Well 25-0 but still haters gonna hate(Thomas)! Oh but its only preseason!!!!
Well a shutout in preseaon shows that at the very minimum your team has great depth and depth goes a long way towards playoff berths and Super Bowls in a sport where injuries are a dime a dozen. Just ask the also 10-6 packers who became champions last year with a playoff roster full of backups.

The Chiefs were simply not prepared. They were very sloppy!

    Did Ahmad Black play?

Solid play. Solid win. The first line offense/defense dominated. Freeman seemed to be throwing the ball a little high. A good game and positive signs for this season.

Impressed with Anthony Gaitor and Daniel Hardy in the 2s and 3s. Liked the d-line push and the play if Mason Foster on the 1s. Excited to see how they utilize Josh Johnson on wildcat. My apology for doubting the signing of M.Koenen. He looks like a field changer.

I didn’t see Ahmad Black once. I’m not sure he played. I did see Quincy Black, however, and boy did he ever play. Quincy was looking fantastic. On the opening series he took on a OG and forced McCluster outside on the draw play, the next series he delivered a hard hit on Battle at the sideline, just a bit later he put his helmet and shoulder into the ball causing a fumble.

Another thing I saw that I liked was Dakoda Watson playing RDE on 3rd down. He gets off the ball like a rocket, dips his shoulder and makes himself very small and hard to get hands on him. He came through nearly untouched as the RDE twice. I would love to see a true speed rusher out there at RDE on 3rd downs to keep the QB in the pocket and from getting too deep on his drops.

I also noticed that both Al Woods and Frank Okam played almost the entire game. They were out there on the first series and played deep into the 4th quarter. Are they being punished or prepared? EJ Wilson showed good burst and got off blocks nicely and could be a very nice backup at UT, or at the very least the LDE/UT swing.

They had the same amount of time to prepair as we did so no excuses. Go bucs, great play callin can’t wait for next week

    Few things I caught:

-Like CanadaBuc said, Freeman was throwing high. Get that out of your system!

-The way Foster played is inspiring confidence in me, I believe he will make mistakes “at full speed”. The dude is quick and hits hard! McKenzie, on the other hand, seemed large and sluggish to me

-Damn, Briscoe and JJ lighting it up. I haven’t looked at the stats, but did JJ have the most rushing yards of any Buc?

-Someone give me some details on the D-line play. I couldn’t see much on them. Looks like we’re doing better in the 1st quarter of stopping the run, as that’s ALL Kansas did!

Bucs were dominate against an AFC playoff team.. I know this is preseaon but i still think it means good things to come! GO Bucs maybe we should all throw some money vegas way on the bucs winning the superbowl.. lol why not.

What kinda odds are they giving us Nate? I’m considering wagering a $50 spot if my odds are better than 50/1

I think they actually have the Bucs @ 30-1! That’s about where they have the low end playoff contenders.

What an awesome game! If you think preseason games don’t mean anything, you’re crazy. I was at the game in all it’s glory and saw a deflated Chiefs nation! The fans were bitching and moaning all night. Most left very quietly around the 4th quarter. The Chiefs team seemed confused on the field and the sidelines. The Bucs came prepared and the Chiefs did not. Simple as that. It’s a credit to Rah and the rest of the coaching staff. I could not be happier with the way the team played overall. Oh, and best of all, no injuries!

    Great start Bucs!

    Go Bucs

    GO BUCS

And, not ONE word on the play of Sabby “The Goat” Piscatelli Joe ?
Much as I hate to admit it, I saw the goat break up a pass against us.
Regardless, Tampa played an awesome game, and shut out a playoff team at home.
