

I suggest there is inconsistency on both sides of the ball… Keep in mind that early in the fourth quarter the defense showed urgency and forced a nicely executed 3 and out on a Saints Team that can move the ball down the field.

Tampa Claims Albert Haynesworth off Waivers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Hawaiian Buc Says:

WOW!!! Not sure if I like it, but at least we are trying to win. Better than doing what we’ve been doing.

  7. Nick Says:

And Thomas just renewed his season tickets because we claimed Haynsworth and his 3 tackles. LOL

  8. Hawaiian Buc Says:

No Nick. Now that we actually have him, Thomas will blast the move. No matter what the organization does, he will spin it negative. It’s all he has in his miserable, worthless little life.

Bucs claim Albert Haynesworth off waivers! Good fill in for GMC hopefully he is rejuvenated playing the 4-3 3 technique

Pro Football Talk has Hainsworth to the Bucs!?

  12. Apple Roof Cleaning Says:

Wow, Tampa Claims Albert Haynesworth off Waivers, I was so much HOPING we would.
Plus we signed McCargo too !

I also applaud Raheem for lashing out at McBust for arm tackling, and getting hurt.
I applaud these aggressive moves by Tampa, we are trying to win.

Welcome to Tampa Albert and John !

@Apple Roof (and all the other GMC bashers),

Enough already with the bashing of McCoy. First of all, you are dead wrong and really sound stupid. For every one “expert” critical of McCoy, I can find you 10 that say the exact opposite. Second, even if you are right, so what? Does that make you feel better to bash a player working his arse off for this team? Do you feel like more of a man, because you aren’t. It just makes you seem like a douche. And when he comes back as an All-Pro, I don’t want to see any of you claiming that you were behind him the whole time.

Hanesworthless has become the bastard manchild of football.

    lmao…

We can count on him for 3 more tackels at least.

  15. thomas 2.2 Says:

Actually Hawaiian, I am conflicted about the move.

On one hand I like the effort to improve and if Albert is interested he is 10 times the player McCoy is. However, Sunday it looked like he wasnt trying. I have concerns that since got that huge payday that he could care less about football. For the price and due to the sad state of the bucs, I believe it is worth a shot.

Listen, I am hoping for and considering picking the bucs to win Sunday. I may go (and I have been to 2 games so far). I think that we all know how important this game is which, at home, should provide a real lift. If they lay another egg, the team has quit on the coach and us.

So, I will reserve judgment on Albert, I think if he tries, next to Price and/or Okam it should be interesting.

  16. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Wow, I actually respect that opinion Thomas.
