Chip Scoggins, Mark Craig and Jim Souhan of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune have some interesting takes on why the Bucs roared back to beat the Vikings in this Star-Tribune video.

Why aren’t you smilin now McNabb?
Playing the Bucs has a way of doing that to you doesn’t it?
First with Philly, now with the Vikings.

I cant stand it when analysts discount a loss by claiming that the “game was given away”. No vikes, you didnt give the game away, it was taken by a better team….a team that had played like crap in the first half. The Vikings didnt throw any INT’s, they didnt lose any fumbles, they didnt make a series of bad penalties…thats how you give a game away.

The fact that you had one roughing call and and offsides penalty hardly constitutes giving the game away. Teh Bucs are a better team, they just didnt play like it until the second half.

Now, where’s my Dakota Watson jersey????

mikeck…agreed 100%. I would also add that the Vikes played hard right up to the end. They did not go conservative to sit on the lead, and the players were giving it their all. The Vikes may be on the rise, but first they have to fix their second half issues. They are the Bizzaro Bucs. They play great in the first half, and fall off in the second half. They never give up tho. I am just happy for the win, and that I did not have a freaking heart attach during the game.
