      Ah, I remember that night SO well. Did not go to meet the team at the airport, but I was very excited that we had a TEAM that could WIN.

      I miss both Howard AND Coach McKay.

      John McKay was such a better NFL coach than people gave him credit for. Just because it took the Bucs a season and a half to win their 1st game doesn’t mean it was his fault. The team he was coaching just flat out sucked (and that’s an understatement). The fact that he took that team to the NFC Championship Game in 79′ shows how good of a coach he actually was.
